Travel / Re: Italy Student Visa by vanessara: 4:29pm On Sep 04, 2008
chykeo:

The processes of obtaining an Italian visa for reasons of study is outlined in the Italian embassy in nigeria website. Firstly make sure you get an admission from the school. once you have the letter of Offer of a place from the school you can now proceed to apply to the embassy. Please the era in which you pay anybody to assist is gone. Go straight to the website of the school in question and apply. Once they offer you a place, they might ask you to pay for your tuition or half of it. With that payment, they will send you a letter. Everything is online now, so don't pay nobody. Apply for visa at the Italian embassy since you have everyother requiremnts (money wise). They wont have any reason to deny you.

I live in Rome. Feel free to ask any questions. There are schools here that are entirely in english like the American University of Rome, www.aur.edu and the the St. John Cabot University. For more info , you can google it out

Ask me questions through chykeopio@yahoo.com or

@chykeopio
thanks,i have contacted the school so i am yet to get an enrollment certificate that i will take to the embassy,my question is what should i except at the italian embassy here in nigeria.

@pataki,
thank for the response and not castigating me like ST BROWNBONNO.
i was given a family visit for 6 months with my dad and mum and my younger brother,prior to that we had an elder brother who was on student visa which we mistakenly didnt reveal to the eco,anyway,i came back with my folks but my younger brother stayed back with my elder brother with his visiting.
i can back and we all decided to renew our visas with the exception of my elder brother,we were all called for an interview but my younger brother didnt show up because he obviously stayed back and we didnt want them to know.
the officer that interviewd us didnt give us.
i want to apply for a student visa now.i dont want to change my passport or declare it missing.i came back so that things can be rightly done. sad sad sad

@London cool,funky,vor,pataki,
please i need advice,i was given visa in 2005 and i travelled and came back.it was actually a family visa but one of my siblings didnt come back because i already had a brother who went there to school.i reapplied in 2006 and i was called for interview to the embassy with my absconded sib but because he is over there,he cldnt make apearance and i had to say he was writing exam in the university.
to surmarise the story,i wasnt given.i didnt appeal.
My questions:
i didnt appeal what are the consequence(s)?what are my chances

i want to apply for stuent visa,please how to i go about it?what is the minimum i must have in the account that i will take to the embassy?
thanks sad sad sad

@sim 29,
may be i am that your friend, that was my talent, anytime my period comes calling,to describe it, its undesribable,i was always weak,will throw up and i had an excruciating pain on my back(spine).as well as my tummy.i always laid on the rug with my mum`s heels on my spine.if i am on the whole world knows and i cant help it.generally,i dont fall ill but when my period comes, its horror movie.
bouts of depression and quick anger never left me.till one day i was watching a programme and this lady "ayodele quincy" came on air.i couldnt go to school simple coz i was on.
there was a number displayed on the tv for her to be contacted,so i did out of despiration and i looking for a bit of distraction to alleviate my pain.
i was asked to hang on as she was attending to some other callers,nairalanders,i was on the phone for almost 30mins,till she came n asked if iwas a yoruba girl,i said yes and she asked me to go and buy some herbs "eru,eposhapo and kafura or kanfuru,cook it for thirty mins and drink.
To cut the long story shorrt,i gave the recipe to everybody that i no that suffers from dysmenorrhea.
here i am today dooing the same.pls whoever knows her should thank her for me.

well, I tried to do that but because I graduated with a 2:2,its not an option that is favourable for me and the diploma programme is in line with what I studied at my previous university.
