Long story short, there is ds bani i used to date, had trust issues because of some signs like "are we seeing today" "when will u be available" I usually see on her phone, and also her responses, reactions, body cues to some questions and random checks thrown at her. I was 100% sure she wasn't seeing only me bt she swore nobody else was sexing her bt I didnt take her word for it because she had given me so many reasons not to believe her because of her lies. We used to have sex unprotected ( i know i bleep up big time, and I'll never do it again, even make the bani loyal like sarah, hell I'm not even dating again abeg). The last time we had sex unprotected was on 11/11/23 and i caught one mad fever few days after, with my symptoms (sore throat, nights sweats, fever, stomach ache once in a while) matching like 80% of HIV, so i treated malaria but kept over thinking, got very scared, couldnt sleep, lost weight significantly, always losing focus at work. Meanwhile she also had some symptoms like sore throat and the likes, which made my over thinking worse. So today, mustered all courage to go for test and decided that its just HIV not a death sentence, instead of over thinking myself to death.
Went to clinic (govt owned), asked for NAT test because its the one that can detect the virus within 10-30 days after exposure. The lady couldn't understand but I later said HIV test, she got blood from thumb, and few mins later, results came and she said I'm okay and I saw something like RVS: Non reactive, on the result (docs in the house, any more info pls?). She said I should check in 3months times. I'm happy as Bleep and I'm never trying sex again.
