Tyres are very essential car accessories. You can have a very sound vehicle but if the Tyres are bad, it is safe to say that the entire vehicle is bad because Tyres propels the car to move from one place to the other. Even if you have a brand new engine and everything else is functional, without Tyres, the vehicle is a good as an immobile ornament.

The same way we know that Tyres are essential, we also need to bring it to your notice that GOOD Tyres can’t be found everywhere.

At LarBish, we concentrate deeply on Tyres to bring you the best Tyres in Nigeria. Our reputation is paramount to us so we can afford to go the extra mile to bring satisfaction to our clients all over Nigeria.
Also we are not only after your patronage, rather we’re dedicated to giving you some safety tips on a daily basis via our social media to enable a longer life tread of your Tyres

-Do you know that the full meaning of the Acronym TYRE means: TRACE YOUR ROUTE EVERYWHERE

Are you aware that your tyres has a manufacturing date?

Every Tyre has a birth date, the day it was manufactured, and an expiration date which is six (6) years from the manufacturing date.
Most automobile manufacturers warn drivers to replace vehicle Tyres after six (6) years.
Waiting any longer than that is a gamble with Tyre integrity and is risky for both drivers or passengers.

What is the Tyre DOT code?

Each Tyre has an imprinted DOT code on the sidewall. DOT stands for the DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION and the code is made of numbers and letters – they indicate the place and date of the Tyre’s manufacture.

The DOT abbreviation is followed by numbers that indicate the Tyre factory code and date, respectively.
Production time is indicated by the last three or four digits.

For example, the first two (2) digits pointed here shows this Tyre was produced on the 31st week, while the last 2digits shows it was produced in the year 2012 (3112).

If you have tried other Tyres and are tired of experimenting, then try Tyres from LarBish

If you are new to vehicles and need consultation on the type of Tyres and other car accessories, try LarBish

If you have tried us and seen that we live up to our word, then please refer your friends and family to LarBish.

You will be glad you did.

Re: How To Know When Car Tyres Need Replacing by Richy4(m): 5:43am On Sep 16, 2021

I really have a question based on that tyres manufacturing dates... The ones that were not purchased within the space of the period that it was manufactured..

Let us say in 2015 it was manufactured, and a customer decides to purchase it in 2020, without knowing that it got expiration date, will it have any effect whatsoever ?

I'm glad I read this, I never knew that a tyre got expiration dates..

Let me add this... There one important key factor that we usually failed to attention to when buying tyre for our cars, which is TYRE TEMPERATURE..
Temperature of a car tyre can either be A, B, or C.
and this measure the extent which the tyre can withstand heat on our road.
For Nigeria weather, it's advisable to always go for TEMPERATURE A....

My tyre bursted on the way one night, I replaced it with my spare which was not in good shape. Even though the threads were visibly worn out, I used this tyre for 3 weeks before it finally parked. But within these 3weeks, I drove with fear that my tyre could burst any time. Thank goodness when it finally bursted, though I was driving on the ever busy pH expressway I was driving on a moderate speed.

Expired tires does not mean the tire won't serve you. If you have a new non used tire, after four years, it would have expired even though not yet used

Tyre that pulls out, is not the fault of the tyre, but it's assembly or other faulty mechanical parts
