Miscellaneous:

Just get this fact straight & stop running your slack mouth ……… No other tribe can try what the ibos did for only 5months. But they did it for almost 3years..... over 3million ibos were killed in the war yet today they are still even more populous than ever before & the present generation of ibos hardly practise polygamy…… God is with them; I'll be frank with you.

For the records, I'm not related to the ibos in anyways.......

If you insist that there is sense in what you typed above, then you are definitely worse than the Ibos. Ask them if they want a repeat of what they went through, you will get your answer. I am not seeing any act of bravery in what they did. They only allowed emotions to cloud their better judgement. If your tribe wants to emulate them, let them go ahead. As for me and my Yoruba race, we are more sensible about self-preservation than the Ibosand probably your tribe. Idiot beast of no common sense.

There is nothing wrong feeling good about oneself. Biafra was a force to reckon. Entire Yoruba, Ijo, Edo, Eshan, Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ibira, Hausa, Fulani, kanuri, Igala, Idoma, Tiv, Angas, Nupe, Ogoja etc including USSR, Britain, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Canada, Australia, Egypt and Arab league’s of nation had to sweat for more than two years to subdue tiny Biafra. Yoruba would have capitulated at the first sight of a drunken soldier from northern region of Nigeria. It is true that cowards die many times before their actual death.

Feeling good about yourself and self delusion are two different things. If yoruba wants secession, we will go about it in a rational focused way so as to minimize casualties. You are your deluded tribesmen are still nursing the wounds till today. Wakeup to reality. I am proud to be a Yoruba man.

Check the Election figures from the eastern states. I am sure that the little votes GMB could get were from Hausas and Yorubas living in the east.

Our aim was not to attack Yorubas but to capture the capital of Nigeria which was Lagos. The war against Biafra was being planned and on Yorubaland hence the Biafran advance for Lagos.

We intended to capture the state and secure it from the Northerners.
To capture Yorubaland? that was your nemesis. Did we tell you we wanted secession? Ojukwu only sacrificed your people on the alter of his own personal ambition. Because they did not make him Head Of states as the most senior military person after the civil riots that ended the life of Ironsi.

you dont need to lie to prove anything, I haven't seen any Nigerian-Biafra war veteran that denied the fact that the ogbunigwe had such a terrifying and disastrous effect on the enemy.
The shore batteries was the nightmare of the N/N, especially at the Onicha sector of the war.
most of the military hardware Biafra used to prosecute the war were locally made.

Go and read The Nigerian Revolution and the Biafran War by Alex Madiebo, A Biafran War General.

Stop the chest beating already, the war was largely between the East and the North.

You are above yourselves only and not the Igbo. We are are a special race, blessed by God and will always thrive even in the face of daunting challenges, hatred and adversity. Deal with it!

that notion that you re better than others is what was the achilles heels of your ambition to realise your dream of a free biafra. you guys are so proud and lack humility. that is why you will continue to play second fiddles in nigerian politics until you realise you are no different from any other tribe in Nigeria.

you guys are still bitter losing the war that is why you did not vote for Buhari.

Your myopic perceptiion of the war did not allow you to realise that the problem is with you Igbo/Ibo nation as individuals from homes and as communities. you lack morals, you love money more than you even love your brothers. see an example. the only opportunity given to igbo nations to be number 3 in nigeria dusing obasanjo dispensation was rotated among the the five senators from the same geopolitcal zone all because of greed and ambitions.
Leave Lagos go and develop your bush called villages and states.

No, its cowardice. The wannabe general who gave his own embellished account of the war has many frustrations, he is very bitter but in his words, he just had to bottle it up. Its not called friendly, its called cowardice or slave mentality

Do you know the definition of cowardice? If we were cowards, we wont have won the war! Yoruba nation through wisdom and bravery won the Nigerian Civil war. We are not foolish like your people who believed it was bravely to disturb a sleeping dog.

I pray you dont see the anger of a Yoruba man. The day this Nigeria will divide is the day Yoruba decides to go our own way. We will do so without wasting the lives of our people like your egocentric leaders did.

why is col. Iluyomade complaining about the (mis)treatment of Yoruba officers, who actively participated in the Nigeria-Biafra war by their Hausa/Fulani masters?
True Biafra lost the war, but the technological and scientific ingenuity showcased by Biafra, has never been surpassed by any African nation. Biafra made rubbish of the western psych that africans are a bunch of retards by proving that a nation is as good as the other.
Where is the technology? the stupid ogbunigwe? lolz. grow up. those where contraptions where killed more biafrans soldiers than the Nigerian Army.

Because we allow you to stay and thrive in our land does not mean we are cowards. We love peace and progress that is why we are more developed than you and your brothers. With all the oil wealth that flows from your lands, you guys still live in creeks and on stagnant stinking ponds of waters. You fight and kill your own people all because of silly greed in the name of nepotistic visions of you controlling your oils. Where are those you silly brothers agitating for realization of the Niger-Delta dreams. They are now so fat they dont want to die. Did you read the write up at all? The Biafran soldiers thought that Ore was heavily enforced that is why they did not move beyond that bridge, if they had know that just 129 soldiers were there they would have easily overrun them and head straight for Lagos which was the target.

I laugh hard at the bold part, go and read about Major Okafor and how he completely destroyed Nigerian army second division during the war. We had a lot going against us then that is why we lost the war. If we had just a quarter of the weapons you guys had the outcome would have been different.

Which war did adekunle fight? He was busy shooting women & children within the outskirts of Biafra while the man went forward under Etuk. Do you know that Biafran forces destroyed one-third of adekunle's 3rd marine commando even before he could start operation OAU?

Obasanjo himself took a shot in the arse at some point when he had to flee battle.

If you are ever a student of history, you will realize that the very same reason Biafra went to war was the same reason they lost. Pride, too much more brawn than brains and stupid misplaced ambition. Read accounts of Igbo military leaders (The Nigerian Revolution and the Biafran War(Alex Madiebo)) and Chris Ali's The Federal Republic of the Nigerian Army.

For those of you who believe in the divisiveness of Nigeria, best of luck. But I tell you that the better condition you think you will get by going your own ways, you will never get it. Because the pride, the greed, the nepotism and personal ambitions plaguing the individual nations in Nigeria will still be the bane of such dream about any utopian Nation.

The war was uncalled for. Ojukwu provoked the war, but sadly, innocent children and women paid for it.

Please Romancelanders I need some advice, my mother's friend and her 22 Year old daughter are in Abuja for a couple of weeks, I offered to accommodate them, since the woman is a childhood friend of my mother. Now deep into their stay, the daughter started acting strange, she wears a provocative nightie and sometimes falls on my body, whenever we're watching TV, I have tried avoiding her yet to no avail. Now yesterday at 10:30pm, her mom had gone to bed, I offered my bedroom to them while I sleep in the guestroom. So by 10:30 I was watching a movie, believing that the girl had gone to bed, only for her to emerge stark naked! I do not want to fuucckk her because I see her as my kid sister, I retreated to my room and locked the door. Today she acted all innocent, but trouble struck when her mum went out to Garki, we were alone, and She did the cloth disappearing act again. I am confused, do I sleep with this girl?

Bleep her with condom. Do it and don't dwell on it!
