Politics / Re: Boko Haram Kills Another 25 Soldiers In Gambur Town, Borno State by wafersoc: 8:53am On Dec 02, 2018 |
There is a divide and rule strategy devised to divide the people of the SS and SE. There is this fear about biafra and it stems from the fact that the area is too blessed abundantly with oil and gas, minerals and best and best of it all, HUMAN RESOURCE, Add all of these together and you'll have a country that will become a first world developed country in 20 yrs. This scares them, so they devise means of dividing the populace on social media by brandishing igbo/efik/ibibio/ijaw/annang/igala names to force people to believe an average igbo man is evil, who only wants nigerdelta oil to himself yet they killed boro and saro wiwa. After the war, they started their agenda by taking all our money and giving every igbo man 20 pounds, carrying out massive propaganda which deceived our igbo brothers in rivers to buy our properties cheaply which was tagged abandoned by the FG, this led to infighting and the division that we see today, if you are blessed with critical thinking, you'd ask why was abandoned property rampant in port harcourt alone? 30 years after, the same igbos they ganged up against to subjugate have taken over the economy, because of the love and republican nature of the igbos, we have forgiven all our eastern brothers who fought against us, and today the eastern ethnic groups of Nigeria have the highest self made millionaires , highest educated group with the biggest middle class cluster than any other region of the country. Remember kanu said the FG asked he take the igbo states alone... it shows how scared the north and southwest are of the igbos and will do anything to keep them down or better still cut them off and bring the igbos to their mercy. If these things I've come to notice aren't true, then why do the average yoruba man run to every biafra topic/news/post/article/webcast to derail it? Why did they support the killings of unarmed igbos by soldiers because they happen to be ipob members? . Why have they turned a blind eye to the systematic marginalization of the igbos? . Why have the ports in the east been moribund since the end of the war and yet no Yoruba man has even fought to save other ports of the southern region? . Why did the yorubas demand derivation from her seaport, and is still fighting to add more yet claiming they are trying to decongest lagos but cunningly choose to site another seaport in ibeju lekki to attract igbos to settle and develop ogun state. they hope to replicate the "igbo lagos effect" in ogun state. But the seaports in the eastern half have been systematically kept unusable due to the fear of Biafra. . The Igbos fought for the mid-west to become a region which irked the SW. So i ask, if the igbos don't stand up for their brothers in the SS, Who will? We believe in LIVE AND LET LIVE and our culture and republican nature has proven it time and time again, we hold on to our words but can same be said of the yorubas? If i may ask, Why have the Yoruba man decided to make 2023 a time for their own presidency, Starting from tinubu, to fashola and ogundamisi urging Yoruba populace to vote so as to win 2023 seat, forgetting that the nation's unity is miraculously sitting on a cotton string and an igbo presidency will do a lot to save this dying unity? Do they actually care about the Nigerian project or are they only bothered about their ethnic's interest? . During the declaration of no victor no vanquished, why was the 3Rs started in LAGOS? Was the war fought in Lagos? it was fought in the east and up to today, nothing has been done about it, the eastern development commission bill was systematically stopped and yet there have been Northern Nigeria development commission since the 1970s, and now the recent North eastern development commission due to Boko Haram, but the east that was practically ravaged by cluster bombs have not been granted any development commission. The recent request to grant lagos special status will be effected soon, where does that leave the eastern region that was ravaged by cluster bombs and deliberate destruction of properties? . the second Niger bridge was initiated around the same time as the second river benue bridge, and approximately five years after the river benue bridge was built, the river Niger bridge hasn't been built yet . To My Yoruba brothers You may think we don't noticed all these things that you yorubas do, the cunny acts, the backbitting, the eye service, the envy, the jealousy.. WE DO! But a time will come when things will become clearer to everyone who has fought to bring the Igbos and her cousins down. If i may ask, the south west states, in terms of internal infrastructure, how are you coping, i mean have the average ibadan man contributed to his hometown, like building a house or renovating his fathers house to a standard home? if yes, how rampant is it? there is a reason why south western states except Lagos are rural in nature? i will answer this question... the average Yoruba man loves ready made things and is not concerned with how those things were made, an example is the recent TEDx talk about igbo apprenticeship system, you needed to see how so many yorubas applauded the system and urged the federal government to study and implement it but if you remember they tagged us ritualist, they claimed we love money more than ourselves and this believe stems from the fact that wealth is very well spread in igboland due to this system. But our yoruba brothers, rather than learn, out of envy and jealousy, they mocked us, hounded us, called us names, called us the reason why Nigeria is bad due to our drug peddling and ritual killings, Now a white researcher studied the system and preaches to the world to implement it, our yoruba brothers have suddenly become good neighbors who love the igbo apprenticeship system....... THEY ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR READY MADE THINGS. The average yoruba man hardly helps his brother and if he happens to be the only rich person, he will prefer to remain so to retain his OLOWO-ship, A yoruba man does not go back home to make it better after making money, he will rather buy a house in lagos and forget his hometown because he feels it is filled with poor wretched people living in an environment below his taste. and to add, the diabolic act of tapping people's glory and causing stagnancy in a particular area is rampant in the southwest....So tell me how will things change economically for them? IF THINGS CONTINUE LIKE THIS, JUST KNOW THAT THE NEW GENERATION OF ELITES FROM THE EAST COMING INTO POWER WILL MAKE SURE BIAFRA IS ACHIEVED. To be honest i'm not surprised, Onitsha has been a bustling city, the lack of accurate census due to political reasons have made Nigerians focus on cities with fake population stats. The report is right on track, Something has to be done before onitsha becomes the new congested Lagos 9 Likes 2 Shares |

it is obvious there is a hate-fueled rivalry and a desire to make sure that the igbos do worse than they do. Meaning if they achieve this, they must achieve something else just to match up with the igbos, which is Good, but when healthy rivalry starts becoming a war to put an ethnic group down for fears of domination, then do you expect the new generation igbos to keep quiet and condone such? Whenever igbos talk of their achievements, they're always accused of "chest-beating". but it is okay for others to constantly talk and marginalize the igbos and also tag them the problems of Nigeria. Some Yorubas, not all but most, don't want the igbos to go out of fear that they might turn out greater than oduduwa forgetting that the yorubas are one of the most dynamic ethnic groups in africa. So what exactly is the issue? Most of the thread, topics, articles, automated voice videos to refute phillip emeagwali's achievements are mostly done by yoruba nairalanders/SM even after bill clinton praised his achievements in USA. WHY THE HATE AND FAKE LOVE? WHY!!! Will Nigeria continue holding this people back for fear of domination when other countries are making technological strides? I'm sick of this UNITY...it is too fake! 11 Likes 2 Shares |

wizzakosh: Was it the igbos that wrote the recommended report? Was it the igbos that sent delegations in 1840 to investigate the igbos? Was it the igbos that forced the Israeli government to form a committee for igbos and other Jews in diaspora? Lastly why are you mad at the report and making use of the boded phrase? because i'm trying to understand how they are attaching themselves by force even when it is clear this committee was formed by the Israeli government? If i may ask again.... why're you angry, jealous, Envious and Frustrated or is it that you just don't see anything good in igbos (even if in this particular case there is nothing to gain from it other than unwarranted attacks from hardcore Islamist since they have Jewish heritage)? i'm amazed and @ the same time angry that everything igbo always get derailed by some yoruba nairalanders, it is sickening!!! 9 Likes 1 Share |

The news emanating from the ipob camp about Israel's support is becoming clearer after reading this 2017 Israeli Government report. Remember the mention of biafra by nethanyahu during the 2017 holocaust remembrance day? Remember the claims of kanu being helped by mossad? Remember the Israeli ambassador denying kanu's presence in israel but was later confirmed to be true corroborating claims by ipob that kanu has been granted protective status Remember Israel's donation of 5million dollars to the opening of radio biafra in jerusalem? it has now opened and was confirmed by an israeli citizen Naomi litvin. it only leaves one wondering what might happen if there should be another pogrom in the north. I fear for the hidden plans in the books of ipob and Israel. Does the Nigerian government know of this threat or understand the magnanimity of this problem? 32 Likes 5 Shares |

There is an ongoing Government research on the Jewish diasporas that will bring israel and her diaspora closer. i read this >>> Report of the Public Advisory Committee for Examining Israel’s Approach Regarding Worldwide Communities with Affinity to the Jewish People on the isreali Ministry of disaporan affairs government's website. http://www.mda.gov.il/antisemitism/documents/eng200818.pdf The igbos are considered by the Israelis as the major Jewish group in Africa. but because of certain hurdles and the fear of them being major targets in Nigeria, research has been done at a slow pace albeit being the most researched African Jewish group. Excerpts below. In recent years, there has been a growing awakening of various groups with affinity to the Jewish people or to Israel, even though they are neither Jews, nor are they entitled to the Law of Return. This is a fascinating trend with strategic potential for the Jewish people and the State of Israel, since these are tens of millions of people who can constitute circles of contacts, affinity and support for the Jewish people and the State of Israel. The existence of these groups and their desire for a contact with the Jewish people raised the need to investigate the phenomenon and formulate operative recommendations pertaining to the State of Israel’s treatment of this phenomenon, as well as thinking about the attitude of the Jewish people in the Diaspora towards these groups. As a rule, we do not have a distinct category to which they can be associated, having the Law of Return on the one hand, and the Entry into Israel Law on the other. That is why I have established a public advisory committee that will be tasked with examining the matter comprehensively and in a far-sighted manner, and with clarifying both the factual aspects of the existence of these communities as well as the possible long-term implications for any policy that will be formulated regarding them. The committee is also required to formulate policy recommendations to the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs in order to lead their implementation within the government of Israel and among the Jewish people. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Daniel Lees, Basel University, Switzerland, researcher of Jews and Judaized Africans, mainly the Igbos: Lees has been studying the Igbo tribe (also called Ibo) since 2006 when he traveled to Nigeria and found four substantial communities of Judaized Igbos. Since then some of the communities have split and new ones created. The Igbo is an ethnic group numbering about 30 million members and is concentrated mostly in South-Western Nigeria, but its members are also scattered in other regions. Owing to the slave trade, some of the blacks in the USA and in the Caribbean are descendants of the Igbo. In recent decades many Igbos emigrated to Europe. Almost all Igbos hold the belief that they are of Jewish descent. The Igbos today are Christians, but even a minority of Igbos who remained faithful to their pre-Christian pagan religion believe in their Jewish origin. Dr. Lees’ impression is that the belief in Jewish origin does not stem from economic motives, since the 20,000 Igbos currently living in Switzerland who hold to this belief do not benefit from it at all. Judaized Igbos currently number several thousand at most. The Igbo’s belief in their Jewish descent is nothing new, as early as 1840, when a British scientific delegation went out to research the Igbo tribes, the Chief Rabbis of London sent with them a letter of inquiry to the Igbo tribesmen, under the assumption they were of Jewish origin. Early 1840, Olaudah Equiano, a freed slave who became one of the first and most prominent spokesmen for the rights of colored people, authored a book which noted the many parallels he had found between beliefs and customs of the Igbo tribesmen and those of the Jews. In 1840, when a British scientific delegation set out to research the Igbo tribes, the Chief Rabbis of London sent a letter of inquiry with them to the Igbo tribesmen, under the assumption they were of Jewish origin. It would be advisable to establish an Igbo research and study center, send representatives from Israel to regularly meet these groups, and invite representatives of communities like this one to activities organized by Israeli embassies. .. Mr. Danny Limor, who was active in bringing Ethiopian Jews to Israel via Sudan, and directed a study program about immigration: Limor is mainly active in helping the Igbo communities in Nigeria interested in converting, and also other groups like the Lemba in South Africa. He visited Nigeria several times, accessing communities with an active synagogue run by Igbo tribesmen. He estimates some 10-15 communities total up to 5,000 people. The Igbos’ overt process of closer links to Judaism began about 50-60 years ago. Currently these communities include a generation born and wholly living according to a “Jewish” identity. “The people of the Igbo communities and similar groups are interested first and foremost in receiving an adequate Jewish education.” These communities’ main source of information regarding normative Judaism is the internet. Limor helped students from the community establish a Jewish student organization in Nigeria. He organized two weeks of intensive studies on Judaism and Israel for the youngsters of these communities, but this is just a drop in the ocean compared to what is really needed. The people of the Igbo communities are interested first and foremost in receiving an adequate Jewish education. It would be very helpful to establish a school or institute in Israel for Igbo communities and similar groups, allowing the communities’ youngsters specified study sessions offering meaningful materials about Judaism, Israel and leadership so that they can return to their countries and lead their communities. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The disregard and continued inaction vis-à-vis these communities may have devastating consequences for the future of Israel and the Jewish People, among them: the creation of parallel communities which will be recognized in various countries as Jewish but will have no relation to the Jewish People or the State of Israel, forming a parallel, alternative Judaism; distancing those whose Jewish identity is weakening; missing important opportunities in cultural, economic and informational levels among those who wish to draw nearer and be of help to Israel; creating antagonism among those who could be Israel’s best friends. . . . 10 Likes 4 Shares
