Fashion / Re: Front Hair Growth by uzoo: 3:27pm On Mar 10, 2013
well i started observing the growth in less than a month.

but in addition to the home made hair conditioner above, i was also taking OMEGA H3 capsules.

i tell you, that is a miracle drug . it suppliments your meals and helps with every deficiency in vitamins that you lack for

hair growth , nails , even skin if taken everyday. Like i said ,its a suppliment ,meaning you have to eat and balance your diet with lots of proteins ( especially Egg whites)along with the drug to see an improvement.

Remember PROTEINS REPAIR WORN OUT TISSUES. so for any kind of growth , ( nails, hair , teeth) you need protein.

If you are bold enough and can stand the smell of raw egg on your hair , then add raw egg white to the mixture above before applying to hair when steaming, or leave it in your hair over night , to wash off with water in the morning.

Good luck.

get a detangler and spray all over it , dont use any of those heavy hair creams/conditioners that are made for black hair.

you can use JUST FOR ME detangling conditioner , its actually for kids but does the job when sprayed on hair extensions.

after spraying then comb through before using a brush.

in addition to what adonisgold and dominique said

create a home for everything in your kitchen, it could be wall shelves like earlier mentioned or boxes, so that as soon as you are done.
everything goes back to where they were.

So you've got a little bambino who has real natural african hair but its such a pain getting them to sit and have their hair done in the salon or where ever, because it hurts badly when combing through.

Follow this routine to a soft manageable hair.

(i often advice that one should never use any form of relaxers on a child's hair at least until she/he is older ,say 16- 18 years) even the so called texturizers , its just a sugar coated name , the damn thing still contains harsh chemicals that is bad for a tender scalp like that of a child.
If you are using relaxers for your kids hair , my advice is to STOP NOW!

1. to comb through hair braids/corn rows that has been loosened before washing , try spraying a DETANGLING CONDITIONER on the hair before combing through.
e.g Just for me detangling 2 in 1 conditioner. ( deep pink plastic bottle with purple cork)

2. wash the hair twice a week with children's conditioning shampoo e.g JUST for Me ,2 IN 1 CONDITIONING SHAMPOO ( lemon green plastic bottle with yellow cork)
in the case where you can not get a conditioning shampoo, find a shampoo for kids and a separate conditioner for kids.

3. apply leave in conditioners for kids by ORGANICS ,at least every other day on the childs hair and less on the scalp to avoid itching.

4 . when washing the hair make sure the temperature of the water is hot enough for the child to bear , ( not warm ,not cold , just slightly hot)

5. while washing the hair massage the scalp very gently ( this helps to stimulate the blood vessels in the scalp and promotes hair growth at the same time while relaxing the child. i can not recall how many times i've been to the salon and i watch all these saloon girls washing the child's hair like they are digging for gold, or trying to shake off stones from the hair. This causes pain and breakage.)

6. try as much as possible to dry the hair gently with a towel before using the blow dryer, excessive use of the blow dryer can damage the hair and tend to make the hair brittle.

7. repeat number one after washing and you are about to blow dry the hair.

8. when blow drying using a good wide tooth comb ( not the plastic coloured weave on brush), start from the top of the hair holding the roots with your hand and comb. Do this for the entire top of the hair before working your way down to the roots with the comb , this helps to release any tangled hair at the top and allows for easy combing/brushing from the roots all the way up.

9. if your child swims often , make sure you rinse the hair out with clean water to get rid of chlorine, dry with a towel or a T-shirt use the conditioner ( leave in ) as soon as the hair is dry.( the chlorine used in swimming pools affects the hair too)

10. always keep the child's hair moisturised by using hair conditioner for kids. try Organic root products for kids.

You can also mix water and glycerin in a spray bottle and spray on the child's hair 2 or 3 times daily

Everything's under control, y'all! J.Lo is her glam self again!

After looking like a forest dweller at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Jennifer Lopez scrubbed the tree sap from her skin and emerged in glorious form at the premiere of her new film Parker in NYC on Wednesday.

Hurrah!

The 43-year-old looked superb in a strapless white peplum Lanvin dress with bow detail and white Lanvin pumps.

Born in Mogadishu on July 25 1955, Iman is the daughter of Marian and Mohamed Abdulmajid.
Iman first got married at the age of eighteen to a young Somali man with whom she had fallen in love. The marriage ended a few years later when she moved to the United States to pursue a modeling career. In 1977, she married American basketball player Spencer Haywood. Their daughter, Zulekha Haywood, was born in 1978. The two divorced in February 1987. On April 24, 1992, Iman married British pop musician David Bowie in a private ceremony in Lausanne. The wedding was later solemnized on June 6. They have one daughter, Alexandria Zahra Jones, born August 15, 2000. Iman is also stepmother to Bowie's son from a previous marriage, Duncan Jones. Both children bear Bowie's legal surname. Iman and her family reside primarily in Manhattan and London

i was looking at some current fashion magazines and it seems to me that the LBD (little black dress )
has been taken over by its rival, the( LWD) the little white dress.

who says the bride is the only one allowed to wear a white dress ....

(well, i guess only on her wedding day grin).

these white dresses are in ,and the LBDs are taking the back seat for now.

take a look at whats trending now on the bright ''white '' side.

Oatmeal

How it helps:
This classic breakfast food may help reduce body-fat levels by providing slow-digesting carbs with plenty of fiber to keep your insulin levels stable throughout the day. Ultimately, this helps increase fat-burning because higher insulin levels help move fat into storage more readily, especially if you’re not training regularly.

APPLE
An apple a day may keep the doctor away and it may also keep the fat away. One study found that dieters who ate one apple before each meal, burned more calories and lost more weight than dieters who did not kick off their meals apples.

WATER
Water is an important part of any diet and works in a myriad of ways. It cuts fluid retention by flushing water from the body. It's also been shown to speed the metabolism. Furthermore, drinking water prevents dehydration, which has been shown to slow the metabolism. People who are dehydrated often confuse thirst for hunger and end up eating unnecessary calories.
