Business / Re: Dangote Refinery To Buy 24 Million Barrels Of US Crude Oil – Bloomberg by yewit37486: 2:30pm On May 16
Exousiang01:

Oga
Dangote refinery needs a feedstock of 6m barrels of crude.
Nigeria produces less than 2m barrels.
Remember Buhari took some loans with agreement to pay back with crude and we still need to sell crude so as to get FX, when you make this deductions how much crude do you think will be left for Dangote. Lets say 500k barrels, how many weeks will he wait so Nigeria can get him 6m Barrels of crude.
And he need this feedstock to remain steady, no to have it one month and not have it another.

Are Nigerians saying Dangote should close down his refinery because his country lacks the capacity to supply the raw materials.

Most companies in Nigeria import their raw materials. Most of the juice yoi drink the concentrates are imported, do we not have fruits in Nigeria?

Lets think and talk based on facts not emotions and assumptions

I am not debating any of the points raised, of course logically if his demand can't be met he has to source products elsewhere. My point is people need to speak to others who raise questions without resorting to insults, it's very uncouth.

I was only trying to emphasize how a thread should be if however you see it as derailing of thread that is your business. Na today una dey detail threads?

You will struggle because it is not your area of expertise so why should you pretend it is. No need to do that

You claim NNPCL has oil i n Nigeria

Tell how much oil does NNPCL have do you know? Can you give a figure

Many of you just talk from assumptions and often talk a lot of ignorant falsehoods and assumptions

You are busy insulting people for it being above their level of understanding, if truly you knew, you would have explained instead, since you know all.

I feel most people commenting here are from Rivers or South South. Just check the smooth flow of comments so far no insult. We can now see the difference between Obi supporters and others. If the thread were to be about Obi by now we will be on page 40 all riddled with their insults.

And you are the one trying to incite them now to scatter the thread. Can't you all grow up and stop derailing threads? Limit Obi and Tinubu's names to topics that concern them, it's really not that hard.

Marwa has really tried in NDLEA. Now that the death penalty has been introduced, let's see if that will deter people, although I doubt it as criminals will always be criminals.

How much has the artefacts in Oba of Benin made for the Benin Kingdom so far? Is there any artefacts these Swedish people want to return that sculptors in Benin cannot reproduce?

Why not allow the White man keep those artefacts and agree on a commission the museum they were displayed in Sweden will be remitting to the Benin Kingdom's account?

With that amount, you can sponsor the education of many people in Benin Kingdom, fix infrastructure, sponsor businesses and affect lives. We should be enterprising in this part of the world.

Good suggestion.. the only issue is that most museums tend to be free, so the opportunity to make income from it isn't really feasible.

They should just leave the poor boy alone.

His story is now a lesson to everyone on how to live their life, pick friends, relate with parents, colleagues and facing adversities. And the kind of girlfriend to have.

In short, He's the most unlucky guy ever.

He seemed like such an easygoing guy who just wanted to sing his songs and live a simple life. It's unfortunate he had the family he had and worse still ended up in the circle of someone like naira marley. May his soul rest in peace.

How long did the free education lasted?

Those who benefited from free education are the same people killing this country today. Every policy awo instituted are not in place anymore. The youths are what they because of institutionalisation of agbero culture( a system of reaping where you never sow).

Never thought of it that way but actually that's an accurate description - agberos collect money they did not work for from those that worked for it. It's almost like stealing to be honest.

Fat chance that will ever happen.

MMA is even far worse... That one is pure raw Gladiator violence.

Do you know how much sponsors spend annually on those blood sports?!! The fact that it is a multi-Billion Dollar industry means it won't end anytime soon.

They will simply write off such incidents as rare collateral damage and job hazards, which the boxers and fighters sign off on.

Personally, I believe average human beings, especially Europeans and Americans, have an innate desire to see violence and bloodshed.

See the high number of people who pay large sums of money to see these fights... Even unsanctioned underground death matches are highly attended annually.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I remember AJ and Ngannou being paid an insane amount for a fight in Saudi Arabia not too long ago.

I guess it's up to the boxers to make their choice - life or death. Even Mohammed Ali didn't enjoy his post retirement life, it's not worth it IMHO.

Ordinarily every "Christian" is expected to have their gaze fixed on Jesus and not on another "Christain". I am my saviour's brother and servant so how can you be bothered about me when my master is pleased with me.

In the last days the righteous will be judged by his faith....I hope you have read that too.

Well, all I will tell you is take a look at your post history and let your conscience be the judge.

I hate hypocrites and cannot pretend that I can stand them....unlike the righteousness guy, I don't believe in another rapture coming. I am simply a man saved by the grace of God found in Jesus, i have nailed myself to Christ Jesus....so if you slap me once, I will slap you twice and poke your eyes too while at it.

Basically, you have your own gospel. At least we know now, and won't expect you to behave in line with the gospel of Jesus Christ since that's not what you believe. Noted.

The first time I read a post by you here on Nairaland some years back I felt "happy" because you interpreted the Bible well on the topic but over these past years I feel "sad" because you're drifting away little by little. You are no longer writing under the leading of the Spirit of God as evidence today. So you mean to tell me that you couldn't find another word other than "FINGERED" to convey your message in your first paragraph? I'm sure a man filled with the spirit of God will not choose that porn-word or explicit word to express his thoughts....but as the Bible says; out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speak. I guess you cannot help yourself.

But I guess you too need to hear or remember that Jesus can come at any moment as we are at the end times indeed.

Hopefully, you will follow your own admonition too and be on the side of peace and love which would be reflected in your comments, rather than hatred.

25k.

But it is not every month I do that. I roll over the data.

My data usage is high because I streaming with my laptop and connect with TV. Obviously, if you use smart TV it will be cheaper.

Then about 3-4 phones connect to the router for data use too.

So that's why I use so much in a month. But I prefer it since I am not being billed for what I don't use (away at work all day).

You could also check out the 1 Terabyte, although that's an annual plan. 100k.

Maybe the basics. For the advanced stuff, you definitely still need a developer that understands the domain, understands what the robot produces and can possibly troubleshoot it if needed. Robots won't just make all the work disappear in a minute.

For now people are using AI to speed up software development, but in the near future all we’ll need to do is to describe what we want to a robot, and it will write the software for us maybe directly in machine code rather than all these programming languages

Being able to describe the problem statement in a clear implementable way is a skill in itself.
