Hahaha there are over 100 bosses in the game,although it is not compulsory to beat the tree sentinel before progressing. You can still come back later but its compulsory to beat margit the omen king for progression. You have to focus on leveling up. Before fighting any monster,get to level 15 atleast.You will need a lot of runes and smitthing stone,you will also need to explore and unlock various graces,discover new maps and tunnels and please avoid any conflict for your own sanity. If you see any enemy run. Try to get your horse called torrent from your maiden for faster movement. Elden ring is very vast. You will explore and get tired.
