I even got mail from NVC- Wednesday 05/Feb/2020, telling me I am Documentarily Qualified, that they are working with US Embassy in Nigeria to schedule an interview for me soonest.

I keep my hand crossed and watch out how this plays out..

Please i want to know if it’s advisable for my wife who is an American citizen go ahead with filing a petition for me, by the way we got traditionally and lawfully married in dec 2019; or do i consider applying for my Masters and get married to her again in a American court if i eventually get lucky in obtaining a student visa.

I will advice you try the student visa first before trying to apply for a spousal visa, if you get denied then start spousal visa asap.

Exactly.... The ban has exceptions. Our problem is that we don't read between lines. The ban doesn't concern some people. Please let's stop panicking OK. It is well already.

But what's the relevance, he doesn't seem to want to live in the US, if he applies and gets the green card, they can revoke it if he spends to much time outside the US.

No visas only those with visas already can travel.

Spousal visa is being approved for countries under visa restrictions, Iran, Iraq and others have been obtaining spousal visa through the waiver program, although only a few are being approved.

Only 6 was approved in a while

I guess immigration stops for now.
