Hello everyone, I plan on studying biomedical science as my bachelor's degree at university because i like the course but i'm a bit skeptical about the job opportunities in Nigeria. I would really like advice/job prospects from anyone especially those who have studied biomedical science at university and are currently employed.

I know a couple of guys that studied the course at FUTO and none of them is unemployed. Though what FUTO offers is B.Tech, Biomedical Engineering.

Biomedical science is known as Medical Laboratory Science in Nigeria. They work in Nigeria Hospital , Medical Laboratories.

There is No profession that Job is guaranteed in Nigeria, but I think you stand a chance in Nigeria labor market.


You can work in all Teaching Hospitals, Medical centers, Medical research centre, NGO and as a lecturer.

brother, in nigeria now it does not matter what you study in school, its about what you can do so go ahead and become your graduate just to answer the name.
