Remember Kano elections last time, Buhari won kano totally why Ganduje, an APC governor could not win and was rigged in via re-run. It clearly shows you that the people there vote who they decide and the governors you are relying on maybe irrelevant |

plaindealer:Yes, he is local champion because his influence was only in southwest. How was his party performing nationally? Answer this and stop grandstanding. I just gave you the performance of PDP, CPC and tinubu's ACN performance in the 2011 presidential election prior to the merger. Again see it below. You talk about southwest, will only southwest give him the president of the nigeria? Jonathan (PDP) Buhari (CPC) Ribadu (ACN) TOTAL 58.89% 31.98% 5.41% |
Politics / Re: Is Tinubu Ready For This Fight He Has Started ? by zikter(m): 9:34am On Jun 03, 2022 |
Kyase:You perfectly understand it. Just like I told someone on the other thread. Tinubu is a local champion in southwest politics, he is not strong nationally but is so full of himself. As of when Buhari was loosing elections, he was very popular more than any politician in Nigeria. It took State rigging by PDP to defeat him in some of those elections. Look at the stats below for 2011 election, it says a lot about ACN popularity in Nigeria under Tinubu. Jonathan (PDP) Buhari (CPC) Ribadu (ACN) TOTAL 58.89% 31.98% 5.41% |
Politics / Re: Tinubu: Buhari Was A Serial Loser Until I Made Him President, It Is Now My Turn by zikter(m): 9:13am On Jun 03, 2022 |
callme9mm:I do not completely agree with Tinubu. Yes his alliance with Buhari's CPC helped Buhari become president but he should not talk as if he singlehandedly did it. In those years Buhari was loosing elections, he was polling huge numbers. In fact if not because PDP high rigging tactics then, Buhari should have won one of those elections. In the alliance of tinubu's ACN and Buharis's CPC, CPC brought far more to the table than ACN. Tinubu political popularity was only in the southwest before his alliance with Buhari who was steadily winning elections in the north with large followership. Take a look at the statistics of the 2011 presidential election below and you will understand how Tinubu's ACN was rated across nigeria. Tinubu needs Buhari more than Buhari need him in nigerian politics. There was no one single politician as popular as Buhari in nigeria before he became the president. Even as of now with his poor leadership, his followership is still more than that of Tinubu. Jonathan (PDP) Buhari (CPC) Ribadu (ACN) TOTAL 58.89% 31.98% 5.41% 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: Samuel Uche: Army Queries Methodist Prelate Over Soldiers' Involvement In Kidnap by zikter(m): 6:45am On Jun 03, 2022 |
Kingspin:It is because the level of the capacity of arms carried by IPOB/ESN is no where near the what the monsters in north possess. Yes, i agree with you that billions are misappropriated in the fight against insecurity and that is why i said earlier that, the government is irresponsible in the fight. Some people in high places have turned it to a racket. Believe me, if you dig deep, it will shock you that this particular people embezzling this monies are not from one particular tribe or zone. They cut across all the zones and tribes, united in the evil. Their ineptitude then affects everyone. I am not even sure we have any IDP in the south here, the largest IDPs are in the north full of Hausa/Fulani people. And this is where I don't completely agree with the Fulani government conspiracy theory. Their people are the number one victim of the insecurity. What is happening in south is a direct consequence of government inability to handle the insecurity in the north leading to migration towards the relatively peaceful south. Now, competition for resources has gone up and then, clashes set in. Some lost their means of livelihood up north, either their cows rustle or they cannot go to their farms. They run away from the violence there, come down south and start doing crime, sometimes in collaboration with some criminal southerners. And just like the government failed to tackle insecurity up north, it is failing to do same in the south. That is all and nothing more. |
Politics / Re: Samuel Uche: Army Queries Methodist Prelate Over Soldiers' Involvement In Kidnap by zikter(m): 10:22pm On Jun 02, 2022 |
Kingspin:Then, the conspiracy is also against the so called Fulanis if Boko Haram that is killing, kidnapping and raping them in all those diversified ways is been released back to the society to continue doing same to them. Again, don't be economical with the truth about the army fighting ipob and Boko Haram. How many bombs has the army ever thrown against ipob if they have even thrown any? You cannot compare with the number of bombs thrown in Yobe, borno, Adamawa, Zamfara, Kaduna or katsina forests. The militarization of those places is multiple times more than what you can be found in the south. Emergency rule was even declared in some of those states at a point. How many time have we come here to blast the incompetence of the army when their bombs in the north kill innocent civilians in error? So many times. The number of innocent people killed by the army in the south is nothing compared to the north. Look, there is an overwhelming security situation which the government is handling irresponsibly and it is affecting everyone but even more to the Hausa/Fulani. The insecurity we see now, perpetrated by the Fulanis is consequence of what is happening up north. The people there are not secured and therefore moving southward resulting to numerous clashes over land and other attendant crimes. The conspiracy angle does not just hold water for me. |
Politics / Re: Samuel Uche: Army Queries Methodist Prelate Over Soldiers' Involvement In Kidnap by zikter(m): 5:59pm On Jun 02, 2022 |
Kingspin:And yet again, I refused to be drawn into the government conspiracy theory. Do you know how many of this same Fulani are kidnapped in Zamfara, Yobe etc daily? Some have abandoned their villages and some have fix tax they pay to kidnappers. Even Buhari's state and senatorial district are not spared. Is the Fulani government and security conspiring to suffer their people in that manner? I agreed there is a general security problem that the government has totally fail to curtail. There is no point bringing in in unnecessary theories. If the north which Fulani territory was free of this issues, I might have agreed with you. But they are having it even worst |
Politics / Re: Samuel Uche: Army Queries Methodist Prelate Over Soldiers' Involvement In Kidnap by zikter(m): 11:57am On Jun 02, 2022 |
Mayeldah:Yes, i completely agree with your point now. The leadership is a complete failure and should be called out. That should be the drive and not the believe of conspiracy. Even in north, there are people that voice out their disappointment with Buhari. However, our politicians are averse to resignation no matter how bad the situation is. They will never resign. |
Politics / Re: Samuel Uche: Army Queries Methodist Prelate Over Soldiers' Involvement In Kidnap by zikter(m): 10:49am On Jun 02, 2022 |
Mayeldah:In as much as people speculate about fulani conspiracy in our security forces, it is difficult to convince some of us. Look at the northern part of the country dominated by hausa/fulani, is the security situations there not worse? The kidnappings there cant be compared with down south. The same group of people, the hausa/fulani are being kidnaped in their hundreds. We insult Buhari that he is biased about insecurity to other tribes but how many times have we again insulted him about insecurity in his home state and even his senatorial zone? countless times right? so where is the conspiracy in the army exactly? The fulani army man abating kidnapping in Bayelsa has his own tribesman suffering the same fate in Zamfara, Katsina, Yobe, etc. It is not as if his people are protected any more than the people from another tribe. My opinion is that, we have a general security failure and if we must emphasize, it is worst in the region dominated by hausa/fulani. We are having it far better in the south here. |
Politics / Re: Samuel Uche: Army Queries Methodist Prelate Over Soldiers' Involvement In Kidnap by zikter(m): 10:01am On Jun 02, 2022 |
Kingspin:This is one of the issues we have in Africa as a whole. Nobody is willing to provide credible information to back up allegations. If you accuse the army, that is no problem. It could be that some of their rank and file are complicit. Where I have an issue is this; the top military brass has noted the accusation and express willingness to investigate. How do you want them to do the investigation without adequate brief from the accuser? The investigation will require description of what the eye witness saw and can remember. All these emotional outburst we always have on issues will not help anyone. In abroad that we make so much reference to, their citizens are the most important part of crime fighting by volunteering information. Even if we are afraid to volunteer it to security agencies, we should not complain when we voice out somethings and they seek more information from us. |

Kingspin:I agree with you. So let me ask, how is the army going to clear its name in this particular instance without talking to the man who made the accusation? If the army must clear its name, then, the man must cooperate with them. No two ways about it 2 Likes 1 Share |

Those criminals you see are quite brilliant and they have a whole lot of time to think, plan and carried out the unthinkable. Normally, someone like Kyari should not be in the same place with them. He put a lot of them there so he is automatically a high profile target and trust me, it is just a matter of time before something bad happens to him if he is still left there 1 Like |

Which of those services you mentioned go on sabbatical leave? there are other related stuffs like that not programmed on IPPIS. Again IPPIS is not the only reason for their strike, infact they started striking before IPPIS issue. Underfunding of the Universities and proliferation of universities while the existing ones are grossly underfunded. For me, ASUU has a genuine case, our public universities are nothing to write home about. It either the government adequately fund the universities or parents pay more fees. |

ictplotter:Please, what products or sectors does Dangote monopolize? He has cement-there are others producing cement too. If you wish to buy cement, you can buy other brands you wish apart from him. Sugar? BUA is there also, just like cement, you can access others in the market. Car assembly- You hardly hear about his car assembly venture. Innoson is what we hear. Dangote is not even a market leader here, Let alone monopoly. Nodles- Indomie even acquired his nodles lines if I can remember correctly. He couldn't do well in the market. Rice- There are a thousand and one rice factories doing well. Nothing like monopoly here. Tomatoes processing- is this his factory still functional? I know he is not even a market leader. Oil and gas- he is just entering the market. Some people acquired licences but didn't do anything before he started his refinery. Once he is done now, we will all cry monopoly forgetting some people collected licenses to go and sleep. We can go on and on. Yes, Dangote is a market leader in some sectors but he has not monopolize them. He has competitors in such sectors. 4 Likes 1 Share |
