Men as an individual, yes. Men as a collective, no.

Lots of women actually do not need men for relationships, money, etc (e.g. lesbians and co). In the modern world, a woman can live her life without needing a man intimately.

But as a collective? Of course not. Women need men. Even men need men. Men are the foundation of every single (ok, most) thing that this civilization is built upon.

If a wealthy lady that is independent and doesn't need a man orders her Gucci shoe online from the US, it is men that will ship it by air, or ship and drive it to her house.

If in the dead of the night, she heard a bang on her door, it is other men in the form of police that will save her. In fact, if she called the police, her default mindset is that a policeman should show up, not a policewoman.

Just as femininity is the essence of creating life, masculinity is the essence of survival of that life. Men and women must either depend on other masculine men or become masculine themselves to survive and thrive.

Ask yourself this question, why is it that women adopt masculine traits when there are no masculine figures (eg their father) in their life? or to climb higher in her professional life? Yea, you got it. Masculinity is for survival.

So yes, women do not need men as an individual, but as a collective, you can't do without (masculine) men.
