Kailalomo: You know nothing. Russia has ALWAYS had drones (Reconnaissance Drones), it's not a new technology and nothing special. They just didn't make enough of it because they were more focused on AD and strike missiles. Google it. The Drones Russia purchased from Iran are not the kind of reconnaissance drones the US has or had. They are suicide/kamikaze Drones. I doubt even the US had enough of those before the war. The US buys weapons and sensitive technologies from other nations, so why are you making a big deal out of Russia buying super cheap and easy to use kamikaze drones from Iran? They also buy Ballistic missiles from NK because it's cheaper to produce. A Russian Iskander-M missile cost over $3m. But a North Korean analog costs about $100k or so.
