SALLYBERRY01:
Sad news
Very sad one at that. Since it's known the child is mentally unstable,he should have been taken to a psychiatric home. But this is Nigeria where spirituality thumps rationality.

Men that see that daughters as nothing and keep husling for male children don't know WhatsApp.
The worst a female daughter can do to a parent in most cases is get pregnant out of wedlock.
Ask all this charge and bail lawyers
So you haven't seen/heard where a female child killed her parents?

Politics / Re: CSOs Pull Out Of Tomorrow's NLC,TUC Nationwide Strike by ybalogs(m): 7:04am On Jun 03
*The NLC Strike*

I think it's pragmatic to deploy our business continuity plan and Communicate to staff about safety at times like this.

Critical employees should also be notified and their logistics guaranteed.

Maybe we can allow our employees to work from home.

It's also pragmatic to be liquid and keep cash at home.

It's wise to keep our children at home for tomorrow, too. If the children are writing WAEC, maybe it's better to move them to a residence close to the school.

It's better to prepare for a strike than assume the strike won't happen.

Walai:
Any government that places taxation above production is bound to fail.
Someone in this forum mentioned how the most conservative Yoruba psyche was affected by long years of powerful oppressive rulers who cannot be questioned.
I now understood the real reason why some ronus supported Buhari and are still supporting Tinubu.
Absolutely. It's all about taxing without taking advantage of our vast resources. The multinationals that came in are being forced to leave cos of the tax and exchange rates yet the solution is more tax and no form of production. It is really getting out of hands.

Please be very careful as you move around today. It's better to be safe than sorry. Taking today off to be sure of the severity of the strike wouldn't kill rather than wasting resources or encountering thugs.
Today will be a good Day hopefully.
