Please house, I really need your advice here.
My husband is 52 years and he wants to apply for masters in Germany. He has a GPA of 3.0 and a fail in Mathematics in his WAEC. He has like 20 years work experience in media though, he doesn't work there anymore. He has a sister who has been in Germany for over 30 years who wants to sponsor him. Please house, what are his chances? Does he need to do any additional exam? His he too old for the program? Is he too old to be sponsored by his sister? Please house, I really need your thoughts and advise on this!
I think he should learn a bit of german to show signs of seriousness to the visa officer or I will just advice he go through the work visa route that will be better because they look for little things to disqualify someone or they may say he is not there to study but wants to hustle.germany has not limits when it comes to age but at 52 to study, will be quite difficult to convince them because they may think he can't study and not to talk of the waec. But if u still want to go through the study route ,ur letter of motivation has to be very strong.my own advice is he should go for work visa or ausbildung, someone with 20 years of experience in a profession will have a strong case for work visa or ausbildung

Please house, am in category B, visa. Please, i mistakenly omitted a letter when filling my name and I also used two names for application because, I only saw space for two names. Please, will that cause any issue and if yes, what's the solution to this? Thanks!
omo.to be very honest, I don't think there is a solution, immediately u book an appointment, the confirmation mail strictly says u should cancel ur appointment immediately and rebook if u made an error,u can still email the embassy and wait for their response

Hi, please I need advice on this
My bachelor's certificate and passport both has different middle names. while my birth certificate given at birth from the hospital has just my surname and name. Should I be worried because my AD will likely come out this year.
Is there anything I can do to this effect.
swear an affidavit in a high court. That should do it.high court and not customary court

Please I made a mistake while booking a visa appointment by filling in a wrong passport number but I have a date now so I want to know if thereโ€™s a way to correct it
unfortunately one will not be allowed with incorrect passport number or info.even from the confirmation mail u get after booking says u should cancel and register again if u notice u made a mistake.u know how this german guys do,they look for any little mistake.well I think u should just email them with this problem and hope for for the best.then still attended the interview, anything is possible by God's grace

It's really infuriating. I got the same email. 1 year 6 months to get a an interview at the German embassy for Nigerians is just an insult to our government.

From my observation, they are trying to stop Nigerians from taking advantage of their free/cheap education system but what they don't know is that lots of people are admitted to private universities and they are a lot of genuine scholars from the applicants.

Category A wait time is within 4 weeks while B is over 1 year and 6 months. It doesn't make sense. It is better they scrap the Category B thing and make it known that you can only study in Germany if you meet the requirements in Category A instead of frustrating the dreams and aspiration of genuine people. but they wouldn't do that as that would expose them.

We all know that in a decent country they will not be doing this. Our government is lackadaisical about issues like this and that is why we have to so something about it by letting the whole world know how Germany treats Nigerian students.

If we don't put an end to this, everyone that comes after us will have to go through the same treatment or even worse.

Collectively if we put sufficient effort with the right resources, we can put this issue in front of the whole world and get a good reaction from the German embassy without risking our chances of going to Germany. The way I see it, it's a win-win situation for us.

I'd like to hear you guys opinion about this so we can get into discussions about the plan and execution.

I truly understand ur point we are all waiting as well but the thing is ,it's their country and their law, they owe us nothing, neither are they our government and they are also entitled to the decide who and amount of pple dey want in their country. There's little you can do change to change their law.not to talk of some Nigerians who go there to spoil things and commit crime, then ruin the opportunities for actual genuine students
