So after the relationship has ended for whatever reason …… would you ask for your valuable gifts or any important asset you gave your ex ? …… and would you willingly give back those gifts or asset you once received too?

* Also, is it a sign of immaturity that you would even demand back whatever you gave your ex?

* Or, is it advisable to only give what you can afford to freely loose in a relationship?

Only give what you can affird to loose, repossessing a gift is just getting too low, I mean very low.

No,why should you the time when you were giving it weren't you happy and treasuring the moments spent together when love dey worry you grin

Relationships mustn't always end well or lead to marriages but some of those past relationships were amazing and fun while they lasted the only thing that may be returned could be a ring if it was a failed engagement.
Why ask for the things you collected what was the aim of giving them if not love unless the motives was ulterior then your intention wasn't pure or borne out of love

It is a sign of immaturity and a wake up call that person you are asking a refund from that he/she dodged a bullet like you it goes to show that it wasn't genuine and based on a benefit you may no longer be able to benefit from again hence the need for a refund. grin

Yes,give what you can freely lose in a relationship and stop being immature asking for a refund when you were giving the times were good wasn't it,cherish that moment and move on.

It's a big sign of immaturity..a gift is a gift not a loan and shouldn't be taken back cos of some misunderstanding or breakup..when you do that it means the gift wasn't really from your heart... relationship is not a business..

First off when you give someone a gift you transfer ownership from yourself to the other person...Essentially when you want your gifts back.. you’re basically trying to demands things that no longer belong to you..

donner c’est donner, reprendre c’est voler”: “giving is giving, taking back (what you gave) is stealing”. So yes it’s wrong.

Gifts should be left to go off but loans should be refunded.
