Mr Wip thank you for your tips, your are blessed I made it through, immigration I was highly favored no issue with passport I mean the disvirgin thing it was stamped with ease... I went through one way tho I had a little issue with Turkish airline.

Trizzzzlez:
Just an advice for all. All you need to get to TRNC is on this forum. Read through all the pages backwards or ask MR WIP the man with best heart have ever seen.

Thank you again MR WIP.

I'm glad to help answer few questions too, with the little experince have seen on my journey to north cyprus.

To aspiring applicants you are highly favored! See you soon

Wow congrats you made it. Thanks for the prayer.

A word of advice; you will meet so many negative people on the island, some deceived themselves while others were deceived. Spend more time with the positive minds, learn how to sieve failures from those that are focused and success oriented.

Best wishes!

Mr Wip7 thanks for this forum have being following for awhile it's as really helped in several ways.

I'm going to eul this month, but surprisingly my agent told me one of his student who wanted to leave yesterday could not fly because he booked one way. I tried getting across to him to pull information from him he's presently not picking due to what happened. I also booked one way for 25th too. Please what's the remedy to this. Thanks in advance.

Cyprus or turkey immigration does not care on the nature of flight you book either one way or multiways. The major issues mostly affects first -time travelers as those fraudulent immigration staffs like to taunt and milk these sets of students.

Forcing them to either bribe or get 2 ways tickets. Students going to study for 2-6 years are not supposed to be forced to return until their studies are over.

Anyway, those that can stand against this abuse, refused the bribe and let the immigration staffs in Nigerian airports knows it's not mandatory to get two-ways will pass wiyuiy issues on arrival.

Also, these people in most cases colluded with the local airline staffs at the airport to frustrate.

So my advise is if you can show strong face or get two ways and terminate the second leg on arrival (refund sometime is not also easy to get unless you purchased refundable ticket and with your own card)

Okay sir if I pay November can I be given visa that same November to travel to cyprus while I resume school by feb because I already paid for apartment since every one shouting house is scarce

Visa issuance for students always commence atleast 1 month prior to the official registration period. Meaning you can only be issued visa from january 2018. Since spring entry starts from Feb 2018.

So if you pay in November 2017, your name will be among the first batch to be at embassy and the university likely starting sending names from November.

Mr wip please I just made my decision to go to northern cyprus I actually got an admission into Neu undergraduate program international relations gotten the admission since august but I just decided to go for it can I still pay for my school fee this Wednesday and still meet up for the fall semester I have all my documents intact please reply me asap

The university may still be accepting payment but be aware that their are hundreds of applicants at the embassy still waiting to be issued or denied visas. Some have paid since 1-4 months ago and submitted the application while the embassy kept claiming their names have not been sent.

I rather advice you to relax for this semester and make payment around November for February 2018 entry. By then they could have sent name early to embassy and you can follow then.

VISA WITHOUT APPOINTMENT

Dear Applicant,

As part of our efforts to help our students to secure a visa to come and study, we have managed to reach an agreement with the Turkish Embassy in Abuja.

As a result, the Embassy will be opened on the 13th and 15th of September, to all applicants with Unconditional Acceptance Letters(UAL) from a TRNC University.

Applicants DO NOT HAVE TO BOOK FOR APPOINTMENT prior to their visits. This offer is ONLY for these dates and is on the FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis.

The list of CIU and EMU admitted students have been duly submitted to the Embassy and they have acknowledged receipt.

Pleas can u make more enlightment on this I have fill all my data but the appointment date is not encouraging should I approach the embassy for it cause the date is December but e dose not work because school start this month I have to flight next month please help
Fall applicants intending to study in North Cyprus or Turkey, you must fill the Pre-visa form online and book appointment. You don't need agents/touts to milk you or fill rubbish for you provided you have passed JSS 3 from your country and have access to the internet.

Below is the link to the Turkish Pre-visa form irrespective of your location. A brief procedure is stated here:

1. Type the web address into the address bar of your web browser.

2. Select the country you will be applying from and the Turkish embassy in the country will pop up.

3. The pre-visa form has 5 stages and all most be correctly filled starting with your personal details.

4. In stage 5, you will be requested to upload certain documents depending on your country you are applying the visa from like your admission letter, telex, sponsor details, bank details, etc. For instance, applicants from Rwanda are asked just to upload Admission letter and telex, those from Mauritius only need admission letter, those from Uganda are asked to upload almost 8 documents and those from Nigeria just about 3-4 documents. So the country you are applying from determines the documents you will upload into the pre-visa form online.

5. After submission of the pre-visa form, you will see a button where you can book the appointment and choose the suitable date and time for yourself.

6. Ensure you print the submitted pre-visa form, have the originals of your documents and proceed to the embassy on the appointment date.

7. Be aware that because you paid your fees and obtained the confirmation of payment from the University does not translate that the embassy has received your details. Hence, allow between 1-2 weeks after you received payment confirmation/final acceptance letter before your details will appear on the embassy list.

8. For those travelling here, be aware that stuffs like winter jackets, laptops, noodles (indomie), etc. are expensive here. Thus, instead of spending an equivalent of 15, 000-20k Naira on a jacket, you can get those cheaper and quality ones from your country. This will help to conserve the initial excessive spendings.

9. Lastly, don't loan out money to people when you arrive here...because they mostly will tell you stories that touch the heart/anus and you mostly will not get your money back.

10. The essence of you here is education. Take note: education is not just by getting first class these days. It involves you to have practical knowledge, competitive skills in emerging trades and areas; ability to transform your education into success and legal achievement.

11. Lastly, the rate at which younger Nigerians/African are impregnating and being pregnant is alarming these days in Cyprus. The age is ridiculous considering the fact that these kids are being sponsored by their struggling parents. This atrocity will surely hinder the parties involve at such nascent age without financial, academic or business acumen to support these newborn babies. If you must have sex, please condoms and withdrawal tactics are not expensive here.

Best wishes!

Next time add the original poster of this message (WIP7/WIP2).

You can visit embassy after you followed the ore-visa procedure you may not need to follow the appointment.

@ Wip7 I need a comprehensive cost of schooling at METU, Bsc computer science, or software engineering.
And possibility of resuming by October.
Thanks.

Deadline for application into METU ends on 15th September for this year entry. Fees without scholarship at METU is 9000 usd per year. Your high school result ( O-level or A-level grades) determines level of scholarship you will be awarded (25-100%). To apply send me results, international passport page, photograph. Metu is highly ranked university so applicants with great results are admitted.

@wip.

Please is admission open for spring 2018?
I intend on studying oil and gas engineering /petroleum engineering. Masters level.

Will 8 million naira be sufficient enough for the entire program inclusive of accomodation and upkeep?

Which schools in TRNC would u recommend?

What documents do I need to begin the process?

Thanks.

Transcript, bachelor certificate and international passport page are required for admission. Total fees for the program 1-2 yrs is approximately 3900 euro and accommodation 1500-3000 euro per year. You can sum those up and do the naira conversion.

You should have paid fees for one year and accommodation for at least 1yr plus living expenses before you travel. Jobs are scarce and wages are low.
Thanks for this info, please whats the possible range of cost of this tuition and accommodation for 1year in CSU (MSc Environmental Science and Engineering).

Total master program for the MSc Environmental Science and Engineering in CSU is 3400 euro. Accommodation ranges 1300-3000 euro per year.

Thanks Sir,
Please whats the advantage of a Msc with thesis and non-thesis?
Thesis based study: primarily involves lab or field research which prepares or enables the students to further their studies at doctoral level or some organization believe such graduate can easily take up research duties due to experience already gained.

Non-thesis: is project based MSc. Students will not need to perform lab or field research. Where 90% of the data are mostly obtain via secondary means. Most university will not admit graduate of non-thesis master for a Phd program while some will subject such applicant to take up some research trainings before enrolling into PhD for those interested to further their studies.

hello room, i just came in contact with this group few hours ago due to research prompted by a brother to look into north cyprus for MSc. I saw an advert about MSc Environmental Science and Engineering in CSU and my question is can i be admitted into into the programme with a Bsc in Environmental Biology (CGPA; 3.2). Any advice on any other affordable environmental science masters in the region is welcomed. Thanks.

Hi,
Yes you can be admitted into the MSc program. And that is the most affordable in Cyprus.

Sir, i've not paid my fees yet, but i will pay 2weeks time, i hope it will not be too late.. im just having issues with funds right now.. will the embassy still do interviews for people like me??
And the will i be able to meet up with resumptions and all.. im heading to NEU sir..

The embassy will keep attending to FALL applicants until November, however, most students that will in arrive after October may not be able to register depending on the university. If you can't pay within first week September, I will advise you switch to Spring entry (Feb 2018).

at bold, they are pain in the ass, God delivered me from their frustration. but sometimes i seems not to understand y issues like this happen cox the university has a data base of all students that have paid their fees. then what is the issue compiling these names? #deepestsigh

Sending names and applicants details to the embassy passes through several doors. University here don't interact with the embassy directly as I have mentioned severally.

The details goes from university to Turkish embassy in TRNC and another chain of doors.

tcitachi:

I've sent it sir check ur mail

I can confirm that your details were sent more than a month from the university based on the record I just received.
Also, I called my link in Immigration office in TRNC, they also sent your details to embassy in Nigeria as I had to follow those that paid today so as to get their names sent.

Be patient till first Ist-2nd week embassy as I learnt the university have just sent a memo as well stating students frustration.

Best wishes!

Sir. The name issue is really frustrating. Schools will resume soon and people are still having these issues. Even many of the people rushing for interview this Tuesday and thursday. Many didn't see their names because they just paid recently. They will probably get their passport back with the same “name not on the list" tag, putting us in the same category while resumption states us in the face. I'm just hopeful the embassy will attend to us after now

Resumption still far ..students that arrive early October won't have issued as well.
