We borrow money from China, China collect it back through projects awarded to them and we are still owing them the money borrowed, it's a win, win for China.

It's better that way,at least they will do the work with the money.
We give am our own people.
Dem go chop am ,no project and we go still pay am back.

So choose which one is one.

Foreign Affairs / First Black Female African Mayor In State Elected by wkkwl: 2:51am On Jun 25, 2021
Fianna Fáil Cllr Uruemu Adejinmi has been elected as Mayor of Longford County Council, marking a series of firsts for the county, as she is the first migrant, first African and first black female to become Mayor.

Ms Adejinmi’s election as Cathaoirleach of Longford Municipal District also makes her the country’s first female African Mayor. Her journey into politics began in 2016 when she supported a candidate in a local election. Shortly afterwards, her neighbour asked her to join Fianna Fáil.

Phones / Nigerian Develops An App Help Stop Police Brutality #endsars by wkkwl: 2:17am On Nov 26, 2020
Ever since the #EndSars saga in my country Nigeria, I have been troubled being that i wasn’t there physically to make my presence felt.

But as a Software Engineer, I felt the best way is to let my actions speak louder than words.
For that, I have created an App called #BeAware
It enables users point out Swat/Sars checkpoints and police brutality with images and every user who has that app within a 100km radius would get a notification on where that is on their mobile phones. This is to help stop police brutality.

Here is the link, available on Google Playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.codecoy.beaware and it is FREE

As it is just the first version, do leave your feedback on the app and tell me what you would want in the next release so i can implement them.
Let’s make Nigeria Great Again.

Let's make this go viral

Career / Re: School Or 6 Digits Income Per Month? by wkkwl: 11:03am On Jun 18, 2020
To be honest bruh,
Open University, switch your course.
Remember you still need school.
Depends on the online business you are doing.

Remember there are different types of online business,
There is what they call the trend, I believe that is what you are having now.

Go for online course, make as much money you can with this trend you are currently having, cause it might not last.

Re-diversify your income that way you won't be stranded.

The only sustainable online business is having an ever green brand, something that people will always buy, invest wisely whatever trend you are experiencing now wont be forever.

Health / Coronavirus: Currently 'no Evidence' That COVID-19 Survivors Have Immunity, WHO by wkkwl: 1:07pm On Apr 18, 2020
Epidemiologists warn there is no proof that antibody tests can show if someone who has been infected cannot be infected again.

There is no evidence that people who have recovered from coronavirus have immunity to the disease, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has said.

The UK government has bought 3.5 million serology tests - which measure levels of antibodies in blood plasma.

But senior WHO epidemiologists have warned that there is no proof that such antibody tests can show if someone who has been infected with COVID-19 cannot be infected again.

Health / COVID-19: Stop Wearing Face Mask If Your Are Not Sick-(WHO) by wkkwl: 3:50pm On Mar 31, 2020
(CNN)World Health Organization officials Monday said they still recommend people not wear face masks unless they are sick with COVID-19 or caring for someone who is sick.

here is no specific evidence to suggest that the wearing of masks by the mass population has any potential benefit. In fact, there's some evidence to suggest the opposite in the misuse of wearing a mask properly or fitting it properly," Dr. Mike Ryan, executive director of the WHO health emergency program, said at a media briefing in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday.

Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, an infectious disease epidemiologist with the WHO, also said at Monday's briefing that it is important "we prioritize the use of masks for those who need it most," which would be frontline health care workers.
"In the community, we do not recommend the use of wearing masks unless you yourself are sick and as a measure to prevent onward spread from you if you are ill," Van Kerkhove said.
"The masks that we recommend are for people who are at home and who are sick and for those individuals who are caring for those people who are home that is sick," she said.
