Assuming dey listened.... cheesy
They've not seen anything yet.. The president is a proud member of this Mafia and he attended all their meetings before the 2015 election where they categorically stated that power MUST return to north or they execute their plan B which is war.. Now they've gained the power and they are ready to do whatever it take to consolidate and hold grip of that power.. The game just began!

Shots fired.. Those thinking they will influence Buhari through his wife to get rid of Mamman Daura, Abah Kyari and other members of Kaduna Mafias running the government are on a wild goose chase.. The north is out to destroy whatever Abacha and his goons left for this country.

nope

CIA =NIA
FBI =NPF
HOMELAND SECURITY =Dss/SSS
EFCC CAN BE compared to Secret service because they are under the treasury department they can investigate money laundering and corruption but efcc can not protect the president

ATF/Nafdac
DEA/Ndlea
ICE/CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION

Secret Service = DSS/SSS

Secret Service is under the Department of Homeland Security

Politics / Re: FG Withdraws Forgery Charges Against Saraki And Ekweremadu by Xapio: 11:37am On Oct 07, 2016
Teespice:

the topic itself is very misleading.

anybody who glances at the topic without reading the article would easily jump into conclusions. so you can't really blame those who cannot "read and understand"

Read and understand the statement below:

Messrs. Saraki and Ekweremadu, as well as a former Clerk of the National Assembly, Salisu Maikasuwa, and a former Deputy clerk, Ben Efeturi, were first arraigned before Justice Yusuf Halilu on June 10, 2016 via charge No. CR/219/16.

They all pleaded not guilty on July 27, 2016.
In the motion filed Thursday, Mr. Loveme said counsel to the Federal Government on the matter, Aliyu Umar, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, on September 30 in the office of the Director of Public Prosecution told him that he had studied the case diary and “ had decided to amend the charge in the manner stated on the face of the motion paper”.
Mr. Loveme added that he has, consequently, filed an amended charge.

“That I depose to this affidavit in good faith believing same to be correct to the best of my knowledge and information and in accordance with the Oaths Act Cap 01 laws of the Federation of Nigeria,” he said.
Based on the amended charge, only Messrs.

Maikasuwa and Efeturi would face prosecution.
Count 1 of the charge against the two civil servants, is that of Criminal Conspiracy punishable under section 97 (1) Penal Code Act ( Northern States) Federation Provisions Act, 1960, Cap 345, laws of the Federation 1990 as amended.

This means that the charges has been amended already and Saraki and Ekweremmadu's names dropped.

Politics / Re: Lets Start The Discussion About A Possible Young Nigerian President by Xapio: 3:00pm On Sep 30, 2016
Nice thread just that tribalism is even worse among young Nigerians (Case study of Nairaland and Facebook). No matter who becomes the president of Nigeria, young or old, it's gonna be the same story as long as he or she is ruling with our padded constitution. For things to get better,
1) we should first abolish or amend our current constitution to remove all kinds of immunity on public officers, bequeath infrastructural developments on the States.

2) FG will be saddled with the responsibilities of Foreign affairs policy, economic policies to attract foreign investors, managing the military and other federal security agencies like DSS, NIA, Custom, Immigration, etc.

3) Police and NSCDC should be controlled by each state. States should manage their resources and pay 20% monthly to FG. A strong and independent federal agency should be established to make sure that States doesn't hide what they earn monthly. Abolish two tenure government, once you are done with your four years, you pack your bag and go. angry ...

4) The remuneration of public officers should be reduced in such a way that they earn like other civil servants.

5) Abolish "state of origin" and adopt "state of residence" .. So many things to say, but I will stop here for now.

Chukzyfcb:

when I read at comments like this one nairaland, I baffle at the level of reasoning. so so irrational and myopic. I can't believe you even gathered likes for this low level thought.
yes USA and England's interest rate is between 0.25% and 0.5% but do you know their inflation rate?
don't you know that inflation rate and interbank rate move hand in hand.
at USA the inflation rate currently stands at 1.1% while at england is at 0.3%. now compare it to Nigeria
where inflation rate is at 17.5% meanwhile MPR rate is at 14%, which country is lagging behind? which country is more generous in its rates if not Nigeria. you were so quick to dish out the inter bank rates without checking the inflation rate yet you feel you have made an important comment.
how will investors invest in the money market, when your interest rate is at miserly 14% meanwhile inflation is 17.5%, how will the banks keep up? or don't you know that they will be losing money by over 3%
emefiele is right, in the actual sense if he wants to chase inflation he should even increase the rates to meet up with the rising inflation but then what we have is stagflation which is were adeosun comes in, he can't be chasing inflation when nothing is done to stimulate growth in the country.
adeosun like obiano has done should give tax incentives and lower tax rates for certain commodities, that way inflation will be lowered thus reducing the MPR rate overtime.
don't mention USA or england here again, when Nigeria is even doing us a favour by having a Net interest rate of -3%. Rubbish
thank you for schooling these APC's sycophants on NL here.. Emefiele explained why CBN should not lower interest rate and suggests what should be done first, that is giving tax incentives to low income earners and tax the high income earners more, that way, there will be balance and stability in the system... But they are not seeing that rather, they spew their tribally induced hogwash here angry

mate let it be known that I don't support any political party but made a choice between the two front running candidates in the last election. This government isn't doing nor performing up to standard but that doesn't mean that the last administration is free from the huge corrupt charges hanging around it. Jonathan with help of friends killed this nation but this administration shouldn't use that as excuse to perform below expectation
Common be proud of your political inclination mate.. You are an APC supporter and youve been instrumental in the spread of their propaganda here, but just admit that you've seen through their lies and deciet hence, your new stand. That being said, all our past and present leaders are what killed this country not only GEJ.. I'm not holding foth for him because he is part of them and when we the citizens start holding our leaders accountable irrespective of the party they belong, the better for all of us.

Going by the way you are all spiting and rejecting TonyeBarcanista who dutifully served you all in the very recent past, don't be surprised if he turns his guns on you to finish off what remains of the party online once and for all.

Una no dey learn.
Which cross? TonyeBarcanista is inconsequential as far as PDP is concerned.. Who knows him in his ward back in Rivers State?.. What is he to PDP in Lagos where he resides? it's only online here that he massages his ego just because we gave him audience but he has dug his grave with his own hand. We will deal with him ruthlessly both online here and offline if he ever rears his head. He has been campaigning for YDP in some of his posts here, he should run to that party if he loves himself.. Nonsense.. Don't bother quoting me again because I won't reply you.
