shocked

Yes, he's a betrayer and a traitor. He betrayed the entire Yoruba tribe. Due to his ambition of becoming the president, he said nothing about the killing of the Yorubas by the Fulani terrorists. The good people of Yoruba tribe helplessly ran to faraway Benin republic and Cote D'Ivoire to seek succour , yet still, Tinubu refused to comment on it or lend a helping hands to his own people but ran to Zamfara and donate 50million to victims of terrorists attack.

Osibanjo didn't betrayed the thief, Osinbajo have the right to contest just like other Nigerians, provided you've what it takes. Tinubu betrayed the whole tribe, the tribe that made him who he's today.

you seems to be crying more than the bereaved! How much have you been paid to peddle these lies on NL? I see you everywhere Tinubu is posted and you spew the same shit every freaking time. Well, you are doing a good job you have been paid to do. Go home to you people and tell them how much of a sellout you are.

One mistake in your advice: The man should have been arrested! He might have been doing it to other girls in the past and get away with it. He probably will do it again.

If he was in Nigeria, many law firms will blacklist that girl from practicing.

He will use his power to subvert justice and she won't even have the courage to report.

Many women secretly suffer sexual abuse because of lack of employment.

even in the UK, the lady may never get a job in a law firm again unless a firm established and run by women. she is brave by reporting the case. only that she risked her career.

Lets leave sentiments aside, who has a better record of Governance? Forget tribalism and nepotism, we cannot repeat the same mistake again. Some says Tinubu is a drug-addict, what of the perpetually drunk GEJ who had no idea of what was going on in his Government while Diezianni was busy pillaging Nigeria?

I started watching yesterday afternoon.....ladies and gentlemen, I stopped at the scene where Lady K was celebrating her birthday! I realised sleeping was a better option for me cheesy

The film didn't flow at all

Me and my wife actually slept off around that scene too. We later went back to it in the evening and were sorely disappointed.

TV/Movies / Re: Chief Daddy 2 (Going For Broke)- Reviews And Ratings? by xenten: 1:48pm On Jan 02, 2022
safarigirl:
In the spirit of New Year Celebrations, Netflix was thoughtful enough to kick off 2022 with a second part to the highly grossing movie, Chief Daddy 2.

This movie is basically a continuation of Chief Daddy, a movie about a rather large family dealing with their internal conflicts at the death of the family's Patriarch, a man fondly called 'Chief Daddy'

Now, at the end of Part 1, there is an introduction of a new character. This character, who, we learn is named Laila at the beginning of Part 2, is played by Rahama Sadau.

Contrary to our collective expectations though, the inclusion of this new character, does not add any sort of depth to the storyline in the part 2.

Now, if you recall, the first part of Chief Daddy, comes to an end with the declaration that contrary to the expectations of the rather greedy members of the Beecroft family, they will not receive their shares of Chief Daddy's property just because they made nice with each other. In fact, there doesn't seem to be shares to be redeemed, something about an IPO and a Company takeover, I won't bore you with the technicalities.

Anyway, the second part begins with Laila, another estranged child of the dedicated philanderer, Chief Daddy, informing the rest of his family, that she will be taking charge of the company, as the rest of them are simply not competent enough.

Where did Laila appear from? We don't know. How did we get to this scene? We're still not sure....however, we at least know, that Laila's mother is named Maryamu, and she does not hold the status of 'legally married wife to the Chief'. That is all the information we need.

Laila is presented to us as something of the antagonist in this movie, so, ideally, the storyline should focus on her constantly sabotaging the rest of the family and the rest of them trying to overcome her as a team, right?

Wrong. See, for the 1h 35minutes duration of the movie, we only see Laila tap into her antagonist nature a couple of times, and the moments are so fleeting, so sudden even, it neither brings with it any shock or suspense value. It's just a scene.

As we are introduced to Laila, we are also introduced to a character we assume is her right-hand man at first, Prince Sonny (Uzor Arukwe). I am happy to let you all know that we do not see him betray her trust, we do not see him take advantage of his relationship with sisters Tinu and Teni, who are smitten by him, to supply her any shady information about the Beecroft family. In fact, he might have as well not been introduced alongside her, because there is barely any interaction between them after the first scene.

But far be it that Prince Sonny is the most unnecessary character in this movie, because we are still being haunted by Joro (Nedu Wazobia) and Chuchu (Chigurl), the clueless Event Planners from Chief Daddy 1.

I can go on all day, but let me state my main issues with this movie, beyond what has been mentioned already:

1. One of my main grouse with the Part 1 of Chief Daddy was a lack of story development, especially as regards the romance of Dammy and Adaora, the Part 2 only got worse on that front. Very poor story development. I compared it to a work done by 10 different writers, none of whom consulted each other. They just brought together their individual pieces and made a movie that simply didn't flow.

2. I would like to thank Dubai and the UAE for always coming through for Nollywood whenever they want to give us a little razzle dazzle so we barely notice a poor plotline, but it simply did not work this time. Dubai was unnecessary, but let us excuse it, based on possible MoUs signed. It was, however, not the only unnecessary part in this movie.

3. This one is special, because it is the second time EbonyLife has done this thing and we must call it out. WHY MUST YOU CARRY OVER A DISPENSABLE CHARACTER FROM PART 1 TO PART 2 OF A MOVIE?
Recall that in The Wedding Party 2, we had to deal with Saka's character once again at the airport, trying to board a flight he did not book, for a wedding he was not invited to, as if trying to stir up memories of when he crashed the wedding in Part 1. We also had to witness the MC from Wedding Party 1, played by AY, engage in a tussle for MC Supremacy in The Wedding Party 2, even though the second wedding was all the way in Dubai.
Now, in Chief Daddy 2, Joro and Chuchu, both of who planned the memorial party in Chief Daddy 1, have returned as Planners for the wedding of a supposedly rich and affluent superstar footballer, Dammy Baggio (Mawuli Gavor). Why? How? If he is as wealthy as his character is portrayed to be, how realistic is it, that he would put his wedding planning in the hands of these Bend-down-select event planners?
Were they necessary? No. Did they need to be carried over? No. Did they add to story development? No. Did they add to comic value? Not at all. Yet, here we are.

On a positive note, the setting was nice, from Lagos to London and Dubai, lighting was great, sound was awesome, music score was decent. There was heavy usage of Falz The Bahd Guy's tracks; they may have killed two birds with a stone by using a lead actor's music, possibly to sort some copyright issues. Very smart move in production. The general acting was decent. The script was as underwhelming as the plotline. No quotable quotes, no witty words. It gave nothing.

To be honest, if you haven't watched Part 1, good for you. Don't bother. If you have, and you wish to watch Part 2 either for curiosity or to fulfill all righteousness, make sure you use Free wifi, or someone else's data. It will hurt less.

Overall Rating: 4.5/10.

Please, if you've seen the movie. What are your thoughts and ratings?

the movie was all hypes and no real substance. how can someone just come out of the blues and buy over a supposedly multi-billionaire enterprise , especially a private one? I guess the writers did not sit down to flesh out the plots. I also feel the scenes were rushed. In Nigeria today, no two women who know each other will readily agreed to share a man of affluence without any ulterior motive(s) not to talk of two rich sisters. I see only Falz in the movie. MG was very stiff as if he was being forced into the role. My wife said MG is always stiff in Movies.

I can only rate the picture quality, the costumes and the beautiful Dubai Scenery.

General, it was a watered-down version of Chief Daddy 1. A Naija Christmas is a better movie.
Family / Re: I Hit My Husband By Mistake by xenten: 1:33am On Dec 10, 2021
from someone whose been married for over a decade, invite your parents and his over to your house, and kneel down before him and confess what you did to them and ask them to help you beg him if you still want to be married to him. Else, pack your load and leave him. He might be harbouring some sinister plan. Or He may decide to marry another woman.

You should have confronted him a long time ago before it degenerated to physical abuse. If you have a trusted Man of God, bring him into the matter. Your Husband might be cheating on you and comparing you to his mistress. You too, get something doing and value to your life and to the relationship.

Address these immediately before its too late.

Many Expatriates working and residing in Nigeria are being paid with Dollars sourced from our CBN at CBN rates. This is also wrong. In Ghana, Togo etc, Expatriates are paid in their Local Currencies. CBN should also enforced that.

10 years ago, 1 NGN = 3000CFA. today its 1 NGN = 1.3785542 CFA. Francophone countries do not have to devalue their currencies. They do not have any major export products. Ask me how they have been able to control inflation. You dont go to their country and open dorm accounts without central banks approval. allowing people access to FX indiscriminately, causes inflation because some people might be mopping up these fx to sabotage the economy. there are people storing their wealth in FX. CBN can handle all FX transactions through the banks. this will prevent hoarding.

My neighbor persuaded me to be school father to her school daughter since she finished her examination and travelled. We are both in final year, but the school daughter is in 100 level. We are living in the same lodge.

I am trying my best to provide for this girl because of exam injury, and we spent a lot of time together. She comes to my room and I stay in her room till late into the night. So recently I noticed that she gets angry whenever I have female visitors. She is even angry whenever I am nice towards other girls in the compound.

I am not in any relationship presently but I have couple of girls that we catch cruise together every now and then. Anytime a girl walk into our compound she will frown and ask me if the girl is my visitor. She is just my school daughter, and she is trying to interfere with my sex life. How can I handle this situation?

Fuucck her first and come and thank us later.

I have this girl I have been dating for 4 years and we are planning to get married to this year. But I notice she does not like to sacrifice. I mean, she is kind of selfish.

she is studying and i send her money aside the one the parent gives to her but if i request for a video call, she would ask me to send her data, if she comes to my house and i don't give her TP not minding that i gave her money some weeks/days back she would be angry.

Yesterday i booked a ticket for her to come to lagos from anambra, after booking she asked me to also send her some feeding money for the journey. I refused and asked her to take from the 20k I sent to her last 2 weeks, she then said " WHO PAYS FOR TP AND NOT GIVES FEEDING MONEY?

Long story short, I had to cancel the ticket. I have constantly complained about her selfishness  but no improvement .

what should i do?

Pascal programming language is a good introductory language to programming. It easy and can be used to teach all aspects of programming. Its better than BASIC language. By the way, there are modern variations of PASCAL like DELPHI.
