Greetings everyone ! Please, I am new here . I just came returned from Tsl France Lagos and my visa was denied reason they gave me ; there are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the member states before the visa expires. And they also stated that I can appeal against my refusal of visa . I seek for a week vacation as I have 3 weeks leave from my place of work . I submitted all the essential details , including my land document . I have a 7 year old son whom I added hiz pucture . I have been to Maldives, Mauritius , UAE, Kenya, Abidjan, Lomé etc I have never stayed more than 2 weeks in my previous vacations and I am not trying to elope as I have a good job here and my son . Please, can someone aid me out on how to go with the Appeal . Possibly if there’s any EU states that will grant me visa to apply . I did wish to spend my leave in any of the EU states . Thanks 1 Like |

Congratulations! Can someone assist by providing the current visa fees in addition to any other costs charged by TLS? I applied in 2022 and I am sure this would have changed from then. Thank you |

Visa fees as of April 19 was 123,550. Appointment booking would cost almost 49k then travel health insurance. Just budget like 200k for everything. LadyCaplin: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Good day everyone. Can someone guide me on how to go about collecting my passport from the French Consulate? I applied for a visitor's visa since April 19 and I am yet to get a response. Though I called the embassy last Monday and I was asked to send an email which I did and 2 days later I checked in with TLS and I was told my passport was yet to be returned. Now I need that passport very urgently for another trip before the visa expires. How do I go about this? |

Good morning, I mistakenly booked an appointment for Tuesday and the payment failed and now I have been trying to modify it but to no avail. Can I create a different application and choose my required day using same email or i should create another email? |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Zoey1: 9:05am On May 20 |
1. You can’t use same email 2. It won’t allow you attach same passport and phone number. 3. Make another application with another email, then call TLS, it will be submitted for you and appointment made. 4. The other one will expire in 10days . 5. I don’t know why they refused to cancel or give an option to do that rather than make applicants go through all these. Iblessed09: 1 Like |

Who books and pays for a flight when the individual doesn't have a visa yet? You only do a booking on hold just to show itinerary as part of the application documents. KingWarri: |

Good afternoon Nairalanders. Please I need your help. There are certain documents I want to go submit in France (for school) and the school didn't give me an invitation letter. They said I should apply for a tourist visa. The problem is I'm not working and I'm just about to apply for a university. My mother is the one footing everything. Please guys when applying for tourist visa can a sponsor be used? Can I submit my mother's bank statement alongside my own bank statement stating the sufficient amount of money needed for the duration of my stay is in my account? Please let me know. It's kind of urgent. If for a 1 week/10 day visa. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Iblessed09: 12:53pm On May 20 |
Nonamexxx: Please thread with caution. I see no reason why a school will ask you to apply for a tourist Visa just to submit some documents. Kindly do a check on the school you are in contact with to avoid fraud issues. Hope dem never send invoice for you to make payment sha? Over to the house... |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Nonamexxx: 1:08pm On May 20 |
Iblessed09: Lol no. I haven't paid a dime yet. They just need me to legalize a few things there but the university doesn't handle that. Do you think it's sensible to apply the way I stated? |
