What makes a phenomenon "generally accepted" or "natural", is it that some higher power appeared to us all in a dream and lectures us on how to put our phallus into a woman?.


Natural principles governing human activities are not pre-ordained by some metaphysical force of nature, instead, they exist as a result of human cultural evolutionary adaptations that accumulated to become social myths or social norms.


For example, the first man saw the first woman, either serendipitously or intentionally, he discovers that his manhood gets erect due to the woman's proximity or unclothedness (a function of his hormones), he ends up grabbing her, somehow, he inserts his manhood and notices how pleasurable it is. The rest is history. Babies are born, but they (the primitive humans) probably can't understand the correlation between sex and conception at that stage, so they chalk it up as a norm that the women are to birth out babies at a stage. Later, after a while, they suspect and confirm that sex is indeed the cause of babies, and thus, it is agreed that sex can only be had with the opposite sex and the purpose is to make new little humans.


The above is one stage of human social and cultural evolution. Now we have found out that sex can also be had between same sex, and that sex is not just for procreation alone. That is another stage of human cultural evolution.



So, what is considered "natural", can be subjected to change as the human society progresses into history. It was still natural that blacks were considered sub-human barely 200 years ago, today it is no longer normal. So, humanity collectively agrees on what is natural, when we don't agree, then the subject is not natural.




As for science and technological advancement, these are manifestation of the human sociocultural evolution. Evolution is not just about science and technology, it covers everything from biological evolution to social evolution.

I don't know how a person who is probably educated will be equating paedophilia or necrophilia or beastiality to homosexuality, can animal or dead people give consent?..... Marriage or sex is between two consenting people who have full awareness of the consequences of their actions. Necrophilia, paedophilia and beastiality don't fall into that category.




Your objections have no effect on ideas like homosexuality, whether you acknowledge it or not, it is a social phenomenon and as humanity progresses, so will elements within our cultures and ideology.
