I first noticed the cutting of yams for sale at Sango market around 2019/2020 and i was marvelled. 3 to 4 pieces together for like #500 or so for people who can't afford to buy the complete tuber.

Bubu spent 8yrs killing this country gradually and his supporters claimed it was in the best interest of the masses now we have another leader showing us negative vibes and these same supporters are still saying the same thing they said during bubu's tenure undecided

ALL APC SUPPORTER'S ARE MAD

Another useless post. Selling yam cut this way has been in existence for long because yam become diseased and the spoilt part is cut off in order to sell the healthy portion

It's still amazing how you people claimed sw is hungry but you se are the one crying and propagating it using false narrative and fake news

Do you really get what was said in the post? Let me bring your head back to the post in capital letters...

IN THE POST, THEY NEVER SAID CUTTING OF YAMS HAVE NOT BEEN EXISTING IN MARKETS BEFORE NOW, BUT THE MAIN REASONS OF CUTTING OF YAMS IN MARKETS AS THIS POST INDICATED IS THAT PEOPLE CANT AFFORD TUBERS OF YAMS AND SELLERS HAD TO CUT SO THAT PEOPLE CAN BUY WITH THEIR PURCHASING POWER LEVEL... AND AGAIN PEOPLE DONT WANT TO WASTE MONEY AFTER BUYING TUBER OF YAM AND SEE THAT HALF OF THE YAM HAS ROTTEN OFF AWAY, SO THE SELLERS HAD TO CUT THE YAMS FOR PEOPLE TO SEE IT AND BUY...

Do your teacher taught you comprehension in English language or you were taught but tribalism blinded you cos a Yoruba man who may be your kinsman is ruling?... Chai. Sunwo na ni e... A doju ti omo ... Look at what you are saying here.. When are you going to say how it is?

My brother, where has it ever be on record that a public servant ever resigned in Nigeria due to public backlash...

It is just a pity that Nigerians are suffering in the midst of plenty. Food that is the basic necessity of man that guarantees self preservation is now costly to get. It's just so sad!

Any call that comes to my phone with +234 always makes my mind skip cos I know it is a potential request for financial assistance from kith and kin back home.

It's not easy for us here, but at least, it's not so bad like what obtains in Nigeria.

How can you say this.
What does the word survival mean to you.
Do you know how many have died this period because they couldn't go to the hospital?
Do you know how many kids that are out of school now cos their parents can't afford to send them to school?
Do you know how many that have died in the hands of robbers and kidnappers because the government has not provided enough security?
If this is what you call survival, then I'm sorry for you.

Why do Nigerians always pick bad leaders Na curse? grin

Tinubu is in hiding. The old man is suffering from the usual old age related ailments.

And it is in his interest to be gone from Nigeria, so it doesn't become obvious that he is an undesired element in the US.

Not for Nigerians, they can adjust to the point of commitng suicide just not to disturb the rulers.

I have seen this at mile 12 markets years back but only yams broken by accident or yams that have partial decay.

Head or tail, there is serious hunger in the land. Bought 16k yam of 5 tubers on Saturday. Normal stuffs I do buy for 11k thereabout.

My prayer is for the hardship to never reach to the point of massacre across the country of people who supported tinubu. I desperately pray operation wetie doesn’t happen again
all the violence you incited against them after GEJ lost 2015 could online result in crimes against them in Baylesa.

Tinubu dodged debates, interviews, workshops, and any other means of engaging the populace during campaigns coz he new his evil plan against the people. Now he's revealing himself gradually. As it stands he's just starting. His brainwashed online ebinpawa goons will surely soon eat grass.
