Experienced Mamas please help me o.

I just had another small quarrel with hubby over my sudden low sex drive.

I am in week 11 and recently, I am too irritated to even allow sex, ' unfortunately' for me, boo still feels like during it almost everyday

On Saturday, we had sex, and I noticed bleeding ( not the first time, but this was very pronounced), pinkish intially and brownish later. I told him I need to start antenatal to be sure that it's ok to continue but he does not want to hear any of it.

This evening, ( I came home early from work was having serious side headache)he initiated it again and with all my body language he knew I was not in the mood. Right now he is angry and I actually feel for him. I have tried to read materials online to him but he obviously feels deprived.

How do I handle this house?.. We are just 6 months into marriage

If u are having bleeding right after u finish sex note dat is bad u need to quit sex for now


U hubby should understand ur point because u guys baby is in d center of d whole thing


Also there is other ways ur can satisfy ur hubby not necessarily through viginal.



Me and my hubby did not have sex for close to 3 months, because I had previous miscarriage.but I got ways to satisfy him

The way my baby move around since yesterday is so joyful

For this to be celebrated, it further buttresses my point that neonatal care and survival in Nigeria is still at a very low rate and is not advisable. The poster herself has come to even say the doctors have told her same.

I don’t know about Nigerian hospitals. But based on research Nigeria has the highest rate of maternal/ infant mortality so this is not even a risk anyone who is not a doctor or medical practitioner that has accessed a patient should be advising anyone to take.

Hence I stand by my original option that the lady with the very long name that cannot be pronounced should stop giving advice.

Someone is talking about cervical incompetence and is currently being monitored and asking for advise from moms with similar experience- if you have not had any experience wish her well and keep your advise to yourself.

I don't think the advice was bad. She was referring to neonatal care. I prayed that God will keep our babies till full term because the cost for neonatal care is very high and the chances are 10% for survival.Infact, most hospitals in Nigeria can't even handle neonatal procedure.

I just read it now:Depending on how early a baby is born, he or she may be:

Late preterm, born between 34 and 36 completed weeks of pregnancy
Moderately preterm, born between 32 and 34 weeks of pregnancy
Very preterm, born at less than 32 weeks of pregnancy
Extremely preterm, born at or before 24 weeks of pregnancy
Most premature births occur in the late preterm stage.

Ma'ams that undergo similar things should please advice her on how to go about it

Hello mamas/papas in the house. Great job with this thread...I have been on this thread for sometime now but I am seriously considering going for an IVF because it seems like my best option right now.

I got married in mid 2016 and hubby and I were apart for a year. But we have been together for over 2 years now but nothing...never been pregnant even once. Anyways, we started seeing a reproductive endocrinologist recently and he is suggesting IVF. DH's sperm analysis showed low motility and zero normal shaped. He has also had one testicle removed and an hernia surgery. The doctor said he is not so worried about the motility because he can help improve that but that the absence of any normal shaped semen is his fear.

Now, we are in the US and IVF is crazy expensive here but dh and I have decided to take a loan or whatever and do it (apart from the sperm issues, we are both AS and were planning to do Amniocentesis or something along that line). However, now since we have not even been able to conceive, we think we will be killing two birds with a stone (very expensive stone though).


My questions then are:
1. Would the issue of having no normal shaped semen not also affect the success rate of the IVF
2. Has anyone on this thread (or anyone you know) done IVF in the US? Need to ask some questions
3. Any general advise for me and my issues

If both of u are AS why bringing in a child into d world to suffer? .....with ur husband not having a normal shape of sperm and both of you been As is a big problem

Good afternoon mamas. Have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years now. Myself and DH has done all the necessary test and everything was okay. So I'm surprised why we haven't conceived.
I finished my period on Tuesday and on Wednesday till now have been seeing stretchy CM so I thought I was already ovulating, I used the ovulation test strip but it was negative.
Please can someone tell me what's happening and what can I do to take in this month. I want to carry my baby in 2020. Pls help mamas

But note that if u finished ur cycle on Tuesday ur ovulation should start at the middle of ur cycle so is to early to track it not...u can as well go for follicle tracking to know when ur egg droo

Please a very close friend of mine needs an advice on maybe to go for elective cs or normal delivery. She's 36wks gone and positive to Hepatitis B. Though the baby will be vaccinated at birth to protect her from contacting the virus but she's contemplating on maybe she can have normal delivery or she should just opt for CS. Dr said the decision is hers, so she's confused. So I told her I will help her to ask on this forum what she can do.

For crying out loud he is a Dr and he is right position to tell her d safest one. If the viginal delivery is d best for her complain den he should tell her or C's

What is important is the health of the mother and child and not the way d baby comes out
