The Federal High Court in Lagos has issued an injunction banning Nigerian telecom carriers from deactivating or terminating any phone line or SIM card that is not linked to the user’s National Identification Number (NIN). Jogs1900: If the government was really serious about insecurity, we would have seen it evidently, with or without Sim linking. Do you think most of the kidnappers call with their own phone numbers these days, they use the victims phones, sometimes randomly, the Sim link is a good idea but is not the main reason why the government has not tackled insecurity.... 1 Like |
