Dude, Nnamdi Kanu was offered the 5 Igbo states to form his Biafra in 2017, when he was in prison in Abuja, and he rejected the offer, saying he must have Rivers state and Benue state too. Google it.

The entire Biafra thing is a resource grab scam which has nothing to do with Igbo freedom.

I didn't read that rubbish well initially, why should he accept 5 south east states? there are many Igbo tribes in 12 states of Nigeria and we are not going to abandon any of them, kiss the truth

Land Thief.

Biafra is limited only to the five leprous colonies of the SE.

Any inch further and you go see real shege.

We are not going to abandon any Igbo tribe out the south east, get it into your stupid skull kid grin

But the East already have their ‘country’.

It’s called the 5 Igbo states which many of you have fled!

Nigerian states today are almost countries of their own. The constitution now allows them to harness their natural resources, generate power, engage foreign partners and investors, and they are protected by the Nigerian military.

So nothing stops you from actualising conditions similar to an independent nation.

I think the real problem you have is a lack of self-belief in your capacity.

Or maybe you do lack capacity to develop your region.

Let me ask again:

If we give you your Biafra will you willingly return to it and remain within its five Ibo states?

Nothing like 5 south east state because it is mere geopolitical zone, we are not going to leave any Igbo tribe outside the 5 south east states for you.

What will happen if you demand your own country without the Igbos? I forget cowardliness is embedded in your tribe, spit

Treason is simply defined as "the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill or overthrow the sovereign or government."

In this context, "Treason Posts" means "any write-up or images that attempts to destroy or overthrown the sovereign or government of Nigeria."

The Nigerian criminal code for the South provides for Treason related offenses in its S. 37 to Section 49 whilst it is embodied in Section 410 to Section 415 of the Penal Code for the North. The offense of treason is punishable with death, while that of treasonable felony is punishable with life imprisonment.

Dear Nairalanders and Nigerians, especially youths, kindly avoid treason in promoting any so-called “coup in Nigeria” , as it is a high crime, on the same scale as joining Boko Haram, ISWAP, or any terror group.

Severe actions will also be taken upon any member of this forum who initiate such post.

Be warned.

FG threatens to block 2nd Niger Bridge

The Federal Government has lamented that the 2nd Niger Bridge may be blocked if miscreants continue to vandalise its metal components.

Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Mr. Mahmuda Mamman, stated this on Sunday, when he visited the bridge to ascertain the level of vandalisation.

He called on security agencies to intensity surveillance on the Bridge to curtail the activities of the miscreants, who he said were after the mental components.

He said: “We are here to see the level of vandalisation of the 2nd Niger Bridge. It was an unfortunate situation that all of us woke up to the trending news of vandalisation of some metal components on the bridge.

“This is a massive investment put up by the Federal Government to ease movement of goods and services to Nigeria. To me, free movement is a basic human right and all of us must take collective responsibility to safeguard it.

“We have interfaced with the contractor handling the project, Julius Berger, and it is really unfortunate. The Federal Government has actually done what it is supposed to do.

“We have written to security agencies concerned, asking them to intensify surveillance activities along the road so that such things will not happen.

“At the same time, host communities have a responsibility to play because safeguarding national asserts is not a responsibility of one man; it is a collective responsibility.

“What the miscreants are actually after are the metal components on the bridge; anything metal, the miscreants are after it.

“And at the end of the day, if care is not taken, the entire bridge will become unmotorable.

Video: I feel so happy, says first driver to cross Second Niger Bridge
“That is why it is good for us as stakeholders to make sure we safeguard this infrastructure in the interest of public good and the nation.”

On the delay in the completion of the project, he said: “We have interfaced with the contractor and he said the major challenge is security concerns.

“With the recent development, we are hoping that all things being equal, that is the commitment he gave us, in the next three weeks everything about the 2nd Niger Bridge will be completed.

“The bridge is still under maintenance by the construction company that built it and before the handing over, l am sure that most of the things that were vandalised are going to be replaced.
