Nigeria is the only country where people run businesses without checks and balances or anything like that.

It's so appalling to even know that nothing will be done.

In fact, the government will even award the company. Meanwhile, they are operating in a free trade zone.
Crime / Slain Soldiers In Delta Were Not On Peace Mission - Journalist Alleged by ujimer: 12:14pm On Mar 18
An investigative journalist known for his reputation of digging out facts on unprecedented occasions has revealed that the Nigerian Army were not on a peace mission to Okuama community in Delta State as claimed by the authorities.

The journalist known by the pseudo name on X (formerly Twitter) as 99% OPPRESSED (@PIDOMNIGERIA) further alleged that the soldiers went to Okuama to deal with the people of the community.

"Nigerian Army @HQNigerianArmy stop pretending and lying to Nigerians just to garner sympathy to justify your actions at Okuama. You were not on a mission to make peace in that community before the attack on your personnel. You went there to deal with the people of the community, after an order from above. But unknown to you, militants from the community were prepared as well. This is not the first time you guys have attacked that community.

"As of this morning, the Nigerian Army has deployed 4 Hilux and trucks from Abuja with soldiers fully armed, heading to Okuama via Nasarawa state for reprisal.

"My advice to you is to stop being biased political tools of politicians in disputes. Secondly, go after those who killed your soldiers. Innocent people shouldn't suffer over the actions of a few. R.I.P. to the fallen soldiers. My condolence goes to their families," the Journalist posted on X.

The Journalist also claimed that the soldiers went to the community to forcefully arrest three High Chiefs, adding that the soldiers opened fire after the community resisted the arrest of their chiefs, injuring over 500 of them, and killing many - including old, women and children.

The Journalist further alleged that the slain soldiers were not killed in Okuama but inside Forcados River, very far away from the community.

CONVERSEER reports that 14 Military Personnel, including Commanding Officer, two Majors, one Captain and 12 Soldiers, were killed on 14 March 2024, following the aftermath of the communal crisis between the Okuama and Okoloba communities, both in Delta State.

Foreign Affairs / Anarchy In Haiti: The Whole Story by ujimer: 9:05am On Mar 11
As the already impoverished nation of Haiti descends into deeper chaos and anarchy of historic proportions, the question on everyone’s lips is, “What is going on?!”

Haiti is a Caribbean nation located in the Greater Antilles archipelago. The nation shares the island of Hispaniola with a counterpart Caribbean nation of the Dominican Republic. Haiti sits on about 27,560 sq km of land, about 190 sq km of water and has a population of about 10.8 million inhabitants.

Now, let’s cut to the chase. It’s a long story but let’s start from the timeline of the immediate past president of Haiti, Jovenel Moise who was assassinated on July 7, 2021. Prior to his assassination, a few interesting events unfolded in Haiti. In March of 2021, a Tweet originating from the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation stated that Haiti was entering a new period of “political instability and the largest ever social and economic crisis.” The Tweet further emphasised, “Russia is ready to help Haitians restore political stability, maintain internal security and train personnel.”

Three months later, in June of 2021, Haitian President Jovenel Moïse welcomed the Russian Federation’s newest and third ambassador to Haiti, Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov. In a June 2 announcement on Twitter, Moïse said the two “discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries,” (which essentially implied Haiti had opened its doors wide for Russian military interventions and personnel training on multiple levels. But things were still at the incubation stages.)

A month after the historic, open display of partnership with Russia, Moïse was dead, shot 12 times in his private bedroom in the hills above Port-au-Prince after a group of Haitian Americans, Haitian nationals and former Colombian soldiers failed to kidnap him two weeks earlier when he returned from an overseas trip to Turkey, where it is believed he had met with Russians to evade the prying eyes of the west, especially the USA.

When the news of his death broke, the nation was thrown into mourning. Protests broke out everywhere, with Haitians accusing the imperialist forces (chief of which is the U.S.) of brutally assassinating their president. Gang warfare escalated and insecurity in Haiti degenerated beyond control. Amidst all the confusion and protests in much of Haiti over the brutal assassination of Moise, American President Joe Biden was quick to throw his weight behind a quick replacement for Moise in the person of Prime Minister Ariel Henry who filled the void. So, a Russian-leaning Moise was assassinated and a Biden-supported Ariel was immediately railroaded to power, to replace him amidst protests - just for the records.

The choice of Ariel and the fact that he has been supported by the U.S. president to quickly replace Moise at a time that no one has been able to explain what happened to Moise further infuriated Haitians who already seem to have developed a deep-seated hatred towards the USA, whom they believe is at the centre of nearly all the political, social and economic woes of Haiti.

Protests across Haiti quickly took a turn for the worst and then something that hadn’t happened before happened: Haitian protesters were seen in their numbers waving Russian flags! According to a news article in the Haitian publication, AyiboPost, as recently as 18 October 2022, an author, Boaz Anglade, asserts that an undercurrent of pro-Russian sentiment in Haiti already existed prior to the current crises, but that recent events have made it far more widespread than previously. Anglade states that there has always been a fringe segment of Haitian society that has idolised leaders and nations whom they perceive as defying US imperialism, but that this fringe had previously been limited to self-described socialists and socially-conscious university students.

Celebrities / There Would've Been No Nigerian Music Industry Without Eedris, Remedy - 2baba by ujimer: 3:15pm On Mar 10
Veteran R&B and Pop singer, 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia) has said there would have been no Nigerian Music Industry without the likes of Eedris Abdulkareem, Eddie Remedy and Tony Tetuila.

2Baba, whose African Queen put Nigerian Music Industry in the globe stated this recently in an interview.

In his words, the multi-award-winning singer said, "All I know, without REMEDIES, there won't be the Nigerian music industry of today.

"Before Remedies, Nigerians were only singing Reggae (RAS KIMONO, MANDATORS, EVI EDNA, ORITS WILIKI, etc) or we were singing Highlife (OLIVER D COK, BRIGHT CHIMEZIE, etc) or Juju Music (SIR SHINA PETERS, PASUMA WONDER, KOLINTON, BARRISTER, SALAWA ABENI, etc). These were Nigerian kinds of music, and then we listened to American Hip-hop, rap, RnB, etc.

"But all kudos to KENNIS MUSIC and REMEDIES, for daring into the Nigerian hip-hop that was widely accepted by Nigerians. Then PLANTATION BOYS copy suit.

"Many of you were small children and didn't know of this truth.

"Without EEDRIS ABDULKARIM, EDDIE REMEDY and TONY TETUILA, there would not have been the Nigerian music industry of today.

"Give honour to whom honour is due."

CONVERSEER reports that the Nigerian Music Industry has evolved with time but thanks to people like the likes mentioned above and former President Olusegun Obasanjo who prioritised the playing of Nigerian Music on all Radio Stations and Televisions in the early 2000s.

Do a sensitivity test, and go to a Diagnostic Lab instead, after the test, you'll know the exact drug to take and try as much as you can to avoid sex during that time.

The sensitivity will tell if it's sensitive or resistant to certain drugs.

A repeat of Mount Zion by Inyang Edem and Nyahasang viewing centre almost happened in Calabar, Cross River State, following the surge of a high-tension wire last week.

The incident, CONVERSEER learned happened on Saturday, 2 March 2024, at Chamley by White House.

An anonymous source who sent the video to our newsroom said the incident happened close to the big gutter that is currently undergoing rehabilitation.

According to the sender, it took the bravery of some men to save the two people who got sucked and were almost electrocuted.

The sender also decried, "I keep thinking about the low-hanging electric cables at Bedwell (Effio-Ete Shopping Complex stretch). I pray something should be done to take some further up - for safety reasons."

According to the video, one man was trapped in front of his shop while the other was left hanging by the edge of a demarcation shaking until some brave men scouted for dead woods and pulled them out while the electric surge continued.

Some of the high-tension electric cables fell on the roof and the ground, burning in high flames.

A source who escaped Mount Zion by Inyang Edem's electrocution said that he doesn't wish for anyone to experience electrocution.

Added, "I don't want to remember the Mount Zion by Inyang Edem incident which I escaped years back, talkless of the Nyahasang viewing centre where football fans were watching Manchester United Europa League match. I can never wish for such a thing to happen to anyone."

"Seeing this Chamley incident brings back memories and I thank God they survived. Thanks to the men who summoned the courage as well."
