blink182: Didn't catch the joke

you didn't? .... ok recalling that the BOSTON MARATHON BOMB WAS MADE OUT OF A PRESSURE COOKER AND WAS PLACED IN A BACK PACK ,let me just high light some of the things (questions and answers.) that made me laugh.

1. Most of it was innocent enough. I had researched pressure cookers. My husband was looking for a backpack.

Joint Task force team asked Do you own a pressure cooker? My husband said no, but we have a rice cooker. Can you make a bomb with that? My husband said no, my wife uses it to make quinoa. What the hell is quinoa, they asked.
Apparently they are Hispanic or mexican family and Quinoa is some sort of food ,almost like lentils but takes a longer time to cook and i guess that was why the lady had Googled ''pressure cookers'' online. To make the cooking easier.

2. Joint Task Force asks Have you ever looked up how to make a pressure cooker bomb? My husband, ever the oppositional kind, asked them if they themselves weren’t curious as to how a pressure cooker bomb works, if they ever looked it up. Two of them admitted they did.

Curiousity they say kills the cat. This one's so funny.

3.What happened was this: At about 9:00 am, my husband, who happened to be home yesterday, was sitting in the living room with our two dogs when he heard a couple of cars pull up outside. He looked out the window and saw three black SUVs in front of our house; two at the curb in front and one pulled up behind my husband’s Jeep in the driveway, as if to block him from leaving.

Six gentleman in casual clothes emerged from the vehicles and spread out as they walked toward the house, two toward the backyard on one side, two on the other side, two toward the front door.

A million things went through my husband’s head. None of which were right. He walked outside and the men greeted him by flashing badges. He could see they all had guns holstered in their waistbands.

This last one just reminded of ''law and order'' and ''24'' or some holly wood crime series . I bet the guy was thinking they were shooting a movie in his neighbourhood. cheesy

i'm sorry but this is really really cracking me up each time i play the scene in my head. cheesy cheesy grin oh..wait a minute ..i'm still playing it in my head right now...bruuuaaaahahahahahah...lol cheesy cheesy

Fashion / Re: I Hate It When Market People Call Me "Mummy" At Age 35. by uzoo: 5:20pm On Aug 07, 2013
classyqueen: Why do market people love to call me *mummy*? Am only 35 and some of them are older than I am.

That shouldnt be a worrisome issue to you, first and foremost you should accept who you are and build your confidence,if you still need to do something about the way you look let it be because that is what you want to do and what will make you happy ,And not because you are trying to please people (''market people''). Shed some weight if you like ,use some make up if you like, dress the way you want ,whatever you feel you need to do just remember you can NEVER EVER PLEASE EVERYBODY.

yea ,the pre-natal pills helps with the hair growth and strong healthy snails, but i hate the fact that it increases my appetite for food.So i opted for something else like Mineral Rich which i take once a day in the mornings, it has 200 mcg of Biotin and 1000 mcg of silica.I'm currently running out so i'm stretching the tiny bit left ,i'm taking it 3 times a week now.

Oh,did i mention,THIS STUFF WORKS! i had an inch of hair growth in 4 wks, pictures here http://productsthatactuallydowork..com/p/hair-w.html

other supplements like Omega-H3, and Obron 6 are also good.

adaobi123: I love it. kiss

@lollydollydrop are you a tall girl ?

funny you should ask... but really i do admire a nice well put together outfit which a pair of high heels brings together on any one regardless of their height.

there's a joke about no matter how high your heels are, a petite lady will always appear short in them ,but when a tall person puts them on ,they tend to look really really tall.

Even when i'm on flats ,some guys still feel intimidated and i often catch them staring at my feet to see if it's my shoes that are making me look tall... grin smiley

i beg to differ.

for me ,certain out fits demand certain types of shoes. Some dresses will not have a complete look with out a good pair of high heels.

Well, i was watching the entire thing and typical American , they always have some sort of reason for their actions and try to blame it on it, ''oh my mom didn't give me hugs and kisses as a child'' or ''i was bullied in school as a child'' ,or ''the society neglected me and made me unhappy'' ''i was traumatised by my father's drinking habits''' boo hoo hooo .So we should feel sorry for you ,right?

The guy had no remorse for what he did i even heard him call himself a ''victim'' ,saying it was his wife's fault he did what he did. He even said something as silly as ''the girls were not virgins when he took them, that one of them sometimes even begged him to have inter course with her''' ...can you imagine that lipsrsealed.

Well i hope he seeks God in jail ,cause he may not survive 5 years there...,some people are waiting for him in jail to unleash their anger on him.

GOD, i can not begin to imagine what those ladies went through and how they feel right now.

Yvete: What you think about floral bridesmaid dresses? Seems like its a trend to watch for 2014.

I love floral accessories like clutches, belts, and maybe shoes, but floral dresses make me feel like a walking curtain! grin

Brides Maid dresses ? i would say Go for it,and yes the floral prints are slowly and gradually making an entrance.i said Slowly because when it comes to prints you have to tread lightly otherwise you will end up like your grandma's Sofa or like you said Yvete ''a walking curtain''. cheesy cheesy lol....

Take a look at Kim K's Hot Mama Mess,Someone had to drive the point home by making a joke with the photo shopped second picture.

The Third picture is more like it ,its Sweet smiley i am in love with that look ,the white top plays it down .
emphasis on '' Down''. wink

kate85: Thanks for sharing. What do u think about using ore and coconut oil?

By 'ore' ,i'm assuming you mean shea butter- its fine to use shea butter on the topends of the hair , this is because when applied directly to the scalp it can leave a residue on the scalp making it look like dandruff.

Coconut is perfect ,you can massage on scalp or on to damp hair or after applying moisturisers to the hair.

One more tip.
Spray the detangling moisturiser on to the corn-rows,braids or weaves on the child's hair before you lose the braids/corn-rows.
it helps to soften the hair and make it easier to comb afterwards.
