I am 19 years old. I've been having this problem since I was 14.

I started masturbating at that age. Since then I have been withdrawn from people and every other thing. I no longer have interest or feelings for anything. It's bothering me so much, I'm not an introvert. And, I also stopped wanking 2 weeks ago.

I have some friends but, I'd always ignore them. I turned off my active status on all my social media accounts. I don't post, call or even text anyone. I lose interest in people and activities quickly.
It's just as if I don't want anyone to disturb me, but deep down I want to be amongst people, I love it. But, the other part of me is just cold.

The only thing that gets me going is just laying on the bed or being at home or pressing my phone. I have no interest outside. I'm always angry, and a snub. Maybe, the fact that, I'm not living the kinda life lived I'd wish to.

Also, I was at a church, and a lady seated in front of me said, there's something blocking me from getting good opportunities. I don't know if it was because I masturbated alot. But, I knew she was right because; my life is a mess, and I have missed three job possibilities.

I just want your advice. Nothing is moving in my life. I have been stagnant all these years.

What pains me about this masturbation, is that recently I found out it stunts body growth like height and muscle growth... Ive come to notice continuous masturbation expels useful nutrients the body could use for growth and other needs. But with healthy diets, that should not be a problem.

I also accepted that, as a young man growing up, there’s a tickle of sexual desire and innocence that we could not understand at the moment. But now that we do, we can no longer blame ourselves for the mistakes but try to control this sexual urge or get a partner.

Try meeting new people, going out of your comfort zone, getting a partner, making money, eating healthily, finding peace with God, and dressing nicely.
