Shu I beg to differ- I would gladly give up my career and focus on my home. My kids would get my full attention and guidance. There are a million and one things I can do from home asides "provision shop". My picture is not the village scene though- more of expatriates in a country I love, running my NGO and personal business on the side, going on trips especially with my kids,planning and executing me times with boo... Truth be told- I don't mind the house wife thingy as long as he is capable and not overworking himself. I also wouldn't mind supporting him as well if need be. My kids would be a major investment - being an active part of their lives is the least I would be willing to do. This is my "ideal"

Both !!! Dad in the words of my siblings- spoilt me rotten; in my words LOVED me unconditionally. I didn't have to do anything to earn his love. We had awesome times together. Night walks and talks. That man poured out love on me- none withheld !!! :-) A lot of the simple principles I learnt and use in life I got from him. The time he spent with me while on earth and the love he showed me carries me on today. He was and is the closest person to my heart.( I am the last and he had already relaxed- he was really strict with the others)
Mum on the other hand is my best friend. She did the discipline part of parenting, the PRAYING, the spiritual guidance, grooming, the foundation setting, the academics - Dad never scolded me asper school he just believed in me :-) Only thing he stressed was reading books. Mum stressed everything! Thank God though they were "awesome"-I pray to be better.

Thank you Lord for seeing me through last week. Thank you for lifting up a standard against them and thank you Lord for giving me a little insight. You are the pillar that holds my life- there's no me without you.

It is not easy. It comes with its perks and problems. It has opened several doors for me and given me the opportunity to make a difference. Personally it also helps me work and develop myself.

I am all or none-I find it difficult to be fake. It's either I like "you/it "or I don't If I'm upset one would know- I most likely wouldn't confront you but I would be withdrawn or quiet and if I'm happy you would be able to tell as well. I think it's weird because I should be able to put up a front- I just can't do it- would rather be quiet but I'm learning though :-)
