Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has commended the Nigerian students, who just won the 2018 Technovation World Pitch in California, US. On his Twitter handle, @profosinbajo, he shared photos of the girls being decorated with their medals and wrote; These young ladies in Junior Secondary School, developed a mobile application called ‘FD Detector’ to tackle the problems of fake pharmaceutical products in Nigeria. Yesterday, they won the 2018 Technovation World Pitch in California. Congratulations! We are very proud of you

How I wish we have a sane government at any level that can make for a fertile ground for these young minds to breed and grow their knowledge. How I wish we have any University that can help them to carry out their independent research in a fully equipped environment. How I pray God will help them to actualize this great future staring at them. |
