netotse:

as per the bolded, cant you get yourself posted to PHCN? if you can, pick transmission, they have better engineers than distribution by far. . .if you're in PHCN you'll be given the chance to do anything you want to. . .in every station there are the layabouts and the hardworkers.

thx a lot netotse, u guys are simply amazing, keep up d good work

AjanleKoko:

I need to hire someone on contract basis for a project I want to do early next year.
The person should have good technical experience with automotive electronics. Preferably an installer, someone who knows how to install vehicle add-ons, like alarms/security, tracking, installation of DVD screens in cars, and whatnot. No specific qualification is required if you know your stuff.

Identify yourself here if you fit the bill. I'll be getting in touch.

Vicjustice:

Take these points into account:
*Be prepared to always watch your back whenever a person walks behind you as the Skin-Head racists there are extremely physical and can attack you with deadly force.
* Always make sure you don't walk alone at night or in an empty street during day time.
* Always make sure you're fit and athletic enough to enable you run fast for your life whenever you're being chased in the streets by their Skin-Head racists.
* Prepare yourself to always elude banana missiles that would be thrown anonymously at you in the streets from storey windows.
* Be prepared to get familiar with the "Hail Hitler" salute, and also with the name "Makaka" (Russian word for Monkey) without protest as protesting them may cost you blood.
* You'd learn to be appreciative whenever someone says to your face "Go home Nigger" or calls you "Makaka" because, the same person could have shot or stabbed you and ran away.
* Be prepared to be mockingly offered bananas occasionally, and know that you won't have any police to report the abuses to as there is no law in place against racism in Ukraine.
* Ensure that you have enough funding from Africa to maintain yourself as you would never find a job how much more to talk about its poor wages ranging from 754 to 900 Ukrainian Hryvnia (about 70 to 85 Euros) a month.
* Be prepared to sometimes sleep in extremely cold room during their biting winter as you might find it difficult to pay for the Soviet style central heater.
* Be prepared to study in an ancient Greek style alphabets
* Bear in mind that your education certificate will not be recognised in EU countries as you will definitely have to upgrade.
* Bear in mind that you would have to return to Africa as soon as you finished your education because, you would not like to become a wayward person like many stranded and frustrated Africans before you.
* If you're not yet married, then, you may benefit from the only good thing that i reckon about them, they have some of the most beautiful women in the world: tall, slim, blonde an elegant sexy girls who crave for black guys.

well said man,,,,no single error in this list.you are definitely an experienced one,

yemmy27:

Hello,Dont even think of going to Belarus!!They dont have any international university. They are more or less like Russians,I have a friend that went there some years back ,Believe me he spent just 5 days and ran back home.He Said when he wants to buy something to eat ,he find it difficult to explain to them because they dont speak english, when u ask them anything the only language they understand is No NO NO, but when u tell them Ya hasu Cola, Lol they understand that!Pls dont go there ,No job ,99.5% racist. If you want to go and study abroad search for a country where there are lots of blacks that you can interact with not country like Belarus. That is why they did not reply to the message u sent to them because they dont understand and they dont want someone like u in their country, most of their universities is meant for their citizen and those who understand and can speak their languages.Thank you!

lol,,,u sure hate Belarus. Well yes u are right, have been here schooling for quite a while and all u said abt no jobs, racists, language barrier is quite true.issue is,if a person wants to just school,Belarus is ok cos it's a cheap and easy place to live in,if u want anything more than just schooling no near here.girls are really pretty here though.lol
Travel / Re: Belarus Student Invitation by ziyaun: 7:49pm On Jun 21, 2011
you want to school in belarus or u have other plans in mind?? well if u really want to study in belarus u have to contact agents who work with the schools, you pay them and get invited, thats after fees, pretty easy procedure

AjanleKoko:

Try some of the various science and tech agencies in Abuja. There is a biotech agency I know about. Sorry I don't know anybody there, but you can just take a gamble and show up in some of those places. You might be lucky and find someone who can help.

mister ajanlekoko, guess u wouldnt remember me but i do read ur posts a lot.u sure are one intelligent individual.well i am an electrical engr(power),just finished my msc(power) and am due for youth service this october.been away from 9ja quite a while so i am pretty rusty on whats up in the labour market and so on.i really need a place where i can get some valuable experience in electrical engr during my nysc year, pay isnt my biggest problem now, experience is cos apart from school practicals i am really low on that.u seem to know a lot about the engineering field in nigeria and i would be really grateful if u could direct me a lil.if netotse sees this too please throw in a few words, thanks a lot guys

Religion / Re: Nigerians And God (a Must Read!) by ziyaun: 6:40pm On Mar 28, 2011
el_cij:

I think "God" is one of the biggest problems we have in Nigeria and I'll explain: Young, intelligent, active men and women in Nigeria today will rather "pray for God to help us" than actually take concrete and decisive actions to help themselves and others.

Billions are pumped into churches for fueling pastors private jets, tv programs, revivals, camps, and all sorts of economic sinks rather than invested in entrepreneurial activities that will gainfully employ people and contribute to the economy. If you understand what I'm saying cool, if you don't please don't preach to me, I can guarantee it will fall on deaf ears,

religion is a problem in this country.

very well said.totally agree
Politics / Re: Patience Jonathan Unable To Read Own Speech by ziyaun: 1:47pm On Jan 28, 2011
personally i also find it funny when our first lady makes all them blunders on national television,i wouldnt lie about that,it could be embarrassing, but on the other hand,if we read thru, lots of comments here judging her arent in good english either, well we would say they are mere typos.my point, to me this woman is doing a lot for women, children and as well running a great campaign for her husband,i really think thats a lot more important than speaking big grammar like patrick obahiagbon and do absolutely nothing for the people.as a first lady dame patience definitely has a good score.no be english wan change nigeria, only hard work will and she is hardworking.leave d woman make she speak anything she like jare
Education / Re: University Graduates Pt1. Contributions Are Welcomed: by ziyaun: 1:35pm On Nov 28, 2010
banjorin89:

It amazes me when i hear some so-called university graduates speak english which is our official language in Nigeria, one begins to ask if this set of people actually passed through the institutions they claim. But the truth is that most actually passed through institutions and have failed to allow their institutions pass through them. My heart bleeds because things are not getting better as such students spend their school days in huliganism, cultism and prostitution amongst other vices that distract them, rather than facing the school academic, social and moral curriculum. Our parent are not even helping situations as they neglet their own duties as a result of laziness,

huliganism, neglet, our parent, and u are insulting other people,,very funny
