Pope191. I posted this yesterday.

If you have been paying attention and were comfortably grossing 30k daily on Indriver, your new daily target is 45k. You're basically doing same number of trips but re-strategize to 3k for 30 mins trips and 5-6k for 1hr trips. Anything less, rejecto.

Same time, same energy, same number of hours. This is for a 6 day work period Indriver... (Fuck_Bolt)

Weekly fuel 75000
Weekly commission 27000
Weekly gross - 270,000
Weekly net - 168,000

No time

If you have more energy good. But stick to this.

What you do with your net, your biz
sorry bro, but are you saying you don't look at kilometers? just time? because for me the major determinant of price Is km

I appreciate the advice the pros here give. Thanks a lot.
Please I have a question.

Sometime back I took a trip to the airport which was my first time. I’ve read here how you can’t park anywhere in the airport and how hostile it is. That night a Good Samaritan led me to the car park which I dropped off and paid 700 naira before I could leave.

Now this is my question. I get trips on bolt to some hotel or agency which states airport road. Please will this trip lead me to the airport? Or it’s just a normal trip? As I decline such requests becuase gurus here have told me to avoid airport because I’m not to familiar with it.

Another question please. When you are to drop a rider in computer village, where do you drop them? Because most streets there don’t look like cars enter soo I drop them along the road.
a
I remember telling you that you don't have to go to the park to drop off a rider, drop off at the drop off zone and move, it's free of charge, you just wasted #700 just like that.

Once I've met my target or it is certain. You can take all the time in the world. Mostly by 3/4 I am done for the day, the rest is playing.
are you for real? even on indrive you don't mind rider taking all the time in the world as long as you've met your target?

I have not driven for two weeks now, I decided to drive today, after just two trips and endless waiting under the sun for trips, I went home. I don't know how you guys are doing it but the winter period is lasting longer than expected for me. last month a rider tipped me 1k5 after seeing the low fare he was asked to pay. even some riders know that the fares without surge are poor.

Really, so how will uber get their own revenue,? Regardless, 2.8k for 1 hr is mepagre.
when the trip ends, the rider will be asked to pay higher than what you as a driver saw before accepting uber hourly. I've done it twice

it's like some drivers here use water instead of petrol because i don't understand the kind of ridiculous bids I see on rida. App will suggest 4,500, rider will place 3,800 and one driver will bid 3,000. How? why?

Was there a discount given on the display page. I doubt if Uber is more expensive than Bolt.
BTW, Is uber now showing destination ? or they are still in their analog mode since 2015.
no destination boss, but I call to confirm destination before moving to PU most times.

Did u find out if the Bolt price was discounted?
I didn't have that...on uber you can't click "arrive" you only arrive when you get to the location which I didn't.i was outside the gate with the passengers waiting for the bolt guy, so the uber app was still telling me one minute to pickup.
I don't know if the bolt was discounted sha

so on friday I got a request from hakuna metata in ahmadu bello going to elegushi beach, as I arrived I saw 5 adults and 5 kids, I told the lady to other another ride so we will both share the passenger(5/5). now this is the gist.
I drive on uber and this was a surge less trip, the lady then requested on bolt. when bolt driver came, we left. when we got there, my fare was #2,300 and the bolt was #1,900. Does that mean uber is fairer than bolt to drivers, also the commission I paid was 5%

Hello guys I appreciate the encouragements

Noticed nobody here has talked about food grin
I went back home twice today to eat 😂.

Bold driver score is somehow. I told rider to cancel a trip to opic cos it seems out of Lagos. He canceled and the next 3 orders I got were from him and befor I could cancel he cancels. This thing dropped my score now 68. Bolt gave me order around today I only canceled Lekki and ajah cos I didn’t plan going far today. And airport cos it’s confusing

Please gurus here what’s your advice on airport? I see some orders which says airport road and I cancel cos I read here that it’s an offense to pick or drop at airport road. Please can anyone clarify this please.

And also if bolt blocks your account cos your score is below 50 is they a way around it? And how long does their blocking stay?
at one point you really have to tell yourself that this ehailing thing might not be for you bro. you really cancelled lekki trip?🙂

After waiting for 20 mins, you still didn't pick her. She won't feel anything. She'd rather order another. You are the one that wasted your time and still didn't get the deal. I'm not supporting her, don't misconstrue me. The normal waiting time is 5 mins, of which you can choose to cancel after that or call let her understand that she has just 5 mins waiting grace, anytime after that, she would add to the fare. It is the fault of the App. Bolt charges rider after waiting for 5 mins.

As long as you render a service, you should be patient and tolerant. If you see what bar owners go through from customers, you will understand how hard it is to render service in this part of the world. Nigerians are difficult and frustrated people and they sometimes unleash their frustration on service renders. You need to follow them with patience and tolerance if you want good score/rating and offcourse, the money, which is the reason you're in the biz.

If she entered the car and you politely explained to her that it's only 5 mins waiting grace and she needs to add a little to the fare for your 15 mins wait, she might oblige, but if she refuses, you move on and go drop her. If she alights, give her 1 star and explain why on the App.

Simple
I did it for the next driver not to wait as long as i did. I have also benefitted from that too. everyone has their ways. Also, i don't renegotiate or ask riders to add anything to my fare.

This scenario goes against what they call, "be ready before you request for your ride".
They knew he needed to eat and take his drugs, why then request a ride when the food was not bought yet?

that is the Nigerian mentality, they prefer you wait for them while they get ready instead of getting ready then wait for you. the number of times I cancelled last week would have gotten my account blocked if u were driving on bolt.
one lady wasted 15mins, I kept calling and she kept saying she's coming. I wanted to teach her a lesson too. so I waited for 20 mins, immediately she came out and wanted to open the door, I moved, she called and said I should come back that she's standing under the sun.i just laughed.

Sometimes we should be considerate. One lady once told me to put off the music completely and I asked why, and she said she wants to have her job meeting on zoom. I switched it off immediately. We should put ourselves in their shoes at times.

For the guy that wished drivers who overwork themselves dead, you went too far bro. There's always a better way of putting up your narrative.

For the eating in the car, I go with pearls. I usually allow them eat though but I would advise you not to stain my car. I recently carried an aged man and his wife from luth to Aguda. He was sick and he needed to eat and take his drugs. I allowed him eat his amala.....even though he stained the floor and seat, I had to clean it when they alighted and he blessed and thanked me.

In all, just be considerate. It doesn't mean you should go about taking sh1t!
I have switched off radio many times for riders to make calls, but this particular lady said she doesn't want radio, at all for no just reason

Amala ke...I allow jollof rice or fried rice or snacks but anything with flowing oil like soup or rice and stew, I just politely tell them "sorry it's not allowed, u may stain the seat unknowingly or bad road can shake the car and pour ur soup".
Respect is reciprocal, if they don't respect you, end the trip and ask them to request another ride. There is a kind of surprise/shock riders get when a driver just ends their trip, sometimes they are speechless, it hits them in a different way.
I remember I once picked up a rider, immediately I started the trip she asked me to turn off my radio, I reduced it and she said I should turn it off, I just reversed and told her to request for another ride, how can I drive 1hr plus in silence. music helps to withstand traffic.

Some Uber/Bolt drivers are actually very stupid and deserve to die in a car crash.

How can you be driving while you are tired and sleeping on the steering? Are you that greedy?

You cannot make all the money in the world while driving for Bolt/Uber. So why the risk?

I was hit by a driver yesterday night by around 2am while on my way home. I wasn't speeding, only for me to hear gbam! behind my car.

When I came down to check the damage, I couldn't even fight him, because his own car somersaulted and the damage was madt. It was a miracle he didn't die yesterday.

I was angry and felt pity for the slowpoke at the same time. The damage on my car was minimal so I decided to leave the driver alone.

If I wanted to be difficult, I would have insisted he paid for the damage yesterday, because it was clearly his fault.

To all drivers, don't allow your greed be the end of you.

But if you don't value your life, you can go ahead and take unnecessary and pointless risks, all in the name of meeting "target".

You still won't be rich. You will be running circles in poverty. So why the risk?

I hope someone learns from this.

stay one place piss make e foam...you're confusing my confusion

If you're not doing this hustle full time, then you will never understand how some actions of some wicked riders affect drivers mentally. Even if you do this hustle and you feel putting up this reply is the best you can come up with after reading what happened, then you still will never ever understand what drivers go through from wicked riders.
The Femi Martins of this world can never and will never accelerate any plan B Jack sh1t. Anybody that will help you will not treat you like sh1t or piece of rubbish.

I called you before leaving and you told me to come. I drove 16 mins to your place. I called you immediately I got there and you rejected 5 calls. Sent a txt message, then you cancelled immediately. Now this is what you have done; you have wasted my airtime, fuel used for 16 mins, time, strength! If I keep getting them like this, then I should always be happy and clap for them, and hoping they would accelerate my plan B!

This morning I got another. She was going to Lekki from iwaya. I called her and asked if I should come and she said yes. She asked where I was coming from, I said Moore Road, close to Barikisu iyede. I left immediately and drove to her PU location. When I got to iwaya road, she cancelled. Called immediately and she started rejecting my calls. Now I should clap for her and hope she would accelerate my plan B!

I think we should be guided here!
incidents like this is why I haven't driven since this week..make I no go use vex fight rider😆🙂. I hear am all through last week, the vex in me could boil yam. this week(till thursday) is for my mental health

Thanks for the advice. I’m familiar with alagbole as I’ve taken riders there before. I dislike bolt soo much because of the 25% commission that’s why I rarely use bolt. My driver score is 76% now there and will only use it when I’m ready to take any trip. Indrive gives the advantage of choosing where you want to go to. Bolt doesn’t care about anything that’s why I don’t use them. My experience yesterday taught me and I’ve learned from there
try uber, it's 20% commission for the first 15 trips of the week and 5 % after that. I don't take trip less than. 2k on indrive and rida. its better I just park and wait for a good trip than do all those 800-1500 trips

Regardless of one knowing is riders, we still have to be patient with these people. From far I naturally don't have smiley face till we talk and you understand I am such an easy person. I have been having funny crazy riders for the past 2 weeks, maybe it is because I don't really stress on the hustle these days.

1. She booked a ride and on getting to PU, she remember sometin. One thing I like about Indrive rating? Pay attention to riders rating, that sh*t don't lie. I look at her rating and I saw 3.9 on a ride that is not up to 20, then I knew who I am dealing with. Took time for her to be out that I have registered 1 star for her in my mind. She came out and apologise. The normal me don't respond to such, so I didn't. Half way we get talky talky talky. Real talks that I learnt so many valuable lessons from her and she even request I save her number and free to call anytime. Extra 500 on her fare again.... that was how 1 star turned to 5 grin

This same week I hit the back bumper on a blank spot while reversing. It was late around 8pm. Got this rider that just won't let me be and got me talking, laughing all thro the trip. Got to her destination and we were still chatting as she walks away, while I reverse. Gbam! My bumper don climb small stone and she stood laughing at me for not seeing the stone. I just face my front before she put me for wahala.

Been long I had regrettable trip.
you're lucky then, but these are not the kind of issues I was referring to sha. just this week alone I drove 10mins to Pu twice and rider cancelled even though I called them before driving there. the first one said he's sorry another driver came before me, the second one just refused to pick my calls. These kind of things can really demoralise a driver.

3 ladies infuriated the h*ll out of me last night. On my way home, I saw trip from secretariat mosque to street away from mine. Normally I don't do such trip, but yesterday was kind of drag for me, so I decide to run a trip of at least 2500 for 2k after like 5 attempts of price drag.

Got to PU, rider won't come out, keep begging "I'm coming". She came out and still have to wait for her friends. Immediately I knew it was all these contribution trip. I keep my cool because I can tell these people will have preferred route, but it have to be my way.

2 ladies joined her to make it 3. They ask me to take Lateef Jakande road with full blown traffic, while Berger is absolutely free. It won't work, I'm using Berger and no option of cancel, as I have already step on gas. One have to alight half way. It took them to start agreeing what each will pay when we get to Berger, because another need to alight. The whole process was just getting me upset inside.

I belive there are better things to invest money on, then the nonsense riders feed drivers atimes.
these past few weeks has been difficult to keep your cool as a driver, riders are really out to frustrate with the chicken change they pay
