Muslim migrants are converting to Christianity in their droves in the hope it will greatly improve their chances of winning asylum in Germany.

Germany expected about 2,500 refugees to arrive in the country by early afternoon today after some 20,000 came in over the weekend.
Chancellor Angela Merkel today described the influx as 'breathtaking' and said it would change the make-up of country forever.
She said: 'What we are experiencing now is something that will occupy and change our country in coming years.'
She said Germany will ensure that those who need protection receive it, but that those who stand no chance of getting asylum will have to return to their homes swiftly.

MUSLIM MIGRANTS ECHO 'SOUPERS' FROM THE IRISH POTATO FAMINE
The move by Muslim migrants to convert to Christianity has echoes of the tactics used by desperate Catholics during the Irish potato famine.
After the disaster struck in 1845, some Protestant societies and charities running soup kitchens agreed to feed people on the condition they converted from Catholicism.
Forced to choose between starvation and religion, some did change faith, although perhaps without much conviction.
As a result, they were known as 'soupers' – a derogatory term sometimes applied to whole families for generations afterwards.
It is still used occasionally today to describe a person who 'sells out'.
Martens recognises that some convert in order to improve their chances of staying in Germany – but for the pastor motivation is unimportant.
Many, he said, are so taken by the Christian message that it changes their lives. And he estimates that only about 10 per cent of converts do not return to church after christening.
'I know there are – again and again – people coming here because they have some kind of hope regarding their asylum,' Martens said.
'I am inviting them to join us because I know that whoever comes here will not be left unchanged.'
Being Christian alone does not help an applicant – and Chancellor Angela Merkel went out of her way this week to reiterate that Islam 'belongs in Germany.'
But in Afghanistan and Iran, for example, conversion to Christianity by a Muslim could be punished by death or imprisonment and it is therefore unlikely that Germany would deport converted Iranian and Afghan refugees back home.
None will openly admit to converting in order to help their asylum chances.
To do so could result in rejection of their asylum bid and deportation as Christian converts.
Several candidates for baptism at Martens's church would not give their names out of fear of repercussions for their families back home.
Most said their decision was based on belief, but one young Iranian woman said she was convinced most people had joined the church only to improve their chances for asylum.

Congregation member Vesam Heydari initially applied for asylum in Norway and converted there in 2009.
But his case was rejected because the Norwegian authorities did not believe he would be persecuted as a Christian in Iran, so he moved to Germany to seek refugee status here – and is awaiting a decision.
He criticised many of the other Iranian church members, saying they were making it much harder for 'real, persecuted Christians' like himself to get approved for asylum.
'The majority of Iranians here are not converting out of belief,' Heydari said. 'They only want to stay in Germany.'
Meanwhile, as other churches across Germany struggle with dwindling numbers of believers, Martens has seen his congregation swell from 150 just two years to more than 600 parishioners now – with a seemingly unending flow of new refugees finding the way to his congregation.
Some come from cities as far away as Rostock on the Baltic Sea, having found out by word-of-mouth that Martens not only baptises Muslims after a three-month 'crash course' in Christianity, but also helps them with asylum pleas.
Other Christian communities across Germany, among them Lutheran churches in Hannover and the Rhineland, have also reported growing numbers of Iranians converting to Christendom.
There are no exact numbers on how many Muslims have converted in Germany in recent years – and they are a tiny minority compared to the country's overall four million Muslims.
But at least for Berlin, Martens describes the number of conversions as nothing short of a 'miracle'.
And he says he has at least another 80 people – mostly refugees from Iran and a few Afghans –waiting to be baptised.
Germany is witnessing an unprecedented surge of asylum-seekers this year, with the number of migrants expected to reach 800,000 this year, a fourfold increase on last year.

While refugees from civil-war-torn Syria will almost definitely be receiving asylum status, the situation is more complicated for asylum seekers from Iran or Afghanistan, which are seen as more stable.
In recent years, roughly 40-50 percent from those two countries have been allowed to stay in the country, with many of those getting only temporary permission to remain.
Germany's Federal Office for Migration and Refugees said it does not comment on the reasons individual applicants give when they apply for asylum, or on how many people receive refugee status in Germany based on religious persecution.
Zonoobi, who dressed all in white for his baptism on Sunday, said he had attended secret religious services in Iran ever since friends introduced him to the Bible at age 18.
He decided to flee to Germany after several Christian friends were arrested for practicing their religion.
For Zonoobi and his wife Afsaneh – who since her baptism goes by the name of Katarina – the christening marks a new beginning.
'Now we are free and can be ourselves,' she said.
'Most important, I am so happy that our children will have a good future here and can get a good education in Germany.'

Jihad is one of the most misunderstood, and abused aspects of Islam. There are some Muslims who exploit and misuse this concept for their own political objectives. There are many non-Muslims who misunderstand it. There are some non-Muslims who misinterpret it to discredit Islam and Muslims.

What is Jihad?

 The word Jihad does not mean “Holy War”. It means “struggle” or “striving”. The word for war in the Qur’an is “Harb” or “Qital”. Jihad means serious and sincere struggle on the personal as well as on the social level. It is a struggle to do good and to remove injustice, oppression and evil from the society. This struggle should be spiritual as well as social, economic and political. Jihad is to work hard to do right things. In the Qur’an this word is used in its different forms 33 times. It often comes with other Qur’anic concepts such as faith, repentance, righteous deeds and migration.

Jihad is to protect one’s faith and one’s human rights. Jihad is not a war always although it can take the form of war. Islam is the religion of peace, but it does not mean that Islam accepts oppression. Islam teaches that one should do one’s utmost to eliminate tension and conflict. Islam promotes non-violent means to bring change and reform. Actually, Islam urges that one should eliminate evil through peaceful means without the use of force as much as possible. In Islamic history from the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until now, Muslims most of the time resisted oppression and struggled for liberation in non-violent and peaceful manners.

Islam teaches proper ethics in the situation of war also. The war is permissible in Islam, but only when other peaceful means such as dialogue, negotiations and treaties fail. It is a last resort and should be avoided as much as possible. Its purpose is not to convert people by force, or to colonize people or to acquire land or wealth or for self-glory. Its purpose is basically: defense of life, property, land, honor and freedom for oneself as well as defense of others from injustice and oppression.

The basic rules of war in Islam are:

 1. Be strong so that your enemy fear you and should not attack you.

2. Do not begin the hostilities. Work for peace as much as possible.

3. Fight only those who fight, no collective punishment; non-combatants should not be harmed. Weapons of mass destruction should not be used.

4. Stop hostilities as soon as the other party is inclined to peace.

5. Observe the treaties and agreements as long as the enemy observes them.

Allah says very clearly: (Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not do aggression, for Allah loves not the aggressors.) (Al-Baqarah 2: 190)

(The prohibited month, for the prohibited month, and so for all things prohibited, there is the law of equality. If then any one transgresses the prohibition against you, transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah, and know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.) (Al-Baqarah 2: 194)

Jihad is not terrorism:

 It is to be emphasized that terrorism against the innocent civilians, whether through aggression or suicidal means, is under no circumstances permissible in Islam. Islam encourages the oppressed people to struggle for their liberation and it commands other Muslims to help those who are oppressed and suffering, but Islam does not allow, under any circumstance, terrorism against non-combatants and innocent people. Terrorism is not Jihad, it is Fasad (mischief). It is against the teachings of Islam. There are some people who use their twisted arguments to justify terrorism for their causes, but it has no justification: Allah says: (When it is said to them: 'Make not mischief on the earth,' they say: 'Why, we only want to correct things.' Indeed they are the mischief doers, but they realize (it) not.) (Al-Baqarah 2: 11-12)

Islam wants to establish a world order where all human beings - Muslims and non-Muslims - can live with justice in peace, harmony and good will. It gives its followers full guidelines to find peace in their personal and social lives, but it also tells them how to extend the good will on the basis of human relations towards others. Muslims worked under these principles for centuries. People of many faiths lived with them and among them. Islamic societies were known for their tolerance, generosity and humanity.

In our modern society where we are living in a global village, where non-Muslims are living with Muslims in the Muslim countries and Muslims are living with non-Muslims in countries where non-Muslims constitute a majority, it is our duty to bring better understanding among ourselves, work for peace and justice for all people and cooperate with each other in matters of goodness and virtue in order to stop all terrorism, aggression and violence against the innocent people. This is our Jihad today.

For the record, my name is Walid Shoebat. I used to be a radicalized Muslim willing to die for the cause of Jihad until I converted to Christianity in 1994. As a member of the PLO I was involved in terror activity, and was imprisoned in Jerusalem for three weeks. In prison, I was recruited to plant a bomb in Bethlehem as a result of which, thank God, no one was injured. My mother was an American and my father a Palestinian Arab. My parents sent me in 1978 to the United States to study at Loop College in Chicago Illinois. There I was recruited at a hotel “Terror Conference” by Jamal Said, a founder of the IAP (Islamic Association of Palestine) and Imam at one of the largest mosques in Chicago. The IAP was a forerunner to today’s Hamas terror organization and also to the terror front group CAIR (Council for American Islamic relations). This was in the early 1980s when I was being trained for Jihad activities in the USA along with many other young foreigners as well as US citizens. The Imams were the prime recruiters for terrorism then as they are still today and terror conferences are held all over the USA to this day. Today, Jamal Said is still the Imam of the Bridgeview Mosque in Chicago. Based on my eye witness testimony, he supports terrorism and and is a major player in the operations of the Jihadi movements in the USA – yet he is still free at large. Our policy which places Al-Qaeda as the number one threat is an incorrect premise. All Islamist organizations should be a priority beginning with CAIR and ISNA (Islamic Association of North America). These, along with the MSA (Muslim Students Association), promote the Jihad terror agenda and are responsible for spreading Radical Islam. The US University campuses are a major recruiting ground for terrorists.

All terrorists are radicalized through undue influence by Islamist organizations beginning with their local Mosque as well as from abroad. The US home grown terrorists Zazi and Shahzad traveled to Qatar and Pakistan in August 2008 in an attempt to reach Afghanistan. They intended to “conduct Jihad against America [the] Occupier,” they said.

We need to stop recognizing the legitimacy of Muslim pressure groups. We must understand that these so-called moderate Muslims have been proven as misrepresenting themselves to the media and the public. They are part and parcel of the Muslim Brotherhood apparatus to distract the public and mislead people on the issues of the Radical Muslim agenda.

Imam Rauf, who has been given a significant level of respect by our government, is a supporter of terrorism. He made the follwing statement in Arabic: “People asked me right after the 9/11 attacks as to why movements with political agendas carry [Islamic] religious names. Why call it ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ or ‘Hezbollah (Party of Allah)’ or ‘Hamas’ or ‘Islamic Resistance Movement’? I answer them this — that the trend towards Islamic Law and Justice begins in religious movements, because secularism has failed to deliver what the Muslim wants, which is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Imam Rauf also said, “The only law that the Muslim needs exists already in the Koran and the Hadith.” From an article titled “Sharing The Essence Of Our Beliefs” by Feisal Abdul Rauf, Al-Ghad Newspaper in Jordan, 5/9/2009 http://www.alghad.com/?article=12635.

While we can assume that Feisal Abdul Rauf will not participate in an explosive act, he sure supports organizations that trend towards what he calls “Islamic Law and Justice.” His words are more encouraging to the terrorists than they are to seeking a bridge to peace and harmony between Muslims and Non-Muslims in the US. The rhetoric of Islamic leaders in the Arabic language needs to be closely monitored, as it can identify them as fomenters of hate and terrorist recruiters.

Mainstream Muslim organizations that purport to act in the interests of our nation as loyal citizens are beyond a doubt, doing quite the opposite. Statements worse than those of Imam Rauf, including direct financial and moral support to Islamic terrorists, have been carried out by members of all the major Islamic organizations in America and are the purveyors of radicalism.

Ghassan Elashi of CAIR is serving 65-year prison sentence for funneling over 12 million dollars from the Holy Land Foundation to Hamas. Mousa Abu Marzook, a former CAIR official, was designated in 1995 by the U.S. government as a “terrorist and Hamas leader.” He now is a Hamas leader in Syria. Randall Royer, CAIR’s former civil rights coordinator, began serving a 20-year prison sentence in 2004 for aiding Al-Qaeda and the Taliban against American troops in Afghanistan as well as recruiting for Lashkar e-Taiba, the jihadist group responsible for the 2008 Jihad massacres in Mumbai. Bassem Khafagi, CAIR’s former community relations director, was arrested for involvement with the Islamic Assembly of North America, which was linked to Al-Qaeda. After pleading guilty to visa and bank fraud charges, Khafagi was deported. Rabih Haddad, a former CAIR fundraiser, was deported for his work with the Global Relief Foundation (which he co-founded), a terror-financing organization.

The number one radical Islamic organization in the USA is CAIR, which needs to be probed and shut down for sponsoring terror. Many peace-loving Muslims do support a probe of CAIR and the other major Islamic organizations. Those who don’t are likely supporting the radical agenda. While the terrorists’ goal is to spread Sharia, the Islamist political agenda creates radical Muslims, both of which have a goal to threaten our Constitution and replace it with Sharia law. Both act simultaneously to eradicate our way of life.

A lot of beneficial projects have been canceled because of religion of violencr. I know like 3 guys who were supposed to be on an Ericsson wind farm project that was canceled in the north all because of this reglion. Africa is already 100 years backward this religion will just make that million yrs
