Religion / Re: "Witches & Wizards In Nigeria, Leave Me Alone": Lady Living In USA Publicly Begs by Unclerukus: 9:08am On Nov 22, 2016 |
DedeNkem:you try to sound enlightened but you're actually very ignorant. Even the so called whites you try to imitate have them and know they exist, they are known as wiccans (USA and U.K) they just choose to ignore their existence and not focus on what they do. All civilizations throughout history , from Africa down to Asia and Europe all have referenced the existence of witchcraft. I think you should read more to enlightened yourself. The problem is that we Africans attribute all our problems to something Magical or mysterious when most times we are the one at fault and not some witch or juju. 3 Likes |

Baroba:I am not Igbo but from my knowledge, I know it's the ball python also known as royal python that is sacred, they don't harm and are very docile also they don't grow big at all , highest they grow is 5 feet which is small for a python. This one in this picture here is a beast, 14 feet !!! this one would comfortably swallow anybody below 5 feet 7 inches.( young adults and children). This one would comfortably strangle an adult. That one is an African rock python not royal python, very very dangerous type of python. |

Ibidi:A quick question. Are you Nigerian? You don't believe in juju. I have seen it manifest so many times. I am educated and I try to look out for logical explanations on a lot of things. I have known about myaisis and I am not a doctor, but if trained doctors rejected her after some months without referrals, then there's more to it that meets the eyes, you can't tell me they don't know about myaisis, in the age of Internet when a seven year old child can Google out symptoms and types of diseases with incredible ease . If juju doesn't exist, how do you explain thunderbolt (mágun) and a lot more. Juju is real, we just pray it doesn't affect our loved ones. |
Business / Re: Banks To Close Branches As Recession Bites Hard by Unclerukus: 12:24pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
FunkyMetahuman:inflation goes with a recession, it's called stagflation. But we have been doing okay with our previous inflation percentage for a while. This recession is caused by poor policies made by Mr. Buhari. e.g Like banning imports like rice without creating provision to amend such policies. Policies like that would disrupt so the economic cycle, workers, banks that gain from such businesses( considering Nigeria is import dependant, a lot of businesses). The banks lose chunks of money from businesses and it's causes a chain reaction. The little goods you can lay your hands on are way too expensive but there's is no money to buy it. |
Business / Re: Banks To Close Branches As Recession Bites Hard by Unclerukus: 12:09pm On Sep 20, 2016 |
FunkyMetahuman:That's inflation, where there's too much demand but less corresponding supply. (where the money to demand?). This us a recession, no or reduced productive or economic activity nationwide. Money is basically not changing hands like it used to be. Hence low saving. That's my opinion bro. 1 Like |

This is so backward. Are we in a junta or a democratic government. Haven't we seen far worse cases of public and bold insults, memes and newspaper columns degrading leaders such as Obama, Bush, Zuma, Jonathan, Cameron? This just shows sheer lack of lack priorities. Why would anybody care about a name on a dog, like who cares? Even if it were my ancestor's. Who gives a hoot, it's a common part of democracy all over the world toward a resented leader. It's sad that Nigeria is run like a rudder less ship packed with glorified illiterates. This is a non-news in developed countries. 1 Like |

Muslims always have a strand of violence in them. Potential peace breakers and arsonists. They publicly and boldly degrade Christianity all the time but do Christians behave violent? If you have to prove and fight for your Allah, then he is just a dead god(demon of violence and destruction). 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: Chevron Suspends Operations As Oil Rises Above $50/barrel by Unclerukus: 10:38am On May 27, 2016 |
The way oil blocks/wells are allocated here in Nigeria is unfair. In most cases abroad, it's the family that owns the land that have authority over the pockets of oil in it. They can decide to make it a family business or sell it out to investors, thereby making the people benefit and enjoy the dividends. Most Arabian and Texan families are rich because of such policies. Our things are always different, greed and power insatiable people. |

allthingsgood:Have you been to Qatar or dubai? If not you don't know nothing. The people are pained besides that's the only way to get govt attention, you want them to protest peacefully, you must be kidding me, you don't talk like a Niger deltan. I grew up mainly in Botswana and Lagos and I only visited delta on occasions. The first time I visited my mother's village, I was pained. There's nothing to suggest it's an oil producing region, poverty reeks it's so bad. My father works in shell (SPDC), he tells us that even in the Niger delta off shore and on shore fields, hausa engineers are so many there and they racket alot. My friend you aren't a Niger deltan. |
Politics / Re: We Will Deal With Niger Delta Avengers Eventually - Buhari by Unclerukus: 9:52pm On May 14, 2016 |
allthingsgood:just because you're typing from a cheap smartphone does not make you smarter and better than the people in the Niger delta and ipob youths. They demand social amenities and dividends of government accrued to an oil producing region. Despite oil being produced there, there's a large swath of under developed areas and poverty. Imagine visiting a village where oil is drilled by oil companies and their is not a clinic and the primary school infrastructure is non-existent, low crop yield because of land pollution. You know nothing boy. Millions of dollars are made in their back yard daily but carried to FCT to spread. 80% percent of oil blocks are affiliated to Northern businesses and people. If the in justice continues, I support their movement 100%. This concept of Nigeria doesn't pay anyone other than a select few elite. 3 Likes 1 Share |

This guy must always have something to say. He talks too much for a man. Aren't we fantastically corrupt? Let's call a spade a spade. With all the oil wells and reserves in this country, the hardship is unbearable and we aren't reaping any benefits of being an oil rich nation unlike places like Qatar and dubai. Who is enjoying the revenue made from oil sales? politicians children renting private jets and driving superstars, yet we are so fickle to be angry at such statement? We are just a group of people that are suffering and smiling. We are so corrupt even to the average Nigerian man, swallow the bitter truth. |
