90% of bloggers online try to follow the business models as well as the blogging practices of the big boys. Principal # 3 - be the authority
This is fundamental for your success. You need to become the authority in your niche, otherwise you will not be able to generate a sustainable amount of income, or any income at all.

So how do you become the authority?

This is easy, just be absolutely unique. Stop reading all the e-books, stop buying software, stop following what everyone else is doing and do your own thing.
Think creatively and make people think about you. The top bloggers in the blogosphere have all developed their own unique style. They have also developed their own unique characters, which people fall in love with.
Another important thing is, that your blog represents who you are or what your character is about. Don't just go over to the nearest "free blog themes download" location. Get yourself a unique blog design and I guarantee you that you will get way more repeat visits.
