Publication is FREE in top-tier Journals

Recently, I had a funded open position for 6-12 months postdoctoral research opportunities in my lab. One of my PhD students assigned to review the application informed me that 3 applicants sent their application from Nigeria. I was so much interested to see these applications and possibly recruits based on the criteria stated on the application.

Particularly, two of the applicants from a well-known university in Nigeria submitted their CVs with publications of 15-30 articles.

Unfortunately, only 2-4 of the publications merited the criteria. 98% of the publications are not indexed in journals covered by SCI, SCI-e, SSCI nor WOS. Also, the field of research is too old. So, their applications were rejected.

I personally called these applicants, one happens to be associate professor and other a senior lecturer. They both claimed they dont have money to publish in such journals. Wow wow, then I realized they have no clue or possibly lack information regarding publications in Elservier, Springer, Taylor & Francis journals etc.

Take note:

1. Publications in the above mentioned publishing companies is COMPLETELY FREE unless you want to publish OPEN ACCESS (not necessary).

2. Ensure you publish in journals covered or indexed under SCI, SCI-e, SSCI, AHCI

3. Impact factor of the journal is also an important index.



Note: I am a junior professor with over 50 SCI publications.

Yes you can be admitted directly to a master program, you will need to mail me your complete OND, HND transcripts, certificates and olevel result and biodata page of international passport.

Upgrading of Pyrolyzed oil is a nice research focus. I have substantial experience with that. Specifically, I use catalytic upgrading route via fluidized cracking reactor or esterification.

If you are very interested then you may need to have some facilities to test the pyrolyzed and upgrades bio-oil like checking the flash point, viscosity, pH etc.

You will need to prepare catalysts and one of the emerging and robust catalyst is MOFS ( metal organic framework). So if you are ready to work I can pass you procedure to prepare various MOFS or send u some of my published works. Also, to support you, I can help you with characterizations of the prepared catalysts but then you must be able to check your upgraded oil at your own end.

Pls what does it takes for foreign student to travel/migrate from North Cyprus to Turkey?

To travel to Turkey: student should fill the visa application form online and choose purpose of traveling (tourism, studies etc) and when you choose the purpose of your trip, then visa requirements for that purpose be shown to you.

To migrate to Turkey: ordinarily, you might have completed your studies and obtained job offer in Turkey, married Turkish citizen Or Legally based Turkish person or investment in Turkey. These are the ways to migrate to Turkey and each here also have visa requirements.

Wen u get to ercan airport , u might be asked to show ur acceptance letter.. also follow for the big bus (Kibhas) and tell dem ur destination.. Much cheaper dan taksi (dats if u dnt have anibody pickin u up)..

I graduated from EMU in 2014 and currently need to obtain a police clearance certificate from the police. Any guidance on how to do that?

Very unfortunate, you have to physically be present in Cyprus before you can obtain it. I have tried for one of my friends recently even used the influence of the former head police of magusa but they claimed the applicant documents has been sent to Turkish embassy in Abuja, meanwhile Turkish embassy has no records of such. In summary, early last year was possible to obtain in proxy but now you can't unless you are in Cyprus.

Meanwhile, recently one of my master students also away from Cyprus had the same issue for her Canadian immigration. She submitted the application letter sent to the police with refusal for them to issue it. She got after her ADR, that background check complete and appears the embassy handling her case do retrieve some info from mainland Turkey.

Anyway, you can also try with your old friend in Cyprus to help you confirm may be they had changed the rule last nite!

Just google traveling insurance company Nigeria... more than 1000 companies names will pop up. Take a taxi or your personal car to their office or call them the one closest to you and cheap. Tell them your destination and date. Pay the money and enjoy your trip

1. Must the Certificates be duly signed and approved by both Federal Min. of Education and Min.of foreign affairs?

The most important is Fed. Min of Edu. You may do MFA as well. Both should cost you less than 3k naira.

2. How can I get the travel health insurance?

Lots of insurance companies in Nigeria. Just google "travelling insurance in Nigeria" you will get results such as AIICO INSURANCE PLC etc.

3. Can I submit my bank statement alongside with that of the sponsor?

I have sent your name to the embassy this morning. For your information, we send your name to the Turkish Embassy in Nicosia (Cyprus) and they in turn forward to the Turkish Embassy in Abuja. The Turkish Embassy in Abuja do not accept direct correspondence; therefore we have to send through the Turkish Embassy in our country. For this reason, please allow at least 3-4 working days before you contact them.
