Religion / FALSIFIED TEACHINGS Of Christ — Judgement by Wakeupchristian: 3:24pm On Feb 04, 2020
My auntie needed to build a house but according to her she hadn't enough money to buy a land and build at the same time. Out of a large expanse of land owned by my mother, she requested for a small portion which my mother obliged without any suspicion. To our amazement, when she began to build she covered a wider portion than she was given. In a nutshell my auntie later used her societal influence and took the entire property from my mother. It would have been proper for my mother to fight for what rightly belonged to her but thankfully she knew how to let go. So we moved from the apartment we occupied on that land and became tenants to others.

What puzzled me in all this was the fact that my auntie was a dynamic member of a known Pentecostal Church in my State. She was so involved in the church that she was nicknamed after the church. With her level of involvement in the church, one would expect some noble acts from my auntie, but as long as she was in the church, she did not realize she wronged her sister. There was no single prick on her conscience. Many indeed are in church but not in Christ. Though an early teenager at the time, each time I pondered over this issue, I couldn't stop asking myself, "what is my auntie really learning from the church she is so engrossed with?" Many years passed and the situation remained the same. My auntie was still regular in church doing seemingly good things without remembering she had hurt somebody.

Then suddenly the unexpected happened. My auntie came running to my mother asking for her forgiveness. She even acquired another property for my mother as a way of restitution. What brought the sudden change of heart was a shock to us all. My auntie got introduced to a new religion! This religion was more emphatic on the principle of sowing and reaping. She then understood, that what she did to my mother will return to her in multiples, if she does not amend her ways. The result? My auntie abandoned the church for her new religion. To her, there was no truth in the church.

Did this woman really need to leave the church before getting to know the truth? Jesus Christ is the bringer of truth. He is the truth Himself. He said "I am the way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6).. The truth is therefore meant to be taught in the church, but sometimes we leave the weightier matters and attend to things that add no value to men's spiritual life. Sometimes we do this for fear of losing members that matter to us. We don't want to touch on issues that will hurt them. So we give them what they want to hear, not what they need. What happened to my auntie has happened to many other people, and may continue to happen if the church does not stop coating her messages with sugar. She felt as though a scale was removed from her eyes when she was taught in depth about the natural law of sowing and reaping.

The subject of sowing and reaping litters the scriptures, but we only mention it in passing. We don't give it the attention it deserves. Christ said with what measure you use, it shall be measured to you (Matthew 7:1). Paul added to this focus when he said, "whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7).

Today the prevailing message in church is, "Jesus loves you, He died for you, you are saved by grace not by your works ". Many Christians understand these statements in the wrong perspective. This is why they can still lie, steal, cheat, or even kill, and still feel comfortable being in church.

When it comes to the subject of judgment, the church has taught a great deal about an aspect of it, the judgment after life, but has neglected the crucial aspect, which is a determinant of men's fate in the afterlife. This aspect of Judgment is an existing judgment which takes place right here on earth. It is God's discipline to men and unfolds in the Law of Reciprocal Action, otherwise known as sowing and reaping. Everyone who lives on earth passes through this judgment. Your response to it is very crucial. Through it, you will either gain spiritual ascent and eternal life in the City of Light, or spiritual deterioration and descent to the regions of darkness.

The Law of Reciprocal Action is one of the laws of Creation. It operates the same way in every area of life, regardless of religion, color, or race. This law says, a man must reap what he sows (Galatians 6:7). The law unfolds in everything, particularly, the things we do wilfully. A farmer for example, who consciously sows a grain of maize, will in due season reap maize, not beans. He will reap about 2 or 3 heads of maize, each with many grains, not just a single grain as he planted. This natural occurrence with crops in the physical, affects the spiritual seeds we sow in our thoughts, words and deeds. We reap in multiples, and in similar kind, all that we think, say and do. That means, if you sow love, mercy, kindness, or forgiveness, multiples of the same will naturally flow back to you. And if you indulge in strife, hatred, malice, or vengeance, the same will return to you in multiples.

Why do we have to reap what we sow, someone may ask? In answering this question Paul said, "....so that we do not get finally condemned with the world" (1Corinthians 11:32). When we fall short of God's expectations and are disciplined, or made to bear the consequences of our actions, most times we stop to think. We want to know why certain things were allowed to happen to us. If we have eyes to see, we identity our faults and go for better choices. So the principle of sowing and reaping is a natural process that turns our attention back to God's will. It prepares us for the kingdom of God, and helps us to escape from the impending condemnation of the final judgment.

It is time Christians be told, that there is no forgiveness for wilful sin. What follows willful sin is judgment ( Hebrews 10:26-27). Every premeditated sin must be redeemed solely by the individual involved. Let's stop feeling protected in the illusion that the blood of Jesus will always cleanse us from our sins. Christ did not come so that men may become reckless. He brought the message of salvation so that we can absorb it and live by it. His last words at the cross were, "it is finished".

It is finished means, " I have accomplished my work of salvation, the rest is in your hands". Listen dear reader, the message of salvation has been delivered to you. It is your sole responsibility to get hold of it, absorb it and endeavor to live according to what it says. When you live according to the message of Christ, you sow the right seed and expect a harvest of blessing. But when you live against the message continually, you sow corrupt seeds. Corrupt seeds will yield to you a harvest of trials and distress.

Some of the trials and distresses we pass through are the echoes of our wilful actions. They are the things we called with our very hands. On a particular course of my dealings with a client of mine sometime, I bargained above the standard profit margin. Without hesitation the client made a direct payment to my account. Few weeks after I delivered the consignment, she called me to make another order. I became excited about the excessive profit I was about to make again, without knowing, that I was rejoicing in iniquity. As soon as I was done talking with her, a "gentle man" walked into my office, and while pretending to seek for help, made away with my cell phone. I had to use the excessive gain I made in the previous transaction to purchase another cell phone. I got the message that was being passed to me. Discipline. So I decided I will never push my profit above the margin again. That's the training.

If you can hear the voice of God's discipline in your ears, you will pause and think. You will acknowledge your faults and ask for mercy. If you are wise and obedient, you will break ties with sin and leave your wayward attitudes behind. Instead of running from pillar to post, calling fire to burn the "enemy" you created, you will learn to pray, Lord, thy will be done.

Many Christians are being careless and mistaken about the principle of sowing and reaping. They consciously sow corrupt seeds and expect bountiful harvest of blessings. They either do not believe the Word, or they think they will be exempted from it because they are in Church. These people are being deceived. While Creation remains, no man will mock God by changing even for once, this Law of harvest. It is the Law of life. All of God's judgment, and indeed the entire Universe depend on it

So where does the violent prayers come from?

How many violent prayers did Jesus and Paul made in the Bible?

Thanks a lot for your comment. I must say, that Jesus never prayed any violent prayer. He gave out a prayer model which reflects submission and humility. He is the ultimate example to the Christian.
On the other hand Paul, just like any other man, carelessly said something at a time, which was contrary to the teachings of Christ. " Alexander did me much evil, the Lord reward him" ( 2Timothy 4:14). But notice, that at this time Paul was yet gaining maturity in the Ministry. When he was fully mature, he realized his mistakes and admonished the brethren, " follow my examples as I follow Christ's examples" (1 Corinthians 11:1). Here Paul realized he was a man who was prone to mistakes. So he removed every responsibility of misdirection from himself by telling the Church to imitate him only in the things he perfectly imitated Christ.

God bless you for this reminder. I was once a believer in violent prayer until God opened my spiritual eye through His Word.
Those who pray for their enemies to die by fire don't really know their flesh is their own worst enemies, not the perceived witches and wizards. If they must get an answer from God, they must be ready to crucify their flesh with Christ - that's the only way to victory.
Thank you. May the Lord bless you and continue to enlighten your eyes of understanding in His word. May He help you to keep standing on the truth to the end.

One of the statements Christ made which has been recently falsified reads, "And from the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent takes it by force" (Matthew 11:12). Innocent Souls who go in search of spiritual help are made to feel comfortable praying violent prayers because of this. Bear this in mind! God is Love, and any teaching that violates the character of God, or produces men who wish to harm their fellow human beings, either in prayer or otherwise, is falsified.

Scripture passages are not meant to be taken in isolation. Every scripture must be read and understood in the context of the surrounding verses. Reading through the passage under review (Matthew Chapter 11), you will realize, that John the Baptist who came to bear witness for Christ, sometime doubted the One he testified of. This was the reason why he sent his disciples to Jesus, to inquire from Him if he was the Christ that was expected. Recall, that this same John was earlier convinced, that Jesus was the Christ. That was why he recognized Him as, "the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world" (John 1:29), and as the One he bore witness of (John 1:30). But when he was put in prison doubt crept into his heart and he had to send his disciples to question Jesus. Perhaps his trials played a role in this. John may have thought to himself, " if this Man is truly the One I testified of, why does He allow me to be put in this situation? "

Most Christians today are found in this situation. Its common to hear people say things like, "if God is truly God, why does He allow this, or that to happen?" With this state of mind, they sink into doubts, arguments and disobedience to Gods' Will. This is why Christians run from one church to another, praying against the will of God. This is saddening. If this people knew how to take the kingdom by force, the attack of the Darkness against them would naturally melt in the light of God's word and fall off.

Doubts, arguments, and sometimes, over concentration on life's trials, may hinder people from the truth and consequently from God's blessings and the eternal kingdom. Jesus knew, that with his lack of conviction about who He was, John was drifting towards losing the kingdom. That's why He said, "the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John" (Matthew 11:7)

"The kingdom of heaven suffers violence ", does not translate to physical violence, or a back-to-sender prayer, as many people think. It has to do with getting a hold on the word of God and doing what it says. You cannot have the kingdom without the Word. For you to ascend to the kingdom of Light, you have a responsibility to absorb the message of Christ, be convinced that it is the truth, and strive to living in accordance with it. Notice, that John was initially convinced that Jesus was the Christ, but he later lost that conviction. To stay on your conviction, you must consistently take in the Word and do what it says. When you are filled up with the Word, there will no room be found for doubts.

As a banker and a nursing mother many years back, I had a very tight schedule, but I had to take the kingdom by force. I did not allow my tight schedule to affect my spiritual growth, and did not allow my spiritual growth to weigh negatively on the job I was being paid for. So I had to strike a balance. Each day I woke up an hour before our family fellowship to study. At work I used a greater part of my break periods to get into the Word. I was violent in my Spirit. That is taking the kingdom by force.

If you are willing to receive it I can tell you, that if you absorb the Word, and endeavor to do what it says, the weight of the Darkness on you will naturally and gradually melt and fall off your life. You will not need to stress yourself unnecessarily praying against the enemy.

Whenever you stand to pray, pray according to the will of God, standing on the provisions of the Word and you will see everything fall into place. God is not a man to lie. Whatever He says in His word must come to pass.

Bro that depends on your condition ...if indeed you have suffered in the hands of witches/wizard you won't wait for anybody to Tell you to rise up and do whatever you can to save yourself ,God is still the one to answer the prayers

Is Psalm 35 not in your Bible? Have you never read it? .. what did Jesus mean when he say " From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it." ?
Thank you for your comment. I must say your question has already been answered in my post.
Psalm 35 in the bible is among the cursing Psalms David wrote out of desperation for help when king Saul and Absalom his son were trying to kill him. These Psalms express David"s feelings at the particular time he wrote them. But if you study your bible well, you will realize, that when eventually David had a golden opportunity to kill Saul, he spared his life. Also when Absalom, one of the enemies who caused David to write those Psalms died in a battle, David broke down in tears instead of jumping for joy. These responses of David show that he wrote the cursing Psalms out of desperation for help, not out of hatred for his enemies. He needed to learn to bridle his tongue in the time of pressure.
Besides David was a man, not the Christ we are to emulate. He made many mistakes in the course of his service. He committed adultery and manipulated battle positions to kill Uriah. I am sure you wouldn't want to commit adultery because David did.
Religion / FALSIFIED TEACHINGS Of Christ — Prayer by Wakeupchristian: 6:11pm On Jan 30, 2020
There are many in Church who earnestly seek the truth and think they are on course to it, but unknown to them, they are groping in darkness. They have a zeal and longing for what is pure but lack the knowledge of it. They emain in this situation not of their own accord, but because they are misguided. To such longing Souls is this message addressed.

One of the teachings of Christ that has been greatly falsified and used to misdirect men is the subject of Prayer. Christ taught effectively on Prayer and left a model for men to follow (Matthew 6:9-13). This prayer model which is known as The Lord's Prayer, contains various segments with loud and visible connotations. The first segment, "Our Father who art in heaven", affirms our recognition of the Almighty as our Father. To say the very words, "our Father" means that we sincerely and humbly submit to Him as children, asking Him to treat us in the same way a father does his children.

The second part, " hallowed be thy Name", is an assurance of sincere worship and reverence to God. Many Christians tell lies concerning this, for though they use the name of God carelessly and frivolously, they hurry through this prayer without a thought.

The words, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is done in Heaven", reveal our earnest desire and willingness to adapt to the Will of God, even as the Beings above do. The will of God is not separate from the truth and the truth of course lies in the Word which must be absorbed and lived out. It is only after expressing our pure desire to swing in line with God's Will, that our petitions should be presented. This is now when we can say, "give us this day, our daily bread.

In the Lord's Prayer we remind ourselves of the existing judgment which unfolds in the natural law of sowing and reaping. "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who trespass against us".This loudly rings, that if we desire forgiveness, we should sow it in people who offend us. You don't expect to be forgiven when you are killing those who wrong you in your daily prayers. A back-to-sender prayer is against the teachings of Christ. The words, "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil", is a sincere prayer against the manipulations of the Darkness. Everyone who lives on earth sure needs this prayer. The last part of the Lord's Prayer which says, " For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever", guides us to attest to God's dominion and sovereignty.

It is obvious, that what obtains in church today is the direct opposite of what Christ taught. The Church has abandoned the above Prayer Model for doctrines of men. Instead of encouraging forgiveness, they teach men to pray vengeance prayers. While the Lord wills that we all work for the development of each other, the church is busy working for the destruction of those they brand, "wicked". People are made to believe, that praying against the enemy is what brings solution to their predicaments. So when it comes to praying for the enemy to die, church buildings vibrate, and the resounding "amen", is at its peak. What an error! Desperation has driven men against the will of the Almighty.

Church leaders preach so admiringly about love and forgiveness, yet it is common to see them organize programs with themes like: " Operation fire for fire, back to sender, or die by fire". Where then lies the love and forgiveness they preach? Lucifer has blindfolded these leaders. He is aware, that by concealing the truth from them, he will not only lay a hold on them, but also on the multitudes that follow them.

Where does the twisted idea on prayer come from? Amazingly most Christians make reference to the scripture in Exodus 22:18, which reads, "Suffer not a witch to live". They regard this scripture as a death sentence on the wicked because they lack understanding of the Word.

We have to understand, that the Almighty deals with men in dispensations, according to their level of understanding. The scripture in Exodus chapter 22, and its parallel in Leviticus chapter 20, were given in the dispensation of the Law as punishment for Law offenders. These scriptures talk not only about punishment for the witch, but also for idol worshippers, disobedient children, adulterers, homosexuals, those who relate sexually with animals, Couples who relate sexually during the woman's monthly flows, etc. All these offenders were to be put to death in the dispensation of the Law.

But the Order has changed. We are now in a new dispensation, that of the Holy Spirit. There is room for repentance. Christ taught about forgiveness and repentance. He came to save men through His word, not to destroy them. The woman that was caught in the act of adultery deserved a death penalty under the Mosaic Law, but when she was brought to Jesus, He gave her a second chance (John 8:11).

Provided he is willing, every law offender now has a chance to repent. You have to understand, that as the Lord desires the salvation of the disobedient child, the adulterer, the homosexual, so does He desire the salvation of that hateful and resentful neighbor of yours, your colleagues at work, business clients, that occult grand master, the witch, the murderer, and the likes. Our wrong desire to destroy, cannot be placed over God's desire to save. The Order has changed.

In making reference to Luke chapter 18, a renowned Church leader said Jesus taught men to pray vengeance prayers. This is a misrepresentation of the scripture. Christ never taught men to pray vengeance prayers. Rather He taught them to love and pray for their enemies, to bless those who curse them, and to do good to those who hate them (Mathew 5:44-45). The account of Luke chapter18 is only a parable, a moral story that Christ used to teach about patience and persistence.

What does the event of the Lord's transfiguration teach? Lets observe the following striking features in this event (Matthew 27:1-5):
* Moses and Elijah appeared talking with Jesus.
* Peter then suggested the building of three tabernacles for the three prophets ( Jesus, Moses and Elijah).
* Suddenly a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud saying, "This is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased. Listen to him".

From the above account we learn that Christ is the Son of God and therefore different from every other prophet. Other prophets made remarkable impacts in the course of their calling, but in certain aspects they blundered. Jesus was complete in obedience to the Father. This is why he was the only One who made Him well pleased. He is therefore the One qualified to be our perfect example. This is the reason why the voice said, listen to Him

Listen to Him means, follow His examples and do exactly as He teaches you. Christians should be emulators of Christ not Moses, Elijah. David, etc. These men all made mistakes in the course of their service. So you can only emulate their good examples, not their mistakes.

When you survey the life of Christ on earth, what you see is compassion not condemnation, humility not arrogance, love not hatred, and forgiveness not vengeance. While in agony on the cross, Jesus prayed for those who despised him, not against them. On a certain occasion in a town where the Lord was not given a good reception, his disciples opted to call down fire on the inhabitants as Elijah did. But rather than encourage them, Jesus turned and rebuked them ( Luke 9:54-56).

A woman once asked, did David not pray against his enemies? What about the cursing psalms he wrote? Then I asked her, did David not commit adultery? Did he not kill in order to conceal his sinful acts? Would you enter into adultery or murder just because David did? The truth is, Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of the Christian faith, not David or any other prophet. While on earth, He used His power positively. A Christian should learn from Him and strive to do as He did.

Now to the cursing Psalms. These are those Psalms that invoke judgment or curses on those perceived to be enemies. They express the feelings of the composer at the time of writing. David wrote these Psalms during a great period of distress. He was hiding from King Saul and his Son Absalom who were after his life. Notice that although these two people were his major reason for writing the cursing Psalms, when David had the opportunity to kill Saul, he spared Saul's life. Also when Absalom died, it was expected that David would jump up for joy, but rather than rejoice at the fall of his enemy, David broke down in tears. This points us to the fact that David wrote the cursing Psalms out of desperation for help, not out of hatred for his enemies.

So the cursing Psalms should be regarded as David's unbridled cries of agony. They do not align with the teachings of Christ and a Christian should not attempt to mouth them. Even in the face of distress or trial, you have to learn to bridle your tongue. You don't voice out everything that streams into your heart in the time of pressure, for you will give account of every idle word that proceeds from your mouth.

Why did Isaiah prophesy that men will condemn every tongue that shall rise against them in judgment? This is another scripture that is used to misdirect people. To condemn does not mean to curse or kill. According to the English dictionary, it means, to counter or disprove. You don't condemn by cursing or praying for someone to die, but by living according to the message of Christ. When you live in accordance with the Word, It's intense light will counter or disolve the attacks of the Darkness initiated against you.

A young Preacher once said to me, "Big pastors pray vengeance prayers and they get results" Another one asked, "If such prayers are against God's will, who then has been answering them?"

It would be imperfection for the Almighty to answer prayers made against His will. The Word says, the thief came to steal, kill and destroy, but Christ came to give life. (John 10:10). If you pray for anyone to die and receive result, know of a truth, that it is the one who has the mission to kill and destroy that gave you the result. His main purpose of destroying that person is to make you believe that it was God who answered your prayer. By so doing he keeps you in perpetual bondage and leads you to destruction. Don't be ignorant!

A coated truth does more damage than a naked lie. It has the likeness of the truth, but it is far from being the truth. For this reason many people get drowned in it and get drifted to destruction without knowing.

Through the light of the Word I have come to realize, that we Christians have been religiously brainwashed for too long. Many unscriptural things have been built and handed down to us at home and in school, while scriptural things have been colored and fed to us in the Church. The pure teachings of Christ have been seized with unholy hands, twisted and falsified by those who desire to fulfill their selfish desires raher than the inner development of their fellow human beings.

Bear in mind, that ignorance has never, and will never be an adequate excuse for anyone to remain in darkness. It is your responsibility to exert yourself, to break loose the chains of ignorance and to set yourself free, for whoever does not make effort to understand the word of the Lord aright, brings guilt upon himself.

You have to understand, that the life you are living on earth is but a short period of training. Your existence does not cease when you drop your physical body. Depending on the path you chose to walk on earth, you will either continuously live, or continuously die. Therefore the time has come for you to awake from the slumber you're in. Liberate yourself. Seek the truth and strive to live in accordance with it, for it is only in doing so that you will be lifted to the regions of light and life.

Some of the teachings of Christ that have been falsified and used to misdirect men include Judgment, Christ's Mission on Earth, Giving, Prayer, etc. I will endeavor to take on these subjects and more, one after the other, in order to bring the truth to bare. The purpose of this is not to condemn, but to correct the ills of the Church, and by so doing help men return to the path of the Light. To follow will be a genuine endeavor to set yourself free from obscured vision.
