The first and most important criterion was if one is a family member/friend to a prominent politician in the country especially one residing in Abuja. The other criterion was if one is an Hausa/Fulani, Yoruba, or Igbo.

Blunt and naked lie.

Someone from federal character is insisting on tomorrow
PrinceFola:
Yes you're very right...... I can testify to this............
opemipo2014:

Yes interviews will still take place tomorrow and tuesday for other ministries but not for MFA.

what is ur justification to this info? was text msgs send to Successful candidates because it will not be feasible to conduct interview when candidates are not properly communicated.

Federal Character not Federal Civil Service Commission

On the issue of allocating slots to states, it principally on the basis of Federal Character, it depends on the number of indigenes of ur state in that Ministry or Agency or Parastatal that will determine how much more is needed to balance the thing base on equal representation as stipulated in the Federal Character Rule

I want to ask you one simple question please i want a straight forward ans and no insults. Did you get shortlisted without connection? Yes or no.

No long story.
no

I got it without any connection. Infact, I just applied for that sake but I made the Batch A list as a Criminologist in MFA. I am assuring that by the Grace of God, I will testify still in this forum that I made it finally without any link from the top. God pass man

Are you fvcking kidding me? Where in Nigeria civil service have you heard the government employed everyone that was shortlisted for interview?

Many people were shortlisted through their connection but at the end of the recruitment, the people with the strongest connection will get it.

I just don't know why some people are bend on distracting others to loose hope? Is this Civil Defence recruitment? This is FCSC with presence of its MDAs in every state of the Federation and FCT. Know that this is a massive recruitment of about 10 or so MDAs. I think what we should be doing here is encouraging each others than just cooking stories. It only shows how unhappy some are just because they lost out in the process. Let's give hope to the hopeless. Rejoice with others today as tomorrow will be ur turn.

Again let me encourage all of you that are hoping to be shortlisted in the next batch, don't loose hope. Miracles do happen. You don't need a God father to be shortlisted in process. If God has done it for me a less privilege and unconnected poor boy and a host of others, then ur case is settled. Take it to God in prayers and allow him to perfect his will.

Na beg I beg, wen is interview for MFA? is it still tomorrow? Pls talk so I can start travelling

I want to state here that if anything will happen, I will know. Am in Abuja and also expecting the MFA interview. If text messages will be send for the interview or published, all of us shortlisted will be communicated. No body can temper with that list. The only place and option that influential men may have is the Batch B list. on the issue of slots, I don't have the slightest idea but anybody telling is 38 or so, is misguiding you. Batch B hopefuls, best of luck nairalanders.

To the best of my knowledge, all shortlisted candidates applied online during the last year's advertisement of various vacancies by MDAs.

[quote author=mickyrose post=55335314]Pls when is the MFA interview likely to be now? Pls[/quote
Relax man. If you were shortlisted, then keep tightening up ur loose ends instead of worrying so much on when the interview will be held. If you are expecting Batch B, pray it will favour you as the first one did for so many others including less privilege and unconnected persons like me. Best wishes
