Politics / Thank God For Buhari by Zetra7: 3:35pm On Sep 25, 2021 |
Fellow southerners, sometimes in life it's mishaps, negativity, stiff oppositions and difficulties that charge us to act with full strength. Inother words, our enemies makes us better men. Buhari is a God sent to the south as without him , we will never know that we are in a deep pit and that we need strong determined leaders to stand firm and lead the people.. Since the inception of this country, only Obasanjo (not as head of state) has been a strong leader from the south whilst the north had many strong leaders (head of state) who intimidated the south, today Buhari has borrowed that leaf so to subjugate the south to eternal slavery. As the quest for southern presidency continues to heat up, the south in general should understand what is at set which is a strong determined leadership from the south. It's time to show the north who truly owns this nation, a replicate of what BUHARI has done is at best the minimum benchmark of any southern presidency. Thank goodness for men like Akeredolu who despite a member of the president's party still stands firm in the southern belief. The southern people has understand that there is a serious competition going on with the north, they understand now that each of the southern region deserves good representation and not power mongers and ass lickers all thanks to Buhari. They have understood that the north cares less of the south and sees them as just political foot stool, all thanks to Buhari.. Today , we are talking about VAT, regional security, restructuring, power devolution and so on all thanks to Buhari. This presidency is a blessing in a disguise for all the southerners. A time will come when we will remember that this presidency of Buhari was the turning point of our progress.. |
Politics / A Call For South West Support For Peter Obi by Zetra7: 6:06pm On Sep 24, 2021 |
Politics aside , it's time we the people of the south throw our weight on Peter Obi from south east. Let's stand together for unity and progress, am sure the people of the SE and SS knows his value, if the SW joins the wagon, we can then together present our candidate to the North. Am not here to blow the trumpet of Peter Obi, am not saying he is a saint or the saviour but the track record of this man speaks for itself. His stand before politics, his envying standards during his political era and his position after power definitely marked him out.. Osibanjo is a nice man, eminently qualified to be the president of this nation but let's be honest, the candidacy of Osigbanjo will create more problems in this country, the SE might feel neglected, the SS might feel cheated even the so called North will see it as an opportunity. The Northern elders forum has made their opinion clear, they will sell a candidate from the North presumably ATIKU, forget the drama playing in APC , Northern APC will tactical back Atiku, they did it before during Jonathan, despite been in PDP , they worked against Jonathan.. Am no longer interested in partisan politics, I stand for the right thing , the Asian world that I saw recently opened my eyes, these are countries that were rated with Nigeria , today they are fast moving ahead competing with the great powers.. Forget about TINUBU, ATIKU, WIKE AND THE REST OF THESE MEN, they're politicians only interested in their interest and nothing else.... Peter Obi, Osibanjo, Dr Okowa, Fashola, Okonjo Iweala, Adesina , these are the sort of men and women Southern Nigeria should look up for presidency and kind of calibre of people our youth and children should look up to.. South west , I call you on you to drop your quest for another presidency, vote an ibo man out of merit, 8 years of Obasanjo and 8 years of Osibanjo is enough for now in the spirit of brotherhood, anything less than that is a NORTHERN PRESIDENCY (both in APC and PDP) with either SE or SS as VP... Enough of a divided south, enough of playing games , will implore the southern governor's forum to boldly declare their support for a SE presidency, that will show that we are serious for our turn.. 21 Likes 4 Shares |

Politics / Peter Obi , Ibrahim Dankwambo And Akinwumi Adesina by Zetra7: 10:08am On Sep 18, 2021 |
As the wind of 2023 stirs, I have completely made of mind to play a role for the future of my nation.. In the midst of politics of interest , I will stand for the fairness and progress and if it doesn't work out, I will beat myself on the chest and say that I have done my best.. With that in mind, I will say it's the turn of the south to produce a Nigerian president therefore I nominate PETER OBI of the SE as the president with a Vice president of HASSAN DANKWAMBO from the NE and AKINWUMI ADESINA serving as the overall prime minister. I believe these 3 gentleman are capable of integrating and restructuring this nation with their individual but yet different managerial and political approach. Peter Obi as a well grounded business man cum politician understands the micro and macro economics as it directly affect the common man. Dankwambo also a politician but most importantly a nationally trained economist at the highest level will bring the experience of domestic economics.. The prime minister Adesina will bring a wealth of experience from international dimension as our nation needs all the wide support it needs to stand again with respect.. Please youths of Nigeria , shealt your sword and focus on the unity and progress of this nation.. I don't care about PDP or APC, I believe in individuals who mean well for this nation. It's scary of what this nation will become if we continue to worship the Buharis, Atikus, Tinubus , Orji Uzo Kauls , the wikes , Gandujes, Okorochas and the many of them whose only interest is power, money and fame. Our nation needs a united front to make it, no region should be despised, whatever evil we see today is not as a result of corruption but disunity. A united natiin fights corruption and all the evil that comes with it.. Do you know the accurate number of people that have died in just 7 years of this administration, am not talking about those that died due to accidents or poor health care , am talking about people killed by another people. This is as a result of disunity..... Nobody knows who will die tomorrow as a result of our poor leadership choices, I plead with all Nigerian youths on Nairaland, again I say Shealth your sword, let's all unite for the progress of the common man. 1 Like |

Yes he defected but so can any other politician in Nigeria, they are all dogs ... Nigerian youths should rise and take over the country, the power should belong to the people and not to political parties... Imagine ditching PDP and APC and having another party which will restrict any one of formerly APC or PDP... |
Politics / Governor Umahi - The Zenith Of Sycophancy by Zetra7: 2:34pm On Sep 16, 2021 |
Well, where do I begin? Not everyday do i take special notice of another person and try to decipher the rationale behind their action. Dave Umahi broke the straw yesterday with his speech about VAT and the agitations of the Igbos. For crying out loud whether your blind or not, there is a deep crisis between this administration and the people of the south east which will not improve the image of a dying nation.. As for VAT, when southerners are clinging together to stand up for their region , one man is out there messing it up. Wonder if he will even attend today's southern governor's meeting in Enugu. How can a governor of the same region act this way, same governor that has been cheering an opposition government even when in a different party, same governor that boldly displayed his help for an opposition party to win the presidency in his state, same man who declared Buhari's heart of gold and praying for another leader like him, same man who haboured herdsmen, same man endorsing Ali modu sherrif as the next APC chairman Gov Dave Umahi is the symbol of everything wrong with Nigeria, the kind of sycophancy that have kept this nation in limbo. Who will blame him, this is man who for 8 years was a deputy governor and another going 8 years as a governor, how will he understand the common man on the street. Partisan party aside, APC as a party should be careful of a man like Umahi, this is a very dangerous fella blinded by only his quest for power. As for his people, he will answer to them when the time comes... His quest is simply to be endorsed presidency or at most fall to a VP for a Northern presidency. It's a pity that some APC SW didnt see it coming but I tell you the truth , Dave Umahi is a gang member of the Buni, Bagudu and Badaru clan. Fear any man or friend who finds nothing wrong with you, who revels your perfection and who exualts even your weakness, that's man name should Dave Umuahi.. 1 Like |

Politics / Referendum In The South East Nigeria by Zetra7: 11:41am On Sep 10, 2021 |
For an international observer, how do you think a referendum will go in the South east part of Nigeria if given the opportunity? Many trend showed huge numbers of Igbos will support the idea of their own country Nevertheless, many have also argued that a greater number will prefer to remain. A research recorded less than 30 percent of the south westerners are really serious of having their own country.. Therefore, will like an honest opinion in percentage and rationale. |

Politics / Our Stuipd Fascination With Monarchs... Abolish It. by Zetra7: 3:41pm On Aug 25, 2021 |
For some, monarchs in Nigeria are to be exalted while for people like me, they ought to be abolished. Gaining independence in the 1960, Nigeria tended towards a democratic set up just like colonial master (Britian) but moved rapidly through series of experimental rule to start leaning towards an American's style of government. Why then do we want to fuse this type of government with another monarchical authorities.. This is over bloating our budgets and depleting the little resources left for development. Kings and queens require huge maintenance, it's pathetic that these set of ordinary men made gods depends on the state institution to survive without the state leveraging on their authority for progress..(Evidence since 1960) It's a cultural thing , I know but it should from either their pocket or the community that encourage it. As big as China and America, there is no single Monarch apart from the state yet they moved forward. We don't need kings and queens in Nigeria, even in the UK, there is only one royal family with authority yet here we have over 500 kings in Nigeria and yet proudly debate those with first class status or those with latest rolls Royce or private jets (same issue of pastors). I think we should start been serious as a Nation, we must accept where we are before we can get where we want to be, we are a very poor nation and therefore humility must reign. |

VEXT: As far am concern, Islam was same as Christians, in the past Christians kill and abhor anything against God and adopted a eye for an eye measure (old testament), Jesus seeing the future modernized Christians which abandoned the law of Moses. Islam on the other hand sticks mostly on the old testament as there is no new testament in the Koran, reformative clerics took it upon themselves to reform Islam but that's why there is Progressive Islams in some part of the world. But Northern Nigeria is still living in the past and have refused reformation just like the Taliban. 1 Like |

Watching the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and reflecting on the Islam of Northern Nigeria, I find that there is no different. From their killer Fulani herdsmen, Boko haram, ISWAP and all their ordinary citizens tactical giving their support, not to mention their elites chairing their interests.. Their sole purpose like Taliban is the total domination of this nation with their ideology, whether it's the North or South. Weeks ago, a popular Northern figure mentioned in a forum that the whole offshore oil technically belongs to the North. To give him credit, he smartly mentioned that based on Northern land mass, Nigeria as a whole benefitted from those extended from oil rich sea boundaries which is the standard in the United Nations.. My point is this, why are SW Muslims still affiliated to the North, these are two very different Islam despite in the umbrella of Sunni, one is purely liberal and progressive but the other is purely conservative and regressive (still on the war mandate of Usman Dan fodio).. SW Muslims should be ashamed of the Northern Muslims but what we are seeing now is a strong influence of the northern Muslims on the souther counterpart, when Baba Tinubu said that the North and SW are one, he's simply saying that the Northern Muslims and the SW Muslims are one. This is the danger the south face, having such a weak set of people among us, the south must be one just like the North is one. SW Muslims should consider breaking entirely from the Northern Muslims, Change your version of Islam officially and even consider other names, Taliban is a Muslim ideology, call your Islam whatever else but leaning on those who will fight Christians by just the perceived insult on Mohammad elsewhere is a NO NO.. It's simply creates a debacle for the South, today there is even an internal strife between SW Muslims and SW Christians..... 2 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Will Taliban Takeover Of Afghanistan Strengthen Jihad In Nigeria by Zetra7: 12:15pm On Aug 15, 2021 |
You might wonder what the Taliban has in common with Nigeria.. Let's first correlate : The Taliban government has a warm relationship with Al Qaeda who in turn swore allegiance to ISIS who is affiliated to Sub- Sahara ISWAP who recently have desposed Boko haram in Nigeria and now incharge.. For 20 years , Taliban have shown the resilience is the key , if they can break the US and their allies, they can break any government.. Post covid , most of the world's police (The big powers) are focused on home front and have no energy for any form of intervention, this has demoralised the war on terror.. Nigeria should be ready for an offensive it will come, just a matter of time as Taliban have motivated and rejuvenated each of this group.. The question now is, Is Nigeria doing enough These terror groups are not spirits, they are just humans like you and I, a decent person today can join these groups tomorrow out of frustration, it's a horrible feeling been let down by your government, or grow up in the street knowing you are labelled Alamajiri, having to hustle hard just to feed once a day or even take care of your family talkless of the future. Terror organisation in Nigeria is simply propelled by economic downturn and the high rate of nonchalant attitude from the leaders, their sole purpose is nnot just to kill or destroy but to seek their own state where the government have failed.. Again I warn, Nigeria should be ready as the current trajectories of our economy and social existence continue to regress with speed. A little message for the North - Islam in all it's form has TRUTH as a virtue, be truthful to your people , protecting Fulani herdsmen, marrying wives and having lots of children you can't cater for is a recipe for disaster. Repent... |

Sometimes I think we joke to much is this nation, don't think there is another country in this world who despise their strength and cling to their weakness more than Nigeria.. Of course , the result of our stupidity makes us the most corrupt, most poor and one of the worst case of insecurity.. I will be honest, Igbos as far as this nation is concerned as the most successful people no wonder we vowed not to let them leave. Losing the war and having to start afresh, Igbos rose and reclaimed their place in this country and even went beyond both within Africa and the whole world (Those who travel wide understands this ) This tribe despite called all manner of names still serve as a bridge , inhabiting virtually in the whole towns of this nation even in Baga (Boko haram inflicted area) and speaks more languages of other tribes. Why then would you stop them from trying a different approach with this country Even the world acknowledge their talent and today Okonjo iweala is in a zenith position.. Politics apart, an Igbo man must rule this nation one day, note it's a MUST unless they will eventually break away and that will be the end of Nigeria... If we appreciate Obama as a black man to rule America and push for black lives matters then bring it back home. As for 2023, if the south says they stand with a talented Igbo man, the north will follow suit. The North chose Buhari , he won so why can't the south choose a candidate of their own.. For political jobbers who in the name of tribal affiliation cling to their own, unless you're benefitting directly please let's try something different.. Atiku will not be so different from Buhari , Tinubu won't be too far from Obasanjo, we have seen them all since 1969 , let's try Igbos and see if we can get our breakthrough.. 2 Likes |

By the way, Peter Obi mentioned that if those infrastructures were worth it, they could have gone to our stock exchange and raise the cash. Borrowing unsustainable loans will never ever drive this nation forward, invest in education and SMEs is the way forward... Stopping using biden infrastructural policy, US is already an educated nation.. Compare ourselves with China , Bangladesh, India and Indonesia, these countries are seriously funding their SMEs and intellectual base.. Once the investment in SME matures with intelligent human resources, money will flow and infrastructure will naturally come.. All great infrastructures in China today was not from loans.... Instead of calling Peter Obi to help you in building the nation, you're turning it into politics.. The same goes for the broke ass Nigerians in this forum supporting a useless set of leaders, put hate aside and learn from men like Peter obi, you will certainly make it in life. To bring his macro economic view down to micro economics, you can't borrow unrealistic loans to build houses or buy cars instead focus the investment on your little hustle and education, trust me if it means educating yourself in IT, health or even going abroad to study a good course ,you will certainly reap from it.. 69 Likes 3 Shares |
