Crime / Re: Tension In Osogbo Over Rising Cases Of Missing Persons, Ritual Killings by Zither(m): 12:25pm On Aug 06, 2017 |
nextprince, you fall my hand. Seriously. I was already warming up to you thinking you were different from your Yoruba brothers and sisters only for my brothers to open my eyes to your distasteful hypocrisy. If this report were the other way round you wouldn't be preaching peace and tolerance as you do now. You are a big disappointment. I don't know if there's any Yoruba person on this forum without a tribalistic inclination to reports. They are all the same. Mods, I see your handiwork. You delete posts when they are offensive to your people but leave the posts when they are offensive to the Igbos. Be fair and practical in your dealings to be transparent in your actions, not acting in ways that show you are clearly tribalistic like the majority of the forumites. @ topic, the West now faces serious dangers that threaten their survival. Ritualists and badoo cultists who have eliminated scores of their own people yet they put all their focus on Ipob youths who do not represent the majority of the Igbos. It is like channeling hatred towards the Yorubas for the statements made by the leader of YOLICOM in the South West. Even though I disagree with many utterances of Nnamdi Kanu I recognize the fact that he speaks the truth concerning the state of affairs in the country as it affects every man especially the Igbos. I won't make the mistake of telling my Igbo brothers not to rejoice at this report. Just as the Yorubas have had their field day mocking the Igbos at any news that puts them in bad light you cannot deny the Igbos their right to rejoice. I wish we were friends and not enemies but the Yorubas who started this fire of name calling (I was aware when it began with calling us Igbos) should quench it and the Igbos will respond in kind. Personally, I don't use names on any tribes but will tell you my mind without mincing words. 1 Like |

Resourceful, Ingenious, Illustrious, and Industrious tribe of Africa. Greatness is a birthmark of the Igbo people. We Igbo people are like a beautiful river that sparkles with beauty, creativity, knowledge and various inexhaustible solid and abstract gems God buried in us that are yet to be discovered. No wonder we are the Land of the rising Sun. |

Alcatraz001: How unashamedly hypocritical to give your full support to the quit notice issued to the Igbos by the Northerners but vehemently oppose the secession agitations by the same Igbos. If you are really serious in wishing the Igbos leave your states then support them so that they get Biafra and see if they won't leave as there would be little justification for their continued stay in foreign states. If you can't do that then stop blabbing and making noise as if you get an Oscar for speaking gibberish. @ the bolded, at least you are aware of the implication of the current looming crisis. 2 Likes |

hahahahaha. What happened to the spirit behind the founding of the NYSC scheme? It did not stop the second civil war from brewing. Some people are quick to blame Nnamdi Kanu's utterances for this recent state of things. I disagree. While I disagree with Nnamdi Kanu's utterances it has nothing to do with the violent and bloodthirsty nature of the Northerners who use it as an excuse to satisfy their blood lust. While Oba Akiolu is known for much worse hate, genocidal speech against the Igbos we have never repaid the Yoruba people in kind who reside in any of the Eastern states of the country. Since nothing seems to be put into place by way of stemming the tide of this impending tribal clash. It can only mean one thing - Nigeria is ripe for disintegration. 2 Likes |

40kobo77: Why do you keep suffering prolonged depression over matters concerning the Igbos? Anytime the word 'Igbos' is mentioned in any report you develop cardiac arrest while slaving to your cancerous addiction to antagonize people who care less and are ignorant of your inconsequential existence. Your obsession with Igbo matters is a sure sign of psychological crisis. Go and seek help now that you can before it becomes full blown insanity. The Igbos are not your problem; you are. 6 Likes |

This has been a subject of decades of cultural, scientific, and archeological researches into the undeniable link tying the Igbos to their Jewish ancestry and more have been given by way of physical pieces of evidence in support of this fact. This writeup, though a scratch on the surface of the subject, is a condensed version of arguments, written or passed down, in support of this view and it is compelling. Needless to call names as some are in the habit of doing, it is a display of crass ignorance to dispute this fact knowing that much has been written by a number of British writers who having thoroughly investigated these claims published books confirming their in depth study of the common link between the Igbos and the Jews. In essence, Op, kudos for taking your time to bring this piece of information to public light. 4 Likes |

Never marry anyone out of pity. They won't pity you when they make you miserable and go through physical and emotional trauma in the marriage. In all such cases, your pity quickly turns to regrets. Love is not the first factor to consider when considering a future partner. Always go for that someone who completes you, inspires you, supports you, prays with you and for you, cheers you on, makes you happy whenever your wandering thoughts perch on her, who looks to your interests as though they are hers or his, makes sacrifices for your welfare and success, respects you, places great value on your company and friendship, builds you up and above all loves you selflessly. Truly, such spouse is hard to come by but through prayer and patience God will connect you with such person meant for you. I wish you all the best in this phase of your life. One thing though is that when you asked her if the tables were turned and you had her condition and you sought to know if she would marry you her reply in the negative would have made you rethink your decision to marry her as it betrayed her selfish acceptance to the marriage because you were not really her choice but an available option by way of circumstances beyond her control. Oh well, you were on a rescue mission so that did not carry much of a weight towards reconsideration. Wish you both all the best. 6 Likes |

See the Yorubas all masturbating and climaxing over this piece of news but they will be quick to preach unity when the South-South issues a similar ultimatum to the North and West. Truly, the West and North are made for each other. I almost forgot. Yorubas in the North, there's no need for you guys to panick. Northerners have a way of telling Igbos from Yorubas so you don't have anything to worry about. How do I know? The joyful glee on the faces of the Yorubas dancing in this thread should hint that they are safe from harm come October 1. To my Igbo people, please o return home. Life does not have duplicate. Lesson learnt….North or West home is the best. 6 Likes |

I am appalled at the way the Yorubas resent this piece of news like it wasn't expected. They voiced their evil support for the Northerners when they issued an ultimatum to the Igbos to vacate their region before October 1, the same Northerners that have the habit of slaughtering them for fun while the Igbos have always lived peacefully with them. The Yorubas will be the worst hit because they lose on every side. The tables have turned on them badly. As for the Northerners, the Igbos have done nothing to provoke your unjust ultimatum but since it is in your nature to resort to violence at any slight opportunity we are not surprised or perturbed but as it is always the case in nature you'll reap abundantly what you sow. The tides have turned on you. 23 Likes 2 Shares |

When Christians lived a penniless life in the past to serve God effectively the world mocked them and called them church rats. Today they live affluently just as God said in His Word that He wants us Christians prosperous the world now calls them thieves and scammers. Truly, the world is confused. 1 Like 1 Share |

Religion / Re: Why Do The Say God Love Everyone Equally When Its Not So? by Zither(m): 8:12am On Jul 09, 2017 |
God loves everyone equally. That is a solid fact. Sometimes, a person's way may make God shower him or her with much love but it does not mean He won't shower others with the same love if they TOUCH His heart and it does not mean He won't discipline those He loves where it is necessary. He chastises whom He loves was seen in the lives of Moses and king David who people believe were God's favourites but when they messed up God's hand of discipline descended heavily on them to let them and the world know that He has no favourites (see Acts 10:34 and Romans 2:11). Whatever He does for one of His children He will do for all of His children. |

You will never hear this kind of unfortunate event happening in developed countries but it is a "normal" thing in this country governed by evil, ambitious and selfish people who amass the wealth meant for the betterment and improvement of the living conditions of the masses for themselves. They are so hell bent on taxing our lives that if it were possible they would impose taxes on the air we breathe yet they cannot provide steady power supply despite all the foreign loans and IGR. People keep dying from generator fumes because of greedy, corrupt leaders. Why is the provision of steady power supply a herculean task for this government as with past governments even with all the human, financial and material resources at their disposal? How many more will be sacrificed to epileptic power supply and perpetual darkness before they realize it is a clear and present danger that must be tackled with the same zeal as one makes efforts to stop fire from destroying a building? Never show too much love to a lady. She will waste excess love and quickly grow tired of it. Too much of everything is bad. Make her desire it. Never deny her right to your love but give her only enough for the moment. Once in a while spoil her with love but let her know you never hesitate to be firm whenever the occasion calls for it. Be the man. Congrats on your new found wisdom. I like especially the one where you said love is never enough. This has always been my personal opinion. Hope your marriage turns out better. |

Marriage is not for everybody. Besides, we can all give reasons for the need to get married but marry someone for a totally different reason in the end. I know this because life is not as straight forward as we think. In fact, this question is quite difficult to answer. |

Family / Re: Would You Tolerate Your Wife on this issue? by Zither(m): 10:02am On Jul 03, 2017 |
Your wife is plain lazy. Your mother has no business taking any responsibility for your kids whenever your wife needs to attend to her business affairs. The kids are your responsibility (wife and husband). Your, mother is under no obligation to care for your kids but she does that out of a kind heart and because of blood ties to you, her son, and her grand kids. Let her know her limits so she doesn't step beyond her bounds, especially when it concerns passing the responsibility of taking care of the kids to your mother. Any mother would willingly and gladly do that but not when she is treated with disrespect and ungratefulness in the process of asking her to care for the kids. Even single dads and mums do a magnificent job of bringing up their kids properly just as they combine that with other business and personal affairs they have to deal with daily. Here, your wife has you to help her in raising the kids but she is so rude that she demands your mother, a third party, take up the responsibility as well. Asking help is quite different from demanding it. One is polite, one is rude. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Download only if you understand the Arabic language. And Op, I just watched it but there was nothing like demon possession. They are just pictures of ghosts caught in camera, not demon possession as you would falsely have us believe. There are tons of such videos in youtube. Even much more scary than this. Besides, one can only be careful when taking pictures or selfies in order to avoid the possibility of physical accidents which may result in the loss of one's life or physical harm. Other than that, being careful when taking pictures or selfies to avoid the possibility of a ghost appearing in them is just doing oneself great psychological harm. Note : I had to endure all that gibberish and deleted it immediately after it ended. |

Phonefanatic: Start from somewhere. Anywhere. Begin by asking God to help you believe in Him more. Take a step....then another step. Don't be in a haste to make strides. One little step of faith after another....and before you realize it you have covered a very good distance in your spiritual growth. Read books by seasoned giants of the Faith in addition to reading your Bible daily. Pray regularly. Be persistent and consistent in maintaining your daily spiritual exercises. Tap from the spiritual knowledge base of other believers and couple that with filling your mind with the things of God. It will take time but you will get there if you don't give up. No rush when it comes to seeking and following God. God is never in a hurry. He will order the steps of a righteous man. I am not a so-called expert in the things of God. I am still learning like many others; there is no end to learning. I have only given you some of the things that have helped me in my spiritual walk in Christ. Like I said, one baby step after another will make you a mature believer in time. |
