P square, simply the best. Quality and top notch hits over the decades, many have come and gone, but the duo are still up there and as relevant as air.

Hmm.
Ekwremmadu only gave a condensed form of Igbo stance on Nigeria unity. Here is the full stance: http://www.igbofocus.co.uk/Ohanaeze/OHE2/ohe2.html

I have noticed most of your posts are malnurished intelligently. U sound more like a student.

Physiotherapy remain one of the most satisfying profession in the world. CNN best jobs places the profession within the first five, 2011, 2012, 2013 back to back.
Years back it used to be second choice for many in universities for lack of adequate info about the profession. Today physio finds first choice of discipline for many obvious reasons. Home or abroad physio makes u a winner of all times.

I find it hard to see any relation between my reply to the guy and this your silly post.

The importance and relevance of Physiotherapy was never my interest,as that cannot be questioned.

My post laid more emphasis on a physiotherapist remaining and functioning as a physiotherapist and not seeking to be seen and treated as a Doctor, as that can only lead to confusion.

I hope u re aware dt d medical lab scientists re already pushing for d BMLS degree to be changed to DMLS (Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science).

Do you blame them. When Optometrists no longer want a B.sc in Optometry but are now wasting six years in the university just to change their normal B.sc cert of 4years to O.D( doctor of Optometry).

Every one wants to answer a Doctor by fire and by force, yet none want to make the sacrifices required to be deemed fit enough to be admitted into an MBBS programme. Bunch of charlatans!

maasoap: My God! What is wrong with these people? Do you want everybody in faculty of health to study medicine? Who told you he wasn't happy being who he is? Okay, let me tell you this: doctors in Nigeria are among highest paid government workers, yet happiness and contentment elude them as far as money is concerned. It has never been enough for them and I don't think it will ever be. That's why you see them working and chasing the money all around.

We don't want everybody to study MBBS. We want everybody that didn't study MBBS to stop trying to be treated like those with MBBS. Just like we wouldn't want to see Councillors trying to be 'his excellency'.

All fingers are not equal, there can only be one captain in a ship, once JOHESU understands this, peace will reign.

pfijacobs: I'm a final year physiotherapist in the college of medicine university of lagos.. I stay in a room with 4 mbbs final year students amd I must say.. The bias to the oda sectors even @ an undergraduate level is too much. This goes to show that d level of moral decadence, prejudice and pride in these doctors is too much.. To get total and optimum medical care, u nid all aspects of the health team to contribute immensely and efficiently for d best medical performance. Imagine a stdt here telling us that they shud b given 2 man rooms dat d rest should go and look for somewhere else here.. Its outrageous.from d onset, dey believe dat dey are better and as such, prejudiced to ALWAYS be in top consideration for any form of medical consideration for profit only.. Der are physios who finished skuling before some consultants bought jamb form... There was even a day I was writing my clinical exam and I had my steth on and a.Dr friend was like 'dude go and pull dat steth jor and stop decieving people dat u r a doctor' I was like wtf? D steth is to check oscultations of d heart and not a title landmark for a Drs decoration. Enlightment is d key. They should go out.. See d way things are done outside and emulate d peace, serenity and cohesion dat exists between us as medical practitioners.. Its not our fault dat we are called doctors by d public. And very soon by the grace of God, wen the Doctors of physio, pharmacy bill are passed, and wen now started running d same 6 year parole wit dem, ehen dey will calm down.. But please let's strike for important tins.. Dis is a form of racism we so madly hate. Nobody likes to be trampled upon. So I dnt blame johesu. Make ur demands and don't counter anova person's own I'm not on anybody's side tho. I just feel I shud say dis...heck I even have an exam now sef....LONG LIVE. JOHESU!!! LONG LIVE NMA!!!! More patients, more money, more peace and prosperity... #united nigeria...

Dr.pfijacobs

You represent everything wrong with JOHESU. You are too emotional and greedy and lazy. You are not a medic, but you want to see yourself as an equal to medics and be treated as a medic, you want to reap where you didn't sow.

Don't you know that all fingers can never be equal? You were too impatient to wait and gain admission into an MBBS programme, you rushed into physiotherapy and now you wonder why you are not being treated like a medic.

Your case is like that of a councillor wondering why he is not treated like a Governor, why he isn't addressed as 'his excellency', why the Governor should look down on him. He and the Governor should be equal and addressed as 'his excellency' he reasoned, after all they were both democratically elected by the people, and passed through the same stress of campaigning and election.

He conveniently forgot the fact that he had the choice of picking a form for the post of the Governor, he knew the roles and powers a Governor wields over a councillor, but he still chose to be a Councillor anyway, hoping to be a Councillor, and still somehow get to be treated as the Governor. And when this doesn't happen he gets emotional, paints the Governor as a dictator who looks down on him, who doesn't want his progress.

Let residents start earning lower than Pharmacists, Nurses and Scientists as is obtainable abroad.

Go to the links in my previous posts and verify.

Residents should start earning lower than Nurses,Pharmacists and scientists in the hospital?

Now i know these JOHESU people have lost it. Haha!

Which eye doctors? Hope you are not refering to the opticians called optometrists.

Ophthalmologists are eye doctors, and they are on strike too,as they are medical doctors.

phantomm: nobody in healthcare works as hard as the doctor yet we are demons in the eyes of nigerians. surgery and O&G residents do weekend calls meaning that if you are on call that weekend you will sleep over from friday to monday morning.you dare not leave that hospital or you are in trouble.
the nurses run shifts.one comes in morning and leaves by 2pm.another comes by 2pm and stays till 8pm.yet another comes and sleeps till morning.they are not allowed to give IV drugs.they administer oral drugs, dress wounds, make beds.these days they no longer clean urine or feaces(patient relations do that now).they feed unconscious patients through NG tubes. thats basically it! they seat, gossip and grow fat on the job while the little doctor(house officer ) does the grunt work. he runs around for blood, goes to lab chasing samples.he gives intravenous drugs. is called up many times a night to attend to patients..please nigerians how do you put both professionals on the same pedestalhow

Thanks.

godstino: why are you talking as if becoming a doctor is the ultimate thing in the world? it's high time you respect other people's proffession and career choices..you think you are more intelligent than those in other courses?..meanwhile before you attack me and tell me how i failed jamb, have it in mind that am a medical student like you but humility is the key..

Don't know what you are talking about. I never said anything about becoming a medical doctor being the ultimate in life.

segunaremu6@gma:
i like Keshi alot... i think hes the best local coach we av at the moment
but he has to get some things right.....the mere fact that Nigeria won the AFCON was not his making alone......a lot of credit must go to the NFF for providing the team with the necessary arrangements needed to be successful.....when a team is not doing well the coach and the administrators take the blame and when they are doing well....they should also take the credit togeda......but Keshi's attitude is unbecoming....
no one forced him into coming to coach Nigeria.....and he has an Ex footballer should have known better that no one takes that hot seat and expect to all a smooth ride,,,, not after what the fans did to their favorite Samson Saisia........160 million Nigerians are coaches and they are passionate.....they have the right to their opinion......from his past experience ....he knows we are not patient and even when building a team for the future...nigerians still expect you to win and play good football......

because he took Nigeria to the second round and becoming the first black coach to achieve that....and the noise from southafrica does not mean he is above the NFF or we will continue to beg him each time he wants to quit......

my take is if truly he wants to quit the National team.....then Mr President should not come in and stop him this time around.....let him go....Nigeria will not die....Renard took Zambia to win the AFCON in 2012 and what has he achieved since leaving the post....he went to socheaux in France and instead of taken them out of relegation in January took out of Ligue 1....

.one of the downfall of Renard in Zambia was that the first team could easily be predicted and no new faces were injected ..so people studied dem and dey didnt pass the first round in the next AFCON....Nigeria is fast becoming like Zambia....Onazi out and we lost ..no worthy replacement.....Ogbogbona, Echejile etc.....if Vincent retires now....who steps in....Keshi in great now but he should strive to be greater and what will make him greater is his ability to rise above critics and perform...

look at Shehata of Egypt from 2006-2010 built arguably one of the best team of the century.....he was focused to make a point that each AFCON was not a fluke and he will forever be adored.he was critised but held on.......so if Keshi wants to leave let him leave

Go to south africa Keshi....where they have the Money and structure but no talents......the dream of every player from south african is to play for Orlando Pirate or Kaiser Chiefs....what a shame.....Nigeria has better players.....go and coach them and lets see who will perform better .....Goodluck......

as for NFF....its time to go aboard again......get a coach that is ready to come and live in nigeria and work....we dont need a big name that will be above control..or want to coach from europe....Keshi has shone that if u give the local boys chance all others will sit up and not arrive later to camp or show any indiscipline.....get a Claude de roy, Phillip trousseir or Haver Renard who will stay in tune with the local coaches in nigeria...
ENOUGH OF BEGGING.....WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENNED IF KESHI HAS REACHED THE QUARTER FINALS........
goodluck NFF....

Trash!

Yea, but Nurses remain indispensible, hence their excess can be tolerated. Nothing in the curriculum of medical school prepared doctors for the work of Nurses, i mean, Medics don't take any NSC course in the medical school.

But,medics do take Radiology,Pharmacology,Pathology,Medical biochemistry and Microbiology.

Can u listen to yourself and see how backward ur comment sound. In 21st century u don't need the service of a pharmacist, physio, lab sci, optometrist in modern day hospital and clinics. Western countries need these professionals badly in their hospital and clinics. A so called physicians who should know saying they are not required. Nigeria is in real mess.

Well, nobody ever said they are not needed. Just reminding them that they are not indispensible. So, they should not overestimate their importance to clinicians.

Even if you are so du. mb, you should have atleast read Dora's (nafdac) profile

Haha! E dey pain you? Ndo.

I am not the one that denied you admission into an MBBS programme, if you were a little bit brighter, perhaps you would have gotten admitted, even if it were by your favourite 'mushroom' medical school.
