Nigerians were'nt expecting too much from this administration but given what is and was on ground i believe the government should have done something for the people.personally  i believe the government has failed since the driving force or engine room of any and every sustainable economy which is the basic infasturcture were not  built. every country that can not solve its power problem can not solve any other problem it has period. the government has failed because the basic foundation for development were not established .no roads, no power, no water, and continious decay in the   health, educational, transport, avaition, security and housing sectors of the economy, increase in the prices of petroleum products at the expense of the poor citizens. They have deregulated everything in the petroleum sector yet nothing positive can be seen. EFCC is a very very good achievment and it has laid a very good foundation for subsiqueint goverments to use in fighting corruption which is one of our major problems here in nigeria.even though it has not been used properly by this administration i believe any sensible government will use it for the betterment of the nation as a whole.

As for the niger delta problem, i personally don't know much about it but i believe the governors of the states should be held responsible for most of the things that are happening there, open corruption and misappropriation of funds buy the state executives of the region is responsible for the untold hardship and the chaos going on there. though i blame the FG too for open negligence of duty in that region.the people that are into the kidnapping for ransome business are not doing it in the interest of the people of that region but for personal gains so they too are to be blamed but the insecurity of the people and oil installations is purely the fault of the FG.

Privatisation were carried out but nothing concrete is on ground to show that there has been an increase in the efficiency and over all out put of the privitised institutions. nothing positive too was recorded in that aspect.

Good foundations were made in terms of economic reforms, the consolidation in the banking sector is a great achievment though it lead to so many loss of jobs but its a right step in the right direction though jobs were actually not created.

The EFCC has brought a little sanity to the very corrupt way of life people are a bit cutious now but the efcc has a very very long way to go in making a firm stand on the war against corruption.

Insecurity was terriblely bad and it lead to so much unrest and untimely death of so many people. political killings did take place and some were encouraged and endorsed by the presidency.

The government has recorded some little achievements but in general it has failed the people because with all the money on ground people were supposed to have felt the impact of this administration in more positive ways.
