Nigeria's Flying Eagles, last night edged hosts Argentina 2-0 to qualify for the quarter finals of the ongoing Fifa U20 world cup. The match played at the San Juan stadium in Argentina saw the Nigerians hold their nerves against a highly rated Argentine side buoyed by feverish home support. The half time stalemate was broken by two second half goals which saw the Nigerians advance ahead of their hosts. https://supersport.com/football/fifa-u20-world-cup/video/3c6194d4-544d-44c1-a7d4-41af98082998/argentina-v-nigeria-match-highlights-fifa-u20-world-cup |

Now, I'm confused: Is this "price adjustment to reflect market realities" the same as "no-subsidy" price? If it is, then why is it coming in May instead of June ending? 2 Likes |

President Bola Tinubu in his inaugural address to the Nation says there is no budget for the fuel subsidy. So as a result, the fuel subsidy is gone. 1 Like |

See non state actors brandishing high calibre weapons. All in a bid to establish some sort of "street credibility", and thereafter be rewarded with pipeline "protection" contracts... To protect the pipelines from themselves. Clown country. , leodking, mufasa and other clowns are howling over their tribes and religions. |

I don't know him. But may he rest in peace. Nigerians, please when reacting to the news of the death of a person, please can you direct the "rip" to that person? Writing just "rip" is senseless. Is it the person reading your comment you're telling to rest in peace? 84 Likes 7 Shares |

Bro you can be from any ethnic group, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're not jubilating because the person will turn the country around. And If that is not your reason for jubilating, bro na nonsense Stockholm syndrome jubilation you dey jubilate. I don't care about Obi, Atiku or Tinubu. Peacecore: |

Who is "you"? I'm not ibo. If you hate them so much, do I have to suffer as a result? Or is it just Ibos and Yorubas that are in this country? If two of you hate each other so much, you guys should leave Nigeria for the rest of ua and go and fight yourselves to death. Raf4: |

The same excuse "I don't want to waste my vote" , "I'm being realistic"... is what has kept us here. Lets join hands to start the change that will push better candidates forward. anonymous1759: 1 Like |

I'm not Ibo. Obi was not my governor. It mustn't be Obi or Atiku, if not Tinubu. In a country of so many bright people, why does the system keep throwing up the worst? Aren't you tired? Why can't you see beyond the tribal, religious and party loyalty you're using to destroy your own future just for politicians to gain? Are you a slave? anonymous1759: 1 Like |

Bro or sis, I don't know what you mean by my people, I'm not Ibo. You imps can't think beyond your hatred for those people. So you're determined to spoil the entire country of more than 300 ethnic groups cos you want to "teach ibos a lesson". lapintoz: 1 Like |

The people jubilating are not doing so because they feel Tinubu will work to make Nigeria great. They are jubilating because to spite one ethnic group. It is like a sport to them. They don't care about their future or that of their kids. Africa is cursed with tribe and religion. As for the judgment most rational people were not expecting anything otherwise. Let everyone go and hustle and see in what way they can create happiness for themselves. 3 Likes |

Even a post seeking to preach peace and discourage ethnic bigotry has quickly been taken over by ethnic fightings in the comment section. What this shows is that there can never be unity in diversity. The only way to achieve unity is for there not to exist diversity. Samora Machel once said: For the nation to rise, the tribe must die |

Do away with tribal classifications, abolish ethnic groups, promulgate a law, a decree that tribes cease to exist in Nigeria. Outlaw the local languages....Do this today and give two generations for us the already contaminated to pass away.. And watch Nigeria rise to become a world power. |

Low self esteem is really a bad thing. See an African country that should leverage on its comparative economic advantage of fossil fuel natural resources trying to impress Western imperialists who have built and still operating their industrialisation on fossil fuels. Even in the west where electricity is stable and abundant, electric vehicles are still not widely deployed because of the cost disadvantage. You can see the harsh economic squeeze they faced when fossil energy prices soared. Let alone an African country still struggling with even basic electricity. There is no such thing as "clean energy". What we have are various energy sources, with various nations racing to leverage on which sources they have a comparative cost advantage. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

See the commenters tearing themselves apart purely on the basis of tribal hatred. Instead of coming together to hold the politicians accountable so that their lives will improve, they are thinking up smart sounding insults to hurl at each other. Phooools! 6 Likes |

I tried several times to re-download 2go. It seems even the developers have given up on it. Cos you just can't proceed to do anything meaningful after downloading. They will tell you to buy coins, you will do so, but nothing will happen. Lots of people are complaining in the ratings comment section on playstore. The app is dead. 18 Likes 1 Share |

Before you get sanctimonious, ask yourself: what is the first thing you ask or want to know about a fellow Nigerian that you just met? Is it not "WHERE ARE YOU FROM?" I politely stopped answering that question and instead say I'm a Nigerian. What I receive in return is nothing but anger, scorn, hatred, rejection and immediate termination of whatever would have proceeded from the meeting. Your tribes and religions are the most important things to you guys in Nigeria. The politicians know this, so they rape you guys blind and they know instead of joining hands together as citizens to hold them accountable, you will take sides among yourselves according to your tribes and religions. Nigerian politicians are the most lucky people in the world. Buhari's singular achievement in 8yrs is the considerable improvement in his personal health. He simply rode on the tribal/religious loyalties of a stupid country. And Tinubu will do same. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
