cool

What you guys are doing is wicked to the bone

Niger Delta is the goose that Lays Nigeria's Golden eggs and after 40years FG wants to do something Substantial for them by building them a Coastal Highway and you are now fighting against it

You no Shame?

Yet You saw Buhari building Railway for his People even to Niger using the Niger Delta's resources

Don't you know that at least Half of what was used to build Abuja was supposed to have gone to the Niger Delta as infrastructure for the sake of Fairness and non exploitation?

FG has Cheated Niger Delta so badly for decades to the extent that they don't even argue about it again they only give them fake promises to improve their behavior towards the Niger Delta and because of a Single Road you are here fighting

Selfish people
And you think it is coastal highway that will solve their problems

I'm sure you have never been to the Niger Delta self

You too should stay away from Tribalism. Na coastal road dem call am. And one from Calabar to Lagos...and.tje other.. Sokoto to Lagos. These are not new projects...they have been there and deliberations have been there. So, why new routes. Then he mentioned east. Tell me where it should pass in the east. Stop this nonsense. You just want east. Na only you? You have coastal areas that expand to other areas there?

Where is coast in Sokoto?

"Time for the South to have their own infrastructure"

So you mean that Buhari did not give the South any infrastructure?

Do.yiu people come out deliberately to be stupiid or what?

What sort of imbecilic comment is this
You see this APC minions, they are something else. The way they tell lies is shocking as well as disgusting

Mind you, the rail they keep harping up has barely started yet they conveniently forget that Buhari built rail from Lagos to Ibadan and completed it. They forget Buhari built 2nd Niger bridge. They get amnesia about Lagos-Ibadan Expressway just to justify the shady and corrupt manner the Lagos-Calabar road was constructed. Can you beat that level of zombiesm?

Let us investigate your claim that OBJ left no legacy behind in the 70s. The place called FESTAC in Lagos today was built by Obasanjo regime. So was National theatre, National Stadium and the NNPC which basically feeds the nation today. OBJ built the first refinery in Nigeria in PH. Yet you say he has no legacy. What exactly do you mean by legacy?

In 1999, he brought revolution to telecoms in Nigeria and that phone you are using to type is made possible because of his efforts. Yet you say he has no legacy. He built 16 thermal power plants all over the country in his 8 years. Yet you insist he has no legacy.
Lekki seaport is a private investment. Same with Eko Atlantic. You guys either go claiming private investments as legacy of Tinubu or you go claiming the works of his predecessors. Are you by any stetch saying those investments would not have come to Lagos if Tinubu was not governor? Lagos had 2 seaports before Tinubu. Lagos had Banana Island before Tinubu. You guys just mix things up. If Tinubu was gov of a state like Osun that has limited private investment exposure, it is obvious you guys will have almost nothing of note to point as his achievements.

My point which you have not refuted is that Nigeria is not Lagos. OBJ tried same thing with Yaradua and failed. The North are the most power hungry part of the country. If you think a Northern president is going to be saying Yessah to one man in Bourdillon, I tell you that you know next to nothing about your country.
Oga, my post was about leadership and building followers. Humans ....legacy. someone who follows your step. If you don't understand my post...stop making comments. Na waooo..

Go back and read what you quoted again. He said East - west road. You would have googled east-west road on the internet to better understand what he was saying. But ur antennas quickly flagged at the very mention of east. Wahala dey o. He mentioned east-west road and not just east.
Stop twisting words. Why must east be there? Why not South? Get the crap out of my mention. Always justifying their hatred. Why must east always be there? South, North, are note regions? Why can't he say North West. Why must it be East? Get the crap outta my mention.

What does that mean? Do you know how many of Tinubu's followers have fought and disagreed with him? You are only looking at those who are still with him while ignoring those who have left him. If Tinubu leaves office today, more of them will still leave him.

But besides that, I can tell you that no one can become godfather to the president of Nigeria. It is virtually impossible. What leverage are you going to use to achieve that? Is it the NASS or the judiciary or the armed forces? Rest Oga

The guy is correcting your ignorance and you are holding unto it. East-West road is not in the East. It starts from Warri. A simple google search will save you this embarrassment. How can you be this triggered just by seeing the word "East"?? Haba!!

They were against the 2nd Niger bridge too. They are always against infrastructure development. That's why the SE is ugly. Their best state Anambra is nothing to write home about.

Have you been to Anambra before?? If yes which part have you stayed and how many nights.
One thing about some of you is that you have never left your region and you use newspapers headlines from opposition or even yourself to judge a state. Nnewi alone might be more developed than your state capital if you are proud enough not to deny it and shout Lagos lol

Thanks for this. Let's address this issue without insulting each other. We are all here to learn. I will answer you back with questions.

1. Does the law say that all the projects must pass through bidding process via BPE?

2. You wrote as enshrined in the laws...please, quote that law. I want to see the chapter and verse flof.tje law. Sebi you sabi law...go on...put it here clearly. I don't do dem.say.

3. Also, if any law has been broken, show us clearly. Sebi na law you wan use. Let's use that weapon well here.

4. Tell me the law that guides Environmental Impact Assement. Tell us the law that guides it. Show us clearly how they violated any.

A beg...you.will quite the applicable laws ooo. If not, just waka commot..

The law is called Public Procurement Act 2007. You can research this and let me know what gave the President powers to flout this law especially given the humongous amounts involved that is expected to be funded by the country.

You can also research the EIA act, you have internet and data, I cannot spoon feed you.

It is obvious that no matter what, people like you will always cheer on illegality and abuse of due process because you think you're getting one over Obidients, Igbos or LP.

The good thing is that bad governance and its consequences never discriminates, you will meet your comeuppance in due course.

Why are you guys bitter ? Government is only paying 30% or less-in this project the rest is public, private partnership that’s why they’re tolling it which is reasonable, if FG was the one providing everything then I can listen to some of the criticism.

Answer my questions or get out of my mentions.

Stop resorting to fallacies or emotional tantrums and actually think with your brain for once.

A president expressly awards a contract this huge without any due process and you expect everyone to just shut up and not ask questions?

Are you cattle or human? Are we no longer in a democracy, with the rule of law superior to everything else?

Or are you confirming that Nigeria is now a banana Republic and kakistocracy run by criminals who can do whatever they like?

Spoon feed who? You want to quote law to back up your claim, and you expect me to do your job. So, you think I am one of the people who you can just push around. If a lawyer claims a law backs something, he states the particular law..the chapter and verse. Dey play. Get the crap outta my mention. Just causing confusion everywhere.

Of course you were going to resort to what you do best.

Like I said, you're online so you can say whatever you like, afterwards you go back to your miserable life while you keep defending APC.

I hope the 30K per month is worth it at the end.

You are the one who is showing ignorance.Keep pushing your east. Everything...east east east. Na only you deg Nigeria. Causing confusion since Ojukwu's time. They aren't doing East West now. Now is South West. Get it into your head. Do your worst. When there is Eastern project, I will support it with all my heart. So, please....get the crap outta my mention. Keep your bad belle to yourself. Very self centered people.

If you ask this one.....he stays 24/7 in the West or South. He has stepped on Eastern soil maybe 20 years ago...yet fighting for the east. Lol. Confused people.

Bitter Obi supporters also act like this. Second Niger Bridge, Ikoyi link bridge, Lekki deep ports have been delivered with this same pattern what’s the fuss about about it ?

When these projects was initiated you said it won’t come through but it did. I don’t care who handles it delivery is my concern when the bridge is completed don’t pass through it because government didn’t televise the bidding process.

Lol!

Go.read my posts.....more coming. Tinubu will keep enriching his boys. I said it long ago. He will do outstanding projects and cover grounds, but he will.set his boys in all areas that you can't beat him again. Go ask Bode George, he will give you a comprehensive lecture. grin

And mark my words, he will use the law to back his actions. People like Yemi Osinbajo did it for him in Lagos...and there are still others doing it now.

So, don't complain. You never see anything. Mine is that they should just build the infrastructure. Yes, they will be so rich...but let them.just put things in.place. I have nothing more to say.

If you want to challenge him....go.to court. But I assure you that, he will beat you hands down. Yoruba may own everything in Nigeria very soon. Mark my words. Tinubu na master hijacker. I laughed when hausa followed him. They don't know who he is. Except he doesn't finish his 8 years. See...more to come. He will make Lagos a super nation. This is the legacy he is trying to leave behind.

This is one very unintelligent post grin

The coastal road as an alternative road will reduce stress on the internal roads thereby making them last longer. New communities will also spring up along the coasts leading to more economic activities and depopulation of already overpopulated internal urban and rural areas. How about travel time reduction? The advantages are endless.
That travel time ennn is one of the greatest advantages
