Maybe if they truly repented for their wrongs during the Biafran War, then they would be treated like any other citizen of the Republic. Until then, how can anyone trust them?

Enugu and Onitsha are no one's property. Lagos is the eternal capital of Yorubaland.

From his actions we can see that this man is a great Patriot, a great Nigerian. For those commenting that patriotism is impossible because of the conditions of this country, remember that Nigeria is what Nigerians make of it. We all have a duty to this country. If this country isn't where it should be and we aren't doing anything to improve it, we only have ourselves to blame. God bless Nigeria, and let's make Nigeria great again! #MNGA

Libya doesn't even have a unified national govt talkless of national army. Just militant groups. The Nigerian Army, backed by Africa's largest economy and population, is unmatched on this continent.

Well, don't just talk, authorise the use of force: send the Nigerian Army through Niger and teach the Libyans an unforgettable lesson! Nigeria must be respected and feared in the world, and especially in Africa!

The government should invest in mental asylums so that people like you are not free to roam the streets and menace the safety of our society.
gatiano:
Nothing is arbitrary to our Black Ancestors and The Originators, Everything is consistent and simple. The universe is a very simple subject. It is the races theories and beliefs that are arbitrary and complex, so the earth is so twisted in total falsehood.

Esu-

There was this African man, newly arrived in a non-english speaking european country. He had gone partying with friends after work, not realizing that it was the 21st of april when skinheads across europe celebrate the birth of hitler and more importantly white-power. He was now to go back home, and there was only one route which he knew, a long road, about 100-150 metres long. This Nigerian man saw the crowd on that streets and without any help for interpretation, He recognized what hate/hatred was for the first time in his life. He finally understood that the hate and witches we Africans lament about everyday in their various villages were a very nice people who are being misunderstood.
He knew he might die that evening, there was no going back, all he could do was to hood up and walk silently straight.
After he had covered a few metres, a group of skins walked up to him and then-

Skinheads- Hello
Blackman- Hello
skins- How are you sir?
Blackman- Iam very well and strengthy, ready for a full fledged celebration (He was shocked, he could hardly say a word in that language)
skins- Nice, we are celebrating already.
Blackman- Absolutely, fuhrer doesn't like his soldiers dead-out (still shocked, A voice came from his head, relax and talk freely)
skins- understood sir, they laughed, and commended his style of speech and grammer. Do you care to join us for a drink and meet our other friends?
Blackman- Absolutely! but not right away, I need to attend to other things urgently and I might be back (then the voice from the inside his head said "walk".

He kept walking his way home thanking whatever just happened and thinking to himself, that the skins weren't just bad as he had heard from people (Africans sha! he thought, always scared of nothing) The voice again in his head said - Hmmm

He walked on a little further still within the road, then a building with a shop on its ground-floor, with a clear reflective glass mirror like; He just saw the mirror from his side view, with extreme shock, he turned to fully comprehend what was happening, he was almost going to go crazy now. He was ofcourse feeling as himself, being proud of the way he had just spoken a language he could hardly understand let alone speak, He was himself, but his reflection entirely different, his reflection was that of another skinhead, caucasian skinned, dressed in an old nazi general's uniform. Then the voice again, "xaxa", a short kind of laugh, said relax, walk; I am You, I am YOUR ESU.

Is Esu a trickster? Think well, like a creator that sees from above before you answer.

They say Esu is the God of translation, clearly so, He/She is. You know more than you can ever imagine, We Black people know all the languages in the universe.

Esu is BLACK. From Blackness/Darkness comes all things, even the green leaves.

The caucasian people know for a fact that Esu is Black, that is why in any of their hollywood movies or series, that role of Esu is always played by a Black actor.
1) Idris Elba as the gatekeeper in the movie "thor"
2)Morpheus as Neo's guide in the matrix
3) Falcon as captain america's partner. We Black people are called "Falcon People"- Bantshu/Bantu
As part of a plot against Captain America, the Red Skull uses the Cosmic Cube, a creation that allows its user to alter reality, to mentally fuse Wilson with Redwing, creating a "super-normal mental link" that would, with time and concentration, give Wilson broad powers over all birds.( wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falcon_(comics)).
We Africans are also called "Birds" unlike the beasts-non-blacks.

4)War machine played by Don Cheadle in iron man. read them up to see their roles and how they closely relate to the Character of Esu.

The reason why Esu is Black can also be view from cosmology.
When the last universe had completed it time, All the people in it came together as one mind in what the Elders called "Divine unity", In this state, I can see your mind and every other persons, as you would mine and all other person. Thus we became of one mind, yet still recognise our seperate individualities. The last universe became the now first earth situated in the center of the universe called -Sirius. This is the only Planet that is not tilted, it is perfectly at a 180 degrees because it was formed before the sun. Every other planets in the universe are tilted, because they are formed after the sun, and are a product of their suns.

When They(the Creators) came into this first earth, They clothed Themselves in the Blackness, thus they were Black. why? not because of racism, it was simply because all colours are enclosed in Black, and from it everything can be made.

They began to create and to expand the universe by condesing their mind (This is what people called created from nothing).
Their mind condensed first into magnetism, and magnetism condensed into electricity, and from electricity furtherly condensed into light and from light into Ether and from ether into gas, to liquid and finally solid(earth). 7 component, 7 is the number of completion. In school, we were only taught the 3 stages of matter (gas, liquid and solid) and in other esotheric knowledge taught only (earth, water, air and fire), but where did they all come from.

Magnetism--Electricity--Light--Ether--Gas--Liquid--Solid. You will notice that Ether is in the middle, It is ether that clothed all the other components within itself.
What is Ether? Ether is that substance that you see in that black night called "Space". Space serves as the gateway, all the planets and suns/stars float freely within ether/space, Esu is known as the gatekeeper.

There was light, a dark light before Ether. As sound can't be heard without air, so is it that light can ever be seen without ether. Without this ether, magnetism and electricity and light can not be seen or experienced, we can only feel their effect. without ether, there won't be gas, liquid and solid. Ether is Esu, does Esu has to be served before any other Orisa.

aaronson: Personally verbal english and written english has never been a problem, reason why? Because I take it as hobby to make word play, irony and metaphor eventhough I'm not a rapper, those are my verbal skills with a touch of phonetics with every words,I have no problem being honest to tell you chicks in my department often like chit chat with me because I'm good vocally and fluent verbally which makes my glow divine like a fountain flow. For further learning references, read a lot, listening to cnn,bbc and other top notch news broadcasters and lastly which works for me is listen to RAP,I'm talking hard core rap and little of commercial rappers too. *Not nigeria rappers but the US

Rappers tend to speak poor English. Conversationally, especially in the context of business, they are not known to be eloquent.

ochallo:

1. As a student, you would be doing yourself a lot of disservice trying to learn another language while studying. Talking from experience, it is not a good idea.

2. What are the chances of getting into an accredited turkish institution and who accepts turkish certificates in the west, would your certificate be written in English or in Turkish.

These weak points are the exact points that would take someone who has not sat down to weigh his options well and ask the right questions out of his country. What exactly are you pursuing and where do you hope to work? We african youths just do things with blind faith and only learn from bad experiences. I am just letting you look at the whole thing from a different angle which you wouldn't have on a normal day.

If you want to learn another language learn madarin chinese, spanish, Arabic or French. Those are languages that can take you over the world, certainly not turkish.

1. Of course, learning a language takes time, but there are also rewards. Most students would spend a semester or two on language alone, if they're not proficient enough to take courses in it.

2. If you're not getting in an accredited institution in the first place, you shouldn't even go. Unless you want to hustle in that country, then in that case Turkey would not be an ideal country to which to go.

Turkish is an important language in its own right. As a major economy, Turkey holds a lot of influence in Southeastern Europe, the Middle East, and East Africa. Also there are many Turkic countries (Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, etc.) which speak very similar languages and are increasingly becoming more important in the global economy.

That is dubai they can mentain it we can not mentain anything. We are not even sure of how our climate will be in 10 years time. So if dubai jump in to fire we too would like to jump in to fire ? We have to think carefully before we jump into unnecessary fantasy and be real with our selves. There are a lot of lands close to the sea in lagos that could have been used and it would have looked very nice.

I think the reason Eko is built from reclaimed land is largely symbolic; the builders want to portrait Eko Atlantic as definitively separate from the rest of Lagos and maybe even the rest of Nigeria. I heard in their ad that everything in Eko will be done according to the best practices, and that it will have its own power and water supply.

I do think Eko will be well-maintained, for this reason. It is not to be run by the Nigerian government or the Lagos state government, but by the private Chagoury Group. It's their own money (although I'm sure the Nigerian gov't generously helped them with low-interest loans and other incentives), so it's in their interest to keep it well-maintained and not sink back into the ocean.
Politics / Re: Eko Atlantic Is Starting To Rise by zabyx: 6:28pm On Dec 16, 2013
This looks promising and definitely reminds me of Dubai.

But there's one thing I can't get over or don't understand. Can someone explain to me why new land has to be created in the sea when there are large tracts of undeveloped land lying around in Lagos state (further inland, around the lagoon)? When Eko Atlantic becomes a raging success, it would be difficult and expensive to expand, whereas if it were built further inland, it could expand with ease.

ochallo: It still really bothers me why anyone would want to go and study in a non-english speaking country with a different culture. WHere it would be difficult to communicate with cab drivers, tomato sellers pretty much everybody without a sophisticated education. Even India that claims to be an english speaking country is plagued with that nasty sounding language called Hindi (especially in the north), i can only imagine what a country that doesn't speak english at all would be like.Even the so called teachers in this turkish universities would not be fluent in English and would speak it breaking all the laws of syntax and grammar till it becomes totally meaningless. Nigerians would just pack their things and just go anywhere. If you must travel, go to Ghana, south africa.

Plus the poster doesn't even know what to study, why are you gambling with your destiny,SMH

1. Language barrier isn't all that bad.
Turkish is actually a relatively easy language to learn. Also, you can learn another language and experience another culture in the process.

2. Turkish education is much less expensive than one in Britain or Australia or North America. It's much safer and pleasant than crime-ridden South Africa.

3. A diploma from an accredited Turkish institution, unlike a Ghanaian one, is widely accepted in the West, and by extension, in Nigeria.
