I got to Canada yesterday with Air Maroc. Their price is relatively cheap, not an excellent serivice on board but can be considered ok. We landed like 8pm and the view from air was perfect. I have already started my registration and getting my affairs in order. For those of us who are still in the process, I say unto you: please do not give up on this dream. It worths every penny, anxiety, heart ache and time. When you get here, you will understand what I mean.

P.S: mikymiko, sorry to hear your story. Take it as a challenge and face it squarely. Let the FAVOUR of the Lord be upon you all and let your Canadian dreams be fulfilled.

Still battling jetlag. It defeated me last night but I will fight this night grin grin grin grin grin.

Good to hear that you landed safely, please what did you encounter at the port of entry. What are the questions asked?

Hello house,

Please how can you check the last time CIC opened/checked your application ?

Someone should please answer this questions:

1)How can you check the last time CIC opened/ checked someone's application?

2) If someone's online upfront medical shows passed, does that mean the applicant's TRV is about to be approved?

It is free. All thanks to nairaland for the information. I also applied there and to three other schools. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket.

Please, apart from UBC. Which other university is free for Nigerians

Hello guys,

This is actually my first post on this forum. Been reading up threads from way back and i must confess its been of enormous help to me. I personally just want to appreciate everyone here for contributing immensely to someone else's success in one way or the other.

I recently received an admission offer from Carleton University for M.Eng (Mechanical Engineering) Winter 2017. Although my intent is to deffer the offer till Summer 2017 just to give me ample time to prepare my documents for TRV application, I'd like to seek advice from the gurus in the house on how to go about the deffering process.

The deferring process should be on your admission offer letter or you can contact your department advisor on how to defer your admission. Deferring admission is not a big deal
