Vice President Kashim Shettima outlined the transformative 'Renewed Hope Agenda' of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration at a High-level Dialogue on "Delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda," held in Abuja. The agenda aims to reposition Nigeria as a prime global investment destination, focusing on democracy, development, demographics, and diaspora engagement.

Shettima emphasized the administration's commitment to bold reforms and strategic partnerships to revive the economy and enhance security. He highlighted the significant contributions of Nigerians in the diaspora, announcing a $10 billion Diaspora Fund to strengthen ties and boost foreign exchange inflows.

Economic initiatives include a ₦75 billion investment in the manufacturing sector and the Renewed Hope Infrastructure Development Fund. On security, Shettima reaffirmed the administration's dedication to ensuring safety through regional and national interventions.

The United Nations and the British High Commissioner to Nigeria praised the administration’s progress in economic stabilization and security improvements. The UN noted significant advancements in digital literacy and broadband infrastructure.

The forum, organized by the Office of the Vice President, featured key government officials and international dignitaries. Speakers included the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, and Minister of Budget and National Planning, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, who highlighted the importance of international cooperation in advancing Nigeria’s economic agenda.
