(Senior Investment Analyst to Associate Grade)

Job Purpose:​We are seeking professionals with experience in internal Control and Internal Audit functions who are conversant with Capital Market operations.

Job Background: ​The role requires high level of professional work evaluating internal controls and regulatory compliances for the company and ensuring appropriate levels of oversight across departments.

Responsibilities:

o Ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of the firm’s activities.
o Reviews existing accounting and financial controls, insurance policies and other legal compliance processes in place and makes any necessary revisions or additions.
o Conducts regular internal audits and reviews to assess the compliance of accounting department and individual employees.
o Reviews processes and records to see that accountants are operating in line with generally accepted accounting principles, laws, industry, and company standards. The results of the reviews are shared with heads of departments to aid in feedback, training, and development to ensure greater overall compliance.
o Engages actively with internal and external auditors to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings.
o Consolidates and implements IFRS legislation.
o Formulates policies and procedures to improve internal controls, compliance, and efficiency.
o Leads the process for internal controls reviews across the group.
Desired Skills and Experience:

o Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance and Economics
o Masters’ degree in related field is an advantage.
o Minimum of 10 years’ working experience in Accounting / Finance
o Minimum of 7 years’ working experience in Accounting and Finance
o Experience in one or more of the following: management, legal compliance, accounting, and auditing.
o ACA/ACCA, CFA, or other relevant qualifications within or outside Nigeria with proven skills and experiences are required.
o Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks.
o Strong communication skills presenting internal control and risk matters in an understandable way across various forums and levels of the organization with the right level of detail.
o Team management experience

Division: ​​​Institutional/Corporate Sales

Job Purpose:​We seek professionals with experience in Institutional/Corporate Sales.

Job Background: ​In this role, you will be required to provide high level of relationship engagement and client service excellence for target institutions and deepen key relationships in target markets.

You will also play a key role in generating new businesses by identifying opportunities of potential sales.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain institutional business with pension funds, endowments, financial institutions, family offices etc.
• Develop and implement sales strategies that will maximize and exceed corporate set goals for the business.
• Analyze the market landscape, identify business needs and meet with potential clients.
• Identify key contacts at potential client companies to establish and foster relationships.
• Grow the business by identifying new sales and business development opportunities.
• Seek opportunities to cross-sell and upsell to existing clients
• Support senior management in preparing product competitive analysis presentations.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Experience:

Required Qualification:
Minimum class degree in economics/ finance related subjects or science degree. (HND Upper Credit) may be considered. Professional qualifications such as ACS or, CFA and/or an MBA will be a clear advantage.
