A lawyer and Chaiftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jesutega Onokpes has said that common sense should tell the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that the legal thing to do before attempting to arrest the former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, was to first set aside the High Court order preventing him from being arrested, detained or prosecuted and that being a federal agency does no make it legal for EFCC to jump an oder concerning a state public servant.

Just read the comments above and see that Nigerians do not want progress in the country. We are naturally two facet. You can't govern a state with emotions. We uphold the law when it suits us.

The real issue here is the Court,why should the court grant such request n make such order for God's sake.

Jesutega should know that there is more security and corruption fight than just the peripheral applications of laws and court injunctions..... corruption politicians usually make use of the court injunction to cover their illegality ....and there are so many things fishy for Yahaya Bello. Why court injunction when you have no skeletons in the cupboard....? EMEFIELE just passed through the same fire and appeared before the court and the court gave a verdict to pay 50 million...either EFCC is pleased or not ...they have to abide...and for posterity's sake, he did what he should do by appearing before the court to defend his doing before the court.
Yahaya Bello has always acted wrongly in decision-making....he was the governor who kept on pumping Kogi money to persecute and recall Dino Melaye instead of doing his statutory responsibilities as the governor ....he spent all the money ..yet he got no result on it ...he make Dino Melaye more popular by pursuing defeated battle ....against the senator .
